Over charge, charge you double and then say no its you fault. OMG this company is lifes worst nightmare and if you read the reviews that go back 10 years nothing has changed. They charge you twice and then say no bad luck you have to pay and I have refused so they have debt collectors chasing me and chasing me and will not leave us alone. Worse company ever
Very dishonest company. They hike up the prices ins sneaky way.. constantly.. we were paying almost 5 times what we were paying in about 2 year time period. Then notices from debt collectors. Just terrible business style.
Residential (via council). Injured my back and was incapacitated for six days (Sunday to Friday). My bin day fell on Wednesday. got "you need to call us within 48 hours" (like I had bigger fish to fry at that point) and "that sucks, give us $24 to empty it", so now I have a full bin for the next two weeks and a severe dislike for their company. If I could give them a zero for everything, I would.

randomly sent someone today to do our final collection without even checking or confirming with us. Guess what? We’re closed on Tuesdays, like we told them about 100 times previously! They don’t listen, customer service is atrocious, and they repeatedly make mistakes then I’m the one getting charged a futile pickup fee every single time when the actual problem is that they just send Med-X whenever they feel like it rather than sticking to your arranged pickup day. increase due to CPI, etc.” and then arbitrarily raise costs and add fees that was never charged before. Reaching Remondis customer service is nearly impossible, and if you refuse to pay, they’ll threaten legal action and debt collection.
It feels like a scam. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from Remondis.
They give you a price over the phone and then overcharge you – I called to book a service for a grease trap cleaning and was I told it would cost $300. When they sent the invoice, they charged $349. Unbelievably Terrible Service – This is an utterly terrible service provider. Got an issue regarding wrong invoices. Took months to sort it out. I closed the account and even after that I keep receiving the wrong invoices. No one replies to emails and no one takes responsibility for the mistakes. Seriously, very poor service. I wish I could give ZERO star.
Disgraceful business practices – Remondis got us to sign a contract for 3 years for fixed price on waste services and then overcharged us from the 2nd invoice. Incredibly underhanded sales reps and credit controllers have terrible customer service!
Utterly useless – Dont collect on contracted service have to call them every time get usual excuses driver has covid or fatigue. How do you get fatigued sitting on your bum all day utterly useless company DO NOT USE THEM
Disruptive to residents – PLEASE stop sending trucks out in the wee hours of the morning to garbage disposal sites that are so darn close to residential areas it disrupts everyone’s sleep (specifically the PARQ residences) from all the banging of the bins and loud shouting. We’ve made MULTIPLE complaints and the trucks don’t stop coming before 6am. I work shift work and would really appreciate not being rudely woken up all the time.
Appalling customer service! – We use their services for our business and will now be looking at other suppliers in the new year due to the never-ending issues we experience with them. ringing them where I can, because I know that it will take (on average), 3-4 weeks to have the bins emptied. I call them, and they say to me that our bins will be emptied the following week, so I sit there all day and wait but of course, no one shows up. I call their service line the next day, and the agent tells me that they don't have any record of booking services for me and that they will have to rebook it....they say to me it will be emptied in another two days. Sure enough, no one turns up again and I have to call them back. The cycle of excuses and "no record of booking these services" ensues, before I get escalated to a manager who says they will just get our representative to call me back. I have emailed said representative on multiple occasions with no response. If I conducted business in this manner, I would be let go by now! I don't understand how they are even still in business with the complete lack of interest they have in providing a satisfactory service to their customers. The customer service agents are also incredibly rude, unempathetic and very clearly don't care about their customers at all - given the tone they speak to me in over the phone. I just get told "well there isn't anything else I can do but rebook the service" It seems that no one cares about their job at Remondis...! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Dangerous drivers putting people at risk – I see these trucks drive past daily. Always drive far too fast and slam the brakes at the last minute when approaching intersections in Rockingham. Please educate your driver's before you kill people.

