Relaxing Journeys

Great Service with a difference – I recently booked a LOTR tour in Wellington NZ through Relaxing Journeys. This booking was handled with the usual care and speed that I think most tour companys offer now-a-days. What makes this review different is I had the unfortunate need to cancel this booking. I would like to report that Chelsea from Relaxing Journeys handled this cancellation with equal care and professionalism and as such relieved a little of the stress involved in matters such as this.

If you are booking a tour I recommend Relaxing Journeys as just as good as many others, but I can definitely recommend them as a group you can trust to handle the unfortunate side of travel with speed, reliability and professionalism.

Excellent holiday – I just came back from my Southern wonders tour of south new zealand...i must say that it came as a suprise to me,how the whole tour was planned.i have nothing to complain except only things to say...the whole tour from i landed at Christchurch to the end was only exciting and the country is breathtaking...my tour director Ted and our wonderful driver Paul kept us safe and on track...

the hotels were excellent,the food was so delicious,eventhough i was a vegetarian,i did not have any issues with food as all the hotels catered vegetarian food...every meal had atleast one to two vegetarian dishes included in the buffet...all our luggages were taken care off all the time...

it was so well planned...only one dissapointment is that we did not have a fare well dinner and i could not say good bye to a lot of my new found friends...i have to thank Kirby from arranging such a wonderful tour for me,she was so patient with me and answered all my questions before i booked the tour,payment via internet was made so easy...

if anyone wishes to go on the tour to NZ please do so with relaxing journey...it is worth your money....Berry(Kuala Lumpur) Hotels,food,the planning of the tour,and the breathtaking views of NZ Must have had a farewell dinner..

Good – Last year, my husband and I decided to do a tour of New Zealand and I saw this company's online ad. I emailed them and booked and I was very impressed with their service the whole way through. For a start, any query i had, I was able to email and get a result quickly. I emailed at 11pm one night and had an answer in the hour!! Once you contact this company, you are allocated to the same consultant so you aren't trying to deal with a whole bunch of different people.

The whole process was effortless and efficient. They also arrange tours of different places in Australia and I will be looking at their associated company, global journeys, if I want to go anywhere overseas on tour. I would be happy to use them again because I found-and I don't know how this works-but I found their prices were cheaper than trying to book direct.

We arranged our tour of NZ through Relaxing Journeys, the actual coach company used was AATKings (also excellent) yet the tour worked out cheaper by booking through Relaxing journeys. Efficient, excellent clear website, extremely quick responses to any email enquiries and you deal with the same person all the time. They have offices in NZ and also Australia. It is probably better to book via Australia if you are in Australia, as you are covered by insurance protection. We booked via NZ but it still worked out fine. Nothing really. Just a small note though. As we booked online through Relaxing journeys, we did not receive the AAT kings package till we actually met up on the first day of our tour. The package consisted of a travel document wallet, a detailed itinerary (which we already had had sent online ) and a map of New Zealand. I think AAT Kings was a bit remiss in a way for not posting those things out to us, as the travel wallet and leather luggage tag would have been useful before we started the tour, not after. People who book online should be given the same consideration as those who book via a travel agency.
