Like the majority of reviews for Residentia here, I had unsatisfactory dealings with them to say the least. It's difficult for buyers to understand that the product they are purchasing is distributed by Residentia group as this won't be clearly advertised with the brand itself. So before I purchased my Esatto washing machine I would not have known… Read more

to check for the warranty holder/distributor to find out how painful warranty claims other people have experienced. My washing machine is just outside of the 2 year manufacturer warranty and Residentia pulls out ALL the excuses not to resolve the issue. The fault in the product seems to be quite common from online searches, so one would expect that this company would do the right thing and resolve the issue for their customers. Instead they dodge accountability for a dodgy product. Don't buy anything that is distributed by Residentia...it's just not worth it.

Do NOT purchase appliances that have been distributed by Residentia Group - trust me!!! – If I could do minus stars, I would put minus 20 stars! This organisation & the repulsive organisation they use to service their appliances (AWR Appliances Pty Ltd) have taken over 4 weeks each time. They pretend to have ordered an incorrect part, make you wait & then tell you they're too busy. After purchasing a $2,500 oven 2 years ago, we have… Read more

called them 3 times (nothing crazy) & they do nothing to support/help you. Imagine not having your oven for our 4 weeks with 3 kids & a hubby!

Terrible customer service and warranty issues – Residentia apparently assemble Esatto machines.I purchased an Esatto EFLW9 9kg Front Load Washing Machine on 12 March 2021 from the HOME CLEARANCE Group a member of the Winnings Group. It was supposed to be covered by a two year warranty .We rang the retailer before Christmas as a small piece of rubber had broker off the seal. They registered the… Read more

complaint on 3 January 2022.We and Residentia advised the seal was not covered by warranty (which I do not accept given there was no express exclusion and statutory warranties apply. )Nonetheless I paid for a replacement seal to be shipped to me by Residentia using the contact details Home Clearance provided .me and engaged their authorised service repairer to attend .which he did at a cost of $214.00 .Residentia have sent the wrong part and have now after considerable correspondence with both Home Clearance & ESSATO ,Esatto have apologised for sending the WRONG PART .They have now agreed to send what they term to be “a suitable “ part (it is not clear what warranty applies to that part) and refuse to pay for their service provider to attend to install same .They have also refused to reimburse the cost of the visit. I have had to use commercial washing services in the interim and have receipts for same. Unprofessional and unacceptable customer service throughout the whole experience. I have lodged complaints with Fair Tradingand also the ACCC.

No response and no resolution-i guess now it’s up to Fair Trading and ACCC .Ridiculous attitude

do not want this product at all after this horrible experience – I am still in the process trying to solve my induction Cooktop issue, witch bought from one of the Aldi store, within the Warranty Period. I could not believe the way this company to deal with sales service, initially I was just reporting the broken product, to get it fixed/replaced, I will keep posted it.

Michael from spare parts was super helpful in getting the gasket replaced on my Esatto washing machine. I'm a novice at washing machine repairs, but I got the right part and good advice - and was thereby able to install it myself and save the machine from landfill. I'd almost given up on it, but now I have a working washing machine again. No more leaks.

Don't buy anything with them as the warranty holder. We had so many problems with out Inalto cooktop from the very start. When new issies poped up they refused to service my cooktop sighting irrelevant and untrue issues with the oven(different item all together) saying it effected ventilation. When I disproved all possible ventilation based claims they just stopped communicating. I had to buy a new cooktop even though I had a warranty.

Poor effort. 0 stars.

Customer Service from the spare parts team was exceptional. Thanks to Dominic, Jessica and Maxwell for their assistance. This business is employing staff that know how to provide true customer service, which is extremely rare these days.

I’ve owned dishwashers from this company for several years and have consistently been impressed with both the products and the service. I initially purchased a small benchtop dishwasher, which worked beautifully. I later upgraded to a 45 cm dishwasher that performed reliably for around four years, with the only issue being a hose replacement due… Read more

to normal wear and tear.

More recently, the lower basket was damaged (through no fault of the company), so I needed to purchase a replacement. I can honestly say the service I received was the best I’ve ever experienced. My call was answered promptly by Maxwell, who efficiently arranged the order. The replacement part arrived within just a few days.

What truly stood out was the follow-up. About an hour after delivery, I received an email from Maxwell confirming that the item had arrived and checking that everything was satisfactory. I have never had a company follow up after delivery to ensure everything was okay — that level of care is exceptional.

I’m extremely happy with this company, their customer service, and their dishwasher products, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Don't bur Omega cooktops – My 79 year old friend recently purchased a villa in ulladulla only to find that the expandable zone on the cooktop was intermittent in its operation. I called Residentia and after a threat that if it was not determined to be a fault, then a service fee would apply. A technician arrived promptly and determined immediately that the cooktop had a… Read more

fault. A day later the cooktop was replaced but not with an expandable zone cooktop.

