As someone who’s been a genuine fan of Reiss for years (I’ve kept tags from every purchase!), I’m extremely disappointed by how they handled my recent order. I placed an order on 22 July and waited patiently, only to receive the wrong item. I personally collected it—as I always do for parcels requiring a signature—and even the delivery driver told me to contact Reiss. I had to spare two hours queuing at post office to return the incorrect item at my own expense.
Despite doing everything right, Reiss has made no effort to investigate or resolve the issue. They simply marked the parcel as delivered and ignored the fact that it was the wrong product. I’ve had to chase them, send proof, and now even involve Afterpay to stop further payments.
This has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unprofessional. I won’t be shopping at Reiss again. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I’d strongly urge others to think twice before ordering online from them.
Horrible customer service – Don’t follow consumer law at all. Told me my gift card wasn’t valid despite it being valid for three years. Avoid.
Solid premium brand, terrible customer service disfavouring Australian customers – I got introduced to Reiss through their sneaker range. Finley and Luca range are some of that I purchased. The quality and style of their shoes and sneakers are great and mostly handmade in Portugal and Italy, some in Romania. Recently, I bought a whole heap of gear from OzSale since they have huge Reiss bargains. The shirts and jumpers are mostly made in Turkey and China. Seem to be of solid quality because of premium taioring/materials, but given that they were at some point sold at the original price, I would have expected them to be made in the EU. The styles are great with nice, elegant and, in some cases, very interesting designs. As for the sizing - it runs super-small. I'm about 6' and lift weights and I have to get the shirts and jumpers in XL size. Coats are OK in L, just like pants. I would say their shoes and sneakers also run 1/2-1 size small. Now - the customer service. I just ordered a pair of sneakers for $285, which on their UK site cost about $135 when converted from GBP. I brought this up with the customer service asking for a refund or cancellation of order. They didn't wish to refund and couldn't cancell (apparently) and told me to ship the gear back upon arrival. The sneakers arrived with the GBP 75 price tag as an insult. The conclusion is - they would rather go through the process of return, taking the gear back and selling it for less to a UK customer, that refunding the difference to you as an Australian buyer. Wow, just wow.
