Excellent – Great hair straightener. Makes your hair look nice, smooth and silk. Its cheap and does the job brilliantly, I would highly recommend this product to any girl out there wanting a new hair straightener. Top product and I wouldn't switch to another. I give it a 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up for this one :) Remington is one you can always trust. Its… Read more
cheap and it works like magic. To be honest there is not much I dont like about it. Although there is one thing but it cant really be helped, it's the fact that they heat up so much that you cant really put your hands where they need to be, you have to put them on the handle instead of gliding your hand down with it.
OK – I have been using this for 2 years and so far no issues. Also if you apply baby oil and then try it gives silky results. But you must not overheat and try to press as it could damage your hair permanetly. Very effective hair press, cheap Using this on extremely curly hair wont have good results.
OK – I've used it for years, I'd recommend it for people with fine-normal hair. I'm considering buying a more expensive straightener for myself because I spend ages straightening it but it goes wavy and kinky after a while. They last forever. I'm using my second one right now, I've had it for a few years, and had my first one for a few years too before… Read more
it died. It was only about $40-50. I like the feel of it, it is quite solid so feels better than smaller straighteners to use. I don't have curly hair, but it still doesn't stay straight for long. No matter how much I straighten it, or what products I use, it is straight for a short while but goes wavy again. My hair isn't that thick but I have a lot of hair.
Excellent – I have had mine for nearly 4 years and think I paid around $70 for it - unbelievable! It still works as well as the day I got it, heats up quickly and you don't have to go over the same piece of hair 10 times for it to actually get straightened. It's easy to use and doesn't leave hair frizzy. After 4 years it still holds the heat and isn't… Read more
suffering from wear and tear in any way. When mine does eventually die I will be buying exactly the same straightener again. inexpensive and seems to last forever Nothing at all
Excellent – It's a great cheap alternative to other straighteners. Unless you have really curly or thick hair this is a great straightener. It's relatively cheap. It also has been extremely long-lasting (I've had it for over 2 years, longer than most other straighteners I've used in the past) It doesn't tell you when it's heated up and it's a fairly… Read more
simplistic design. It doesn't fully straighten my hair no matter how long I straighten it for it still curls at the end and has mild kinks in it. Shouldn't be a problem unless you have seriously curly hair though.
Good – I have had two of these, both lasting 6 months each. They did a great job while they lasted, so for just over 30 dollars they are worth it. I like how you can also do curls with it. They only down side is that when it reaches that 6 month mark the ceramic glaze peels off and strips your hair of any dye thats in it. So cheap, does a really good… Read more
job, almost as good as a GHD while it lasts. Good slim design so you can do curls as well. Because its cheap most likely this will last about 6 months if your lucky. Also it doesnt cope well if you drop it.
Good – this has been superseeded by the new model CS1155. Dont know what it is like. RRP $33.95 and is available from most retail stores see overall opinion see overall opinion
Excellent – i bought this straightener about a year and a half ago and it hasn't skipped a beat. it is a lot easier to use than my sisters ghd and it gets the jod done a lot faster and it doesn't tug at my hair. i am so glad that instead of buying something for $200 i went with this one. i trust the remington brand, both my hair dryer and straightener have… Read more
lasted me for years. i have thick hair and some other straighteners don't work on it but this one does heats up fast, is a compact design, easier to use than my sisters ghd, and it doesn't burn my hair.
Excellent – I have used Vidal Sasoon before which was a very old model back in 6 to 7 years ago that has metal plate, and it is completely unable to compare with this lovely Remington Ceramic-plate hair straightener. Not very sure if it is something to do with the metal plate, old compared to new (improved) model, or the brand. Maybe a new Vidal Sasoon… Read more
straightener would do similar job, but this Remington straightener has definitely had my high recommendation! *Inexpensive
*It heats up very quickly and straighten hair thoroughly
*Great results on both wet and dry hair
*Ceramic coated plate helps protect hair from extreme heat and also helps easier sliding along hair
*Easier-use slim design
OK – Good inexpensive straightener suited for those with fine and not curly hair. It's inexpensive. Heats up quickly. Variable temperature for fine to thick hair. Not very good for thick and curly hair. It's easy to switch off the straightener while using it without noticing. Pulls hair.
