The Front Brake rotors keep warping causing shuddering when braking. The rotors have been replaced 3 times under warranty, but I get max 15000km before it happens again. Renault don't have a solution and every time the car is has to be taken and left at the dealership twice to repair. No-one at Renault Australia Customer Service seems to care. I also had the main A/C controller fail at low KM. Very Disappointed. First and Last Renault I will buy.

Under rated – I was talked into a test drive in a new Intens and couldn`t believe the quality, luxury and drive-suspension. It swayed me to wanting one which I bought End Sept 2021, trading in a 2020 Honda CRV top of the range AWD. I must say that being based mechanically on the Nissan XTrail was a big plus for satisfying my concerns on reliability and power. I drive in ECO mode and have no trouble getting onto freeways - adequate power - and suburbs/freeway driving is giving me 7.3l/100kms. Only fault is that the tyre pressure indication stopped working yesterday(tyres are fine). Also being a 5 seater is what I want in an SUV ( I am retired.), so the Intens is a plus for me. Interestingly, a year ago when I bought the Honda CRV after testing Subaru, Mazda, Toyota and Nissan, I hadn`t given Renault a thought. Lucked out getting the updated 2021 Koleos and got a good deal too. A point about Renault - ,they don`t seem to do much of a sales job in Australia. I hope they don`t do a runner again!

Purchased in for $49,000.

6 months from new and everything works. Adequate power. I find the auto seat sliding fully back for ease of entry, then automatically sliding forward to my memorised driving position a great luxury. The design inside and out is still as appealing as when I bought it. It doesn`t age. If ever I had a "keeper" then this is it. Nissan reliable mechanicals and built in South Korea put it at the top of the quality list. I note that Peugeot and Citroen slightly smaller SUVs are FWD only with lower engine power, BUT 25% dearer and not selling well. KIA and Hyundai SUVs are built in South Korea, and have excellent quality, but have moved to higher prices at least 10% more than the Renault Koleos Intens. Forget the China junk and the big Germans, their value equations are quite poor.

Endless Issues – Was so excited when we purchased this car. Beautiful and full of features. Unfortunately after 19 returns for warranty and over 7 months off the road we fell out of love and found ourselves in a world of hurt trying to get compensation from Renault. Literally writing this review whilst on the phone doing mediation with our dealership trying to get a result.

Purchased in for $53,000.
