In April I was diagnosed with a bakers cyst behind my knee. I've never had so much pain walking in my life. It was aspirated with some relief but it continues to give me pain, impacting my mobility and life in general. A couple months ago I desperately googled natural treatments for bakers cyst and the OSMO patch popped up. I needed something to… Read more

get me through a 10 car trip. I ordered it. It arrived the day before we left. I put it on and went to bed. It helped. I used the patch several days during my trip and was impressed with how it was easing my pain and helping my mobility despite my inactivity of car travel. When we got home I ordered more. The only down side is the smell when you remove it in the morning. It reminds me of a mustard pack. I could care less. Im feeling better and recommend this product if you have a bakers cyst. I'll never be without my Osmo patch. I still struggle with stairs but I rate my progress 90% compared to a few months ago.

Discovered the Osmo patch reading blog from the Mayo Clinic USA. Reviewed video from manufacturer on how the Patch works. It was impressive. Does just what the video claims. My wife had a botched total knee replacement (selected non-caring surgeon). 6 months after surgery and 2 follow up visits after surgery….the leg from knee to foot swollen… Read more

like same day of surgery, doctor gave no suggestions other than wait 18 months. Started out slowly with 1 Osmo Patch a day with 1st order then increase to two patches a day at the same time. The two patch solution made a noticeable difference in leg size and comfort level of the leg. They are fairly easy to put on. Once removed after X hours (8 or so) it is clear from the patch fluid was collected. Just place Osmo patch in targeted location(s) rotating to new area from day to day. While the entire leg is swollen, specific areas bulge more than others. Those areas were targeted with the Osmo patch and it shrunk those problem areas. The entire leg now appears smaller but still swollen. Continued use is expected to improve the situation.

** UPDATE** now 11 months after surgery and on 8th box of patches Finally discovered fluid build up was from Lymphoedema. The Patch really does reduced the size and improves comfort while treatment for this condition is ongoing. Doctors seems to be lacking skills in how to deal with this condition but specialized Therapy from Oncology seems to deal with it often. A combination of leg wrapping or compression machine, OSMO patch seems to help solve the problem. We added on herbal product from Lymph issues which seems to also be helping. Hope 1st and 2nd update help everyone.

**2nd UPDATE** Lymphoedema - finally found the solution on how to correctly treat this condition. Still continuing to use the Osmo Patch. The Lymph system is the Immune system and blood circulation plays a role. 80% of the Lymph glands are in the GI Tract. That “organ” has to be treated to correctly deal with Lymphoedema. Inflammation here from whatever – foods, medicines, etc. has to be fixed. Obviously stopping whatever is causes that in the first place is key. For treatment, I found a doctor that explains how to so well in her Blog, spoke with her and started treatment. Basically supplement Arabinogalactan and/or Colostrum for repair the GI. You can read the research article here https://wellnessresources.com/blogs/news/arabinogalactan-and-immune-function

** 3rd Update** OSMO Patch Usage - learned for optimal effectiveness of the Patch is to make sure it REMAINS in full contact with the skin. The adhesive that comes with the Patch keeps in in place but does not necessarily keep pressure on it to skin contact is maintained. I placed surgical tape across the entire patch to keep it pressed down. THAT REALLY WORKS!

More on Lymphodema - found local therpy places that offer Electro-Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (ELT) which uses a handheld device that emits a combination of vibrational, light, and electrical waves to break up congested lymph. Anything to bring comfort to a swollen leg and knee. **Surgeon installed WRONG hardware and has to be replaced** These OSMO patches are the differnece between hurting and some relief. They still work great.

shoulder be and so has she. The fluid on her shoulder in the morning was leaking out the side. Amazing. Then had a cousin with bakers cyst so gave 4 to her and the result is incredible. Now to convince the pharmacy in Taupo to stock them. Woud recommend this product to everyone with bursitis or inflammation.

Worked for elbow bursitis – I found out about Osmo Patch while googling a home remedy for my elbow bursitis that I had had for around a month. It was very swollen but there was no constant pain unless I was leaning on it. After I started using the patches there was no improvement for the first three or four nights, and the family members were complaining about the smell… Read more

(the kid wouldn't come in for the cuddles in the morning as it was "way too stinky", and on the first night I used it my husband thought something was on fire so he was walking around the front yard at midnight trying to find the source of smoke). The smell didn't bother me though - it kind of smells like BBQ spices.

I started noticing a slight reduction in swelling after night four but I had to stop after night six as the adhesive caused annoying skin irritation, and I didn't want to aggravate it further. Despite my stopping using the patches, the swelling kept on going down and now, a week later, it is almost completely gone which I am very happy about.

