bought a few things and they were out of stock on the items. They emailed and provided another option or a refund. I opted for the refund but it didn’t come. Two phone calls, a message left, no reply, emails and eventually a case report to PayPal, I’m still waiting. They don’t seem to care when it’s your problem, but are good if you’re spending big money and no issues pop up. I’m not dealing with them again. I’d rather pay more money and get decent service.
Highly recommended – Had ordered and payed online but my order was on hold due to fault with the IT system showing no stock. Sales had quickly and efficiently resolve the issue, my items were shipped as quickly as possible to the UK. Brilliant communication and response. Many thanks.
RiseAbove dealt with all my DJI problems – I had some bad luck with several DJI drones that were used for my business and RiseAbove took care of everything better than expected. Friendly capable staff that know all the details that make a difference. Couldn't imagine buying my next industrial package without them. I highly recommend RiseAbove to everyone
No customer service - Don't seem to care about the little guys – Rang 9:30 , spoke to a lady, seemed very pleasant, asked her about information on VR goggles for my Phantom & Inspire drones, said I needed to speak to a Technician. Spoke to a Technician, was as helpful as I guess anyone could be but seemed that my call was just an annoyance. I get that, at times, working in the Automotive Retail Industry myself People really do ring you and ask stupid questions. None the less they were going to find a set of VR goggles to try as I have vision issues & didn't want to spend another 'grand' on something that I couldn't use. Mind you they had plenty of stock available according to their website. They said they would find a pair & ring me back. I explained again that I only had that day to get it sorted. Never rang back.

We purchased this for our business and now being told we have to wait 3 weeks just to get an actual answer from AGI and that we can’t get a refund on it. We had it for 2 days and now have to wait 3 weeks. Wish we purchased elsewhere!!

just want to add that also in the past few weeks I purchased the DJI Spark Fly More Package from Rise Above and I couldn't be happier not only with the service, but also the professionalism of the staff there.
Not satisfied with the service at all poor technical advice – Very poor service. Rise Above have a no refunds policy which they did not disclose to me until AFTER we made payment, and then denied our request to swap the drone for a different model less than 24 hours after we placed the order. a much cheaper price as the professional support from this company is non-existent.
You must complete all of your own research prior to buying from this company, they told us only what they had to in order to sell us a more expensive drone, and left out critical facts. If you have to research the details, there is no advantage in paying significantly more from this company.

Phantom fell from the sky with 96% battery remaining. It even filmed it's own demise.
When I asked Rise Above for what I presumed would be a straightforward repair the excuses began.
1st: I was given a straight out lie that said I crashed the drone by flying it wrong using bizarre manoeuvres. I was able to disprove that with my flight records which showed I was flying in a dead straight line back to me.
2nd: They changed the excuse to 'I must have hit something in mid air, but the camera somehow didn't see it. Quite a different story to the first.
3rd, after I started a Fair Trading case against them, they are now making thinly veiled threats that CASA will come after me because I was flying at sunset (they are calling night flying) and in a no fly zone (isn't one of the features of DJI to refuse to take off in a no fly zone). Apparently they think threats will make me give up on the repair after their lies didn't.
Very, very poor form Rise Above! Buyer Beware!!!

absolute 5 star service.
So many it appears judging by thousands of internet ratings are frustrated by courier /delivery companies in Australia who frustrate business interactions.
Yet "Rise Above Drones "didn't shrug their shoulders when I informed them of the complete non delivery of my expensive drone by the couriers .
They responded and demonstrated to me in a constructive and caring manner.
And that is an absolute pointer to all of us in the new commerce online world, do not shrug off when things go wrong , make the customer happy!
We all know how the modern world is, and that is why people who listen evaluate and act will thrive, in all honesty a potentially bad experience , with online purchasing for a newbie, turned into a positive confidence building experience , by simply GREAT CARING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Rise Above Drones.. take a bow , you have made a 50 plus man smile.

