Right Start Pet Food

Extremely disappointed. I had high hopes for this company as I would love to put my dog on an all raw meat diet but once I purchased my first order and they left it at the front counter with the apartment receptionist (which they might as well have left it with a stranger), I didn’t authorise for them to leave my order with anyone else other then me?, the receptionist never told me holding the order, which he doesn’t have too because it should not have been left in his possession in the first place, and because he doesn’t work weekends, my order defrosted by the time I was able to get it the following Monday which made it a waste of money and had to be thrown in the bin. After explaining this to customer service, they were quick to respond and blame me for not setting instructions on where to leave it. I thought this was ridiculous because every company I’ve ever dealt with, if they can not leave with you, or a safe place, they take it to the nearest post office for pick up. The apartment lobby states, with a clear note that “it is NOT a safe place to leave parcels”. The company has stopped responding to my emails after asking for a refund because of their mistake so do not expect customer service to help if you are in a similar position. Also, if you are in an apartment block that has a clear note written not to leave parcels, attach a note saying where else to leave it ( not that you should have too) so you don’t end up with almost $200 down the drain like me.

This is a first class product and service. You order your food before midnight on a Sunday, and you will receive it on a designated day the same week - (Usually a Thusday, Friday or Saturday) They have a good range of raw foods and this is delivered frozen. The quality is very good and the food comes in sealed trays, of your selected size. I find this the best option as I am arthritic and have struggled opening, storing and measuring some of the competitors. The price is very competitive and there are many options and often specials run. There are subscriptions that can take the possibility that you will forget to order in time, and there is a discount for doing so. There are many companies that have similar products, and I have tried others that I liked, but this is the winner for me and my dog