The new cooktop, unlike the original cooktop, could not heat oil to a temperature tube able to stir fry. My friend tried to prepare a stir fry but after 45 minutes, it wasn't hot enough to cook the dish. Residentia don't agree that the cooktop replacement should have been an expandable zone type and argued that they had been discontinued and that as long as the new one boiled water it was working perfectly. After three months communication has stopped.

My son has a 900 Omega stove and says the expandable zone on his works well but the other standard hob doesn't work well enough to cook anything and consequently the don't use it at all.

Don't buy Omega products because they are cheap and nasty and the warranty doesn't cover poor performance.

Look at the reviews for Residentia before you buy Omega products because they have a one star rating.

Worst experience ever – Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lady I spoke to was incredibly rude and was even laughing at me over the phone. However the technician never did… Read more

anything to the machine to find out what the problem was. Paid $160 for a guy to come out and shake my washing machine drum and say to us that it wasn’t worth pulling out and fixing because it’s a 4 hour job. But how does one know it’s not covered under warranty if they aren’t going to open it up and have a look at it. Absolutely disgusting customer service and treat their customers like a piece of dirt. Will never ever buy another product under this company again.

Horrible – Issues started from Day 1. For the first washing cycle, I added a detergent with no clothing as per SOLT washing machine instructions, page 10. I had a foamy water under the machine as a result and Residentia group organised a technician. The technician did the same thing, told me it's not their fault, issued a $165 bill and advised me to get a… Read more

plumber to fix my drain. I was shocked, and Residentia Group offered to waive it in return for no warranty repairs in future. I accepted it, as there was never a fault of any goods under warranty in my lifetime. Before getting a plumbing service, I decided to try a washing cycle with no detergent. There was no water from the drain and I started to use the washing machine with no issues. A few months later, the machine stopped working normally. It did the same cycle over and over again, I had to manually drain water and do hand washing. Reported it to Residentia Group but they refused to repair even though it is still on warranty. They demanded me to pay the debt which was caused by their own instructions. Residentia Group refused to answer whether any specialist ever did the test before they recommended it to their customers. They refused to provide warranty repairs or issue a refund for their failure.

Essato Fridge and Resident Group – Do not standby their products at all. If warranty is one day out expect zero support. Product concerned was an 400L Essato Fridge which was poor quality, leaked and completely stopped working conveniently outside warranty period. Advice from their subcontracted technician was avoid this brand and do not repair as likely will be other failures.

Don't Waste Your Time – I bought a house with an Inalto oven already installed. After 18 months the oven no longer got hot. original purchase date and I didn't purchase the replacement unit. I explained that it was replaced by them 18 months ago and the same fault has happened so it must be something with this product and was told that wasn't the case and they've never had this issue before, disregarding that I have had two with the same issue. I asked what their policy on warranty was an swas sent an email that simply said "we go by original purchase date". I searched the internet myself for their warranty document and there is no policy on replacement units. I called again and explained this and was told they were not going to replace it and they wouldn't help me. Customer service is appalling. The warranty team was always "out of the office" when I called. I was promised return calls and emails which never happened. They were completely unhelpful and did not seem at all apologetic that their product was faulty. I would not recommend this cheap brand to anyone.

The worst customer service! – Our new integrated inalto fridge is under warranty by Residentia Group. When it arrived there were no vents included. despite all literature stating otherwise. We finally asked to be put through to a manager. After some time he finally agreed to send us the vents .... And we promptly never heard from him again. Terrible customer service, terrible attention to detail, no adherence to their own manuals. Avoid at all costs.

No Customer Service – Residentia Group provides lousy customer service especially in Country Victoria - as a supplier to a range of large volume builders there is NO provision for attendance to service appliances and NO response from Residentia Group if the appliance is out of Warranty (12 Months) My Dual Fuel freestanding cooker has a faulty clock display which… Read more

Great service from Michael Suveges at Residentia Group – I had huge problems trying to source a new fan motor for my kitchen range hood. Brick Wall Customer Service Experience – Have a Solt dishwasher. I took the arm off to clean it and when replacing it back on, it wouldn't reattach properly. model it is. I send photographs, I ring, I'm send emails constantly - it's a continuous brick wall. The original product was replaced on warranty so my filing has been disturbed and I'm no longer sure where the receipt is. Finally I find a manual with two model numbers so I email them yet again. Not sure if the wall will come down but who has products that are not labelled with a product number? Residential Group. This is a rubbish experience, I will not buy their products again and I will be checking with everything I buy, these people are a nightmare to deal with.

Support is absolutely useless, therefore the products are just as useless – I purchased a counter top dishwasher January 2023, in December 2023, the product started leaking. I contact the company, they emailed me a list of trouble shooting ideas. I did everything as they asked, , then the dishwasher stopped leaking for 3 weeks, and then started again. I went trough the list again, made videos and took pictures, this time… Read more

however it did not stop the leak, and therefore I contacted the company again, advising it’s now time for plan B. The advice is got from them: the leak is caused because it’s plugged into a extension court and not the wall. When I asked the representative to please explain to me how this could be possible, water and electricity? she just kept repeating herself. I would not purchase from this company again, if my life depended on it.