Good Service! – I could buy my Phantom 3 Advanced much cheaper online but decided to go with Rise Above as they were local to me and I was not let down, they looked after me with accessories, good service and if i have any issues I know I can take it back there. Ill be getting my Mavic from there.

was curious exactly what they were meant to avoid then.
I was told to read the manual. When I said there was no manual I was told the quick start manual refers to an online manual I could apparently down load.
I was then told by their tech that "WE ARE RESELLERS NOT MANUFACTURERS" Descending straight into a tree was apparently my fault as their drone looks forward not down, & according to their director, may not see "small tree branches & twigs", (IT WAS A TREE).
I was also advised, "we are well versed in consumer law."
I could have bought it cheaper overseas but wanted to support a local company.
Having spent nearly $3000 (including accessories) I personally cannot recommend these resellers. If you want cheaper buy the same product through the internet overseas, if you want service, good luck.
PS To add insult to injury, when I sent the drone to them assuming it would simply be fixed & they blamed me I was then told they would get a quote for postage to send it back to me! They claimed this was an unauthorised return despite the fact that I requested the tech to get his manager to contact me if there were any problems as I would be sending it back.
Rise Above, you've lost an otherwise loyal customer.
October 19th 2016 Update: I regret ever dealing with Rise Above..
I purchased a Phantom 4 from Rise Above because their Web pages boasts of service & solving problems & the Phantom 4 features collision avoidance which was important for using on my farm. After an uneventful flight upon return under autoreturn my Drone simply without warning plummeted into a tree. The collision avoidance on my Phantom 4 did not prevent crashing into that tree. I sent it back to Rise Above assuming a quick fix, no problems, but that was months ago & after numerous phone calls & multiple emails, they refuse to repair under warranty.
The excuses so far as to why Rise Above won't fix my nearly brand new Phantom 4 under warranty after it crashed into a tree....
1 the collision avoidance won't avoid trees
(curious as to what it does avoid)
2 the collision avoidance can't see less than 8 pixels
(it was a tree)
3 "we are a reseller not a manufacturer“ !!!

4 it was pilot error, apparently when the battery gets to 15% it automatically descends but collision avoidance only works forwards & doesn't work downwards. Apparently I was supposed to know this & override the program. This bit of information is apparently available in a downloadable PDF.
(Lucky Rise Above don't sell cars. Imagine, My Volvo petrol tank got to 15% & it swerved into a bridge.... You mean you didn't download the PDF? )
Yesterday I requested the owner ring me to discuss & am still waiting.
Ironically, I had the keypad of one of our 3 Lokaway safes play up a bit recently. I rang Lokaway this morning who without question requested my address to promptly without cost send out a brand new replacement. In contrast Rise Above will not only not take responsibility they will make me pay just to send me back my broken drone. My experience with Rise Above when I had a problem has been such that I would never use them again & could not recommend them. I am very disappointed.
I'm hoping that dealing with the actual owner this can simply be resolved without having to take this further.
Beware, what you see, is NOT what you Get – Please be very AWARE that you may not receive your item with the same packing integrity as when it first left DJI factory. manufacturer, however this is not the case when I ordered from this business the DJI Osmo X3 for $993.05.
Upon alerting them to the obvious (missing shrink film on the outside the box, Osmo broken security seal, battery box ripped open from the wrong end and phone holding pad with signs of usage) the reply by manager/owner of "Rise Above" was that the box had to be opened because DJI had forgotten to include batteries in some of their packages!!!??
Even if this is true one would expect that prior to sending the purchased item the operations personnel could had the brilliant idea of at least inform the buyer of this and include that same recall paperwork issued by DJI themselves to assure the integrity of your purchased item.
Unfortunately because my filming deadlines I activated the Osmo and no longer can do anything except speak my mind here and hope my warning dealings with this business will save you from having the same or similar pitfall in buying an item that could easily had been considered 2nd hand from this business.
After all this disilutions in buying in Australia I shall revert to buying from overseas rather than contemplate any other Australian business that holds little integrity towards their Australian clients, oh yes we were offered a discount on their overpriced DJI Osmo accessories as a compensation.