Wrote off my car and refusing to pay – Remondis truck driver reversed into our car, 2 months has passed and they have been palming us off constantly, we have no car, getting lifts to work, late to work and can't afford to buy a new car until they pay us out for the car they wrote off. Woste company ever, we have spoken to lawyers and aca, so hopefully they can help us because the company is doing nothing.
Took ages to replace a simple bin lid – Had to wait for 2 weeks to get the bin lid replaced and when I called last, they said they had to sign a paper work. This is how bad it has gotten!
Very bad service – I been call and email many time to ask for stop service and finial payment since 3 month ago, the customer service call me say will remove the bin then sent my the finial invoice , now they said I have to pay all amount to remove the bin after 3 month that unacceptable for me!!!
Terrible company – Every account we received from them was never correct all ways extra charges for years bad service and we never able to deal with them because nobody was available simply appalling people.
Poor service – Multiple attempts made to get a replacement green bin over several months due to bin damage (aged bin). No bin and no communication received. Separately organised household waste clean up, another disappointing customer experience.

Worst waste removal contractor in Australia – Remondis have had the Gosford and Wyong City Council (now Central Coast Council) waste contract for years and years. Now, that they have lost the contract (although the change-over date has not yet arrived), they are not repairing or replacing the bins, nor are they doing the bulk kerbside collections.....
They are just lying to the ratepayers, pretending to care, and obviously trying to get as much as possible without doing what they are supposed to until the new contractor takes over.
I feel really sorry for any commercial contract holders of Remondis- you will clearly be treated the same way if you ever try to terminate the contract.
This company clearly tries to "big-note" themselves (with NRL sponsorships, etc.), but actually don't care about anything except the dollars.
Customer Service...... they don't know what it means.

Terrible customer service and terrible booking process – Abrupt customer service operators and poor record keeping. Remondis struggle to retain booking information (despite making multiple calls) and some operators provide a very unpleasant experience over the phone. Use another waste / recycling company if you can.

Shout, talk on top of customer, did not listen and care what customer said, sounds like their customer service culture. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE MANNER. Appalling! – We are in an area that is not hooked into town sewage, so we have to have a tank pumped out each fortnight by Remondis. missed a pump out. We have a regular fortnightly pump booked with them, however they are so irregular it is impossible to keep track of when they have been, unless they leave a receipt which doesn't always happen. Conveniently this always seems to happen on a weekend, when they are closed. They have an out of hours contact system but whenever we call it and leave a message they don't respond. Apparently according to them, overflowing sewage, and us not being able to flush a toilet, have a shower, turn on a tap, do any washing (with a 2-year old and 6-year old in the house) is not an emergency.
Unfortunately they are the only people that service this area so we are not able to take our business elsewhere, and council has insisted on us having this system (as opposed to other systems which do not require pumping out) so we are stuck without any alternative. It's absolutely disgraceful that we are left in this position.
I had to give it 1 star otherwise I'm unable to submit my review. They deserve no stars.

Christmas 2016 was the worst. There were many public holidays on a Monday and they skipped two and a half weeks. There was so much rubbish that it was piling up on the street itself. I had many empty promises from Remondis. I was told there were no customer service managers available over Christmas and when I asked to speak to the operations manager, I was put through to a mobile phone that had incoming call restrictions.
I tried calling again, but was just hung up on.
I have put in several complaints to council over this. Remondis had told me that because they are a private company, they don't collect on public holidays, although they told council that they do collect. They even lied to council about collecting. It wasn't until a council worker came out to check that they were telling the truth, that they found that Remondis had misled them.
Don't use this company whatever you do. They are dishonest. They don't fulfil their contractual obligations and they will leave your building with piles of trash that eventually turn in to maggot and cockroach infestations. It's disgusting.
Terrible – Sorry, we can't even give one star. We were with them for 5 years then problems started mid last year when they change their collection schedule from 4am to 9am without consulting us. They end up having problems stopping their truck on our busy road and missed 6 collections. They charged us for the turn around collection but we still pay them… Read more
cause we were hoping to maintain our supplier. Eventually we have no alternative but to cancel Remondis service cause pest were building up and summer temperature making things worst. Very poor, we seriously faced the worst customer service, empty promises, rudeness, no coordination and even threaten that there was a contract that we can't get off without paying a big fine, there is no contract on our record. We have ceased their service but till today their bins are still with us taking up space, eye sore and very in convenient for our staffs (more than 6 months passed). No point leaving your messages on their phone, no return calls. One time a 'manager. showed up after a few months of complaining and he ended up complaining about his bosses to us! We paid all our bills on time since day one, given plenty of grace, hate changing suppliers but this one is a cracker.
