What a rubish unit – It is 2 weeks since my heater was installed by a plumber who has had several phone calls to Rinnai. I have also called Rinnai. It is still not working. Winter will be past it seems before it will be working. It will not light so I cannot feel it will have been a good purchase.

Thank you for your review, we notice you have also had issues with a hot water service recently installed at your property. It would be very unusual to have 2 gas appliances fail at installation and we would strongly suggest having the installing plumber check the gas to the property.
We have a technical help line available to provide assistance to plumbers on site on 1300 555 545.
They are connected to new LPG gas cylinders with new regulators and pipework. The plumber has been in contact with Rinnai last Friday and since to no avail

I understand a service call was booked by the plumber for today Friday, at 34 Bedford Road Invergordon Vic 3636 The service person was to phone with a time I have not yet had contact from him or the plumber. to confirm his movements.
Today at 2 15 pm Rinnai stated ":we have no record of you or your units being a problem, even though a supposed service care consultant replied to my reviews. The unit has not worked from day one and even though Rinnai admit the plumber has phoned them on more than one occasion on two separate days there is still no record of a problem Rinnai cannot be trusted to have any consideration for the customer. Further the supposed team leader stated "if there is a problem with the unit it is between the retail outlet and you NOT Rinnai. What an attitude.
Rinnai have been contacted by your plumber Richard for technical advise, however we have not been asked to attend to diagnose the issue with your appliances. We have been advised by the plumber that he is having another NON-Rinnai plumber attend to try to work out what is wrong with the installation/gas issue at the property.
At no stage has Rinnai attended site and we would highly recommend discussing this with your plumber as having 2 recently installed appliances fail/not work, would strongly suggest an installation or gas supply issue.
Rinnai are committed to assisting in any way possible, but without being able to attend site, there is limited help we can provide.
FANTASTIC – This is a great and efficient heater, works consistently and perfectly, I would highly recommend. It is relly good with no emissions! Excellent for children particlarly for asthma sufferers. Timer works well - I love waking up to a warm house. Looks stylish and is able to quickly heat up the room.