So it did work but I did not enjoy the skin irritation that came with it.

A very positive effect when applied correctly – I have shoulder bursitis and tight muscles in my neck from multiple spine surgeries. Out of frustration and constant pain I tried the Osmo Patch from a sceptical perspective. Nothing to lose I thought. Upon first application on my shoulder overnight I had a 50% improvement in reduction of pain and greater movement. Fantastic! I then applied… Read more

to my neck muscle spasms. After 3 applications the very noticeable lump on the side of my neck had reduced to a quarter of its size which allowed greater rotation and much improve sleep. The patches are very sticky to enable an airtight seal which is necessary for the ingredients to extract inflammation. After which they must be removed carefully and/or soaked for a short time with a warm soap and water mix. That minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for the improvement I have received. These work better than the anti-inflammation medication and the only side-effect is a slight red patch after the patches are removed. Effective pain relief at home, one of the best things I have ever tried after experiencing 30 years of chronic neck pain. And I used these to alleviate my shoulder bursitis which has had a great effect to at least 50% improvement. So I thought I would try them on my neck muscle tightness. I am so happy after having dealt with that pain and restriction for 3 years since my last neck spinal fusion! It's not perfect but what an amazing improvement. Thank you for reading this review. When you find something that assists with daily life and chores, things that used to be simple and painless, you want others to experience the same. Craig

First Time Use – My friend found a youtube link and sent it to me for info after a year of pain that has affected my work, my sleep, my life. which made me and my hubby giggle. I did experience some sever pain during the night, which woke me up multiple times but that is normal for me. I told myself to remember there is intense swelling in there and lots of damaged nerves, tendons, and muscles. Pain is to be expected if things move around, and after reading the other reviews- I will make sure I don't sleep on it (which I did, thinking it would help draw more out) or have pressure on it at all next time.

I took the patch off in the morning and instantly noticed my shoulder felt kind of numb, and the usual morning shooting pain was not there. It still aches a little, but I do feel a lot better than any other morning. I am excited to give it another go and see what happens!

Stinks like crazy and the smell pervades everything. Wouldn't have minded, but these patches never worked. i.e. there was zero difference. I gave up after the 13th patch. Slow but effective – I suffered from severe shoulder bursitis from March 2024 and over the period to November 2024 I managed to reduce the severity by 80% through physio and exercise. reviews. I have tried the 10 pack and can say that I am down to the last 10% of discomfort and have ordered another 10 pack today hoping that it will get rid of the rest of the pain. The improvement is slow and the adhesive of the patch can cause some skin irritation after a few nights, however I stop using it and after a few days the skin is fine again. I will update my review after I have used the second batch of 10 when I receive it.

Osmo Patch for elbow bursa. It’s a great product – I purchased Osmo Patch because I fell over while running and developed a bursa on my elbow, and the elbow was still swollen after six weeks. Worked unbelievably well – My chiropractor put me onto osmo patches for a hip bursitis as my Dr was talking about cortisone. Seems to work – The product does appear to be good at drawing excess fluid from joints. I think it could be more effective if it was designed in such a way as to keep the powder from collecting in one spot when applied. No matter how careful you are to distribute the powder evenly it usually all collects in one spot when you turn it over to apply. Would be better… Read more

if the powder could be in compartments. Also there needs to be a better way to ensure good skin contact without resorting to bandaging the area as well. Seems like a really decent product with a few design faults. If the powder is not evenly spread and there is poor skin contact or poor adhesion, it does not work as well as it could. I have had some good results by making sure that all these conditions are met.

I can finally bend my knee, squat, run and walk properly. I cannot believe the transformation in my knee, incredible! We couldn’t believe the effect – Reading these reviews, these patches seem to be a bit marmite. They’re either brilliant or don’t work for some folk. As they work on the process of osmosis, if you look… Read more

So far so good – I just used 2 patches and as i cannot move my arm i used them last night and this morning. Seems like they gave a bit of relief to my shoulder bursitis. After a visit to a chiropractor that left me in terrible pain, and unable to move my arm at all, I decided to try the patches. I have been on anti-inflammatories for a few days as well. I think it's worth a try ... i have regained a tiny bit of movement ..will use one again tonight Show details

Good and bad so far – I have used the Osmo Patch before with pretty good results. This time, I bought another box to assist with hip bursitis and shoulder pain after a joint replacement. on the shoulder. Both felt OK the next morning but when I took the patches off and washed the areas, I had skin pain and a blister on the hip. The shoulder has been quite good without blisters but now I am confused. Tonight I will put another one on the hip but in a slightly different spot to avoid more blisters (I hope). Might do the same with the shoulder as well.

Work in progress. Hence the three stars.
