I previously owned a professional portable ultrasound that I bought back in 2004 for around $1,400 and I have had plenty of professional ultrasound treatments at physiotherapy practices in the past, so I know how well a professional level device works. with a similar model. So I bought the Revitive at a fraction of the price, hoping for the best.

The first question people might ask about the Revitive Ultrasound is: does it work as well as those professional devices? My answer to that question is: yes, it actually does! So you may then ask why 4 stars and not 5. This is why: firstly, the professional machines are highly configurable using a display interface - far beyond what configuration options are available on the Revitive model. This may or may not be important to you but having said that, it would need a professional to be able to take advantage of such configurations to begin with, so the simple options on this device are a sensible compromise.

Secondly, the professional devices emit audible tones to tell the operator if contact is ever compromised and when the treatment is complete. The Revitive merely turns the timer light off - this feedback is not nearly as good as a professional model and it is the biggest thing I miss in the Revitive, especially if you are treating an area that is not easy to get at and not in full view (which for self treatment is probably quite often).

Finally, the professional models are far more rugged and robust. This is not to say the Revitive can't do the job and is cheaply built - I am just pointing out the reasons for the massive price differences. Bottom line - if money is no object, I would still go for a low end professional model if you need to use ultrasound frequently. But if you are like me and only need it occasionally for flare ups or are not cashed up, this device is excellent, saving you a heap of money and - in the end - doing the job just as well. Having said all that, I would happily pay an extra $50 for a deluxe model that produced the aforementioned "contact"tones.

It’s a versatile device! – Initially, I was skeptical about this product being cheaper than many others simply. So curiously bought. My first good impression was the fast delivery (3days) followed by a email from the company confirming the delivery. Not what I expected. I wish I didn't buy it – I had high hopes with all of the high reviews. I tried this on my knees to see if it would help and then on my thigh and it did not loosen up or heal any of the tissues. It how ever did numb the pain which was strange. is definitely not worth the money for me. There is also the possibility that the people who used it got a placebo benefit out of using this device especially with the pain numbing. I should have know by the writing on the box. "Relieves muscular pain and supports healing" In other words it is pain relief nothing else.

great piece of equipment, I would recommend it to anyone suffering in pain, give the drugs the flick and get yourself a revitive ultrasound and say goodbye to pain.

This really worked – I bought it for my husband who had an injury. It took about a month to heal because it was an old injury. He had been experiencing pain and restricted movement. He has found that using this has given him pain relief and his injury has healed now. It is compact and light, and easy to use. good investment – A friend leant me this device as I had a sore I had a sore shoulder and a 3 day golf event to play. I was so impressed I went out and bought one for myself and continue to be pleased with the relief without using any pain medication. I am going to buy one for other members of my family as I am so pleased with it. it for two weeks. Have not had a problem since. Because it safely gives a maximum output and can be used even better than a professional machine as the users are frightened of burning you, this machine gives maximum output with no risk.

Amazing. Worth every cent – I originally bought this a couple of years ago for a minor injury. I tore my second layer oblique, quite painful I must say. I also needed physio to assist with recovery. They said using a product such as the ultralieve was a great investment and could clearly see my results Fast forward to today. During a recent clean up around my home, I completely forgot I purchased this product and recently suffered a minor muscle injury in my back. Using voltarin gel for a couple of days and then pain killers afterwards, I was only getting a small amount of relief. I did not want to rely on gels or pain killers for too long, so after finding my ultralieve, I was a little excited to say the least. Getting amazing results with my healing time of previous injury I thought let’s try this unit once again Amazing, I cannot believe how much difference it made after just the first use.
