I used the once when my roller door would nt open - they came that day and were really helpful. Later I got them to install a new door. They are busy so there was a delay in getting the door fitted but they were clear at the time I spoke to them. On the day to install the workers were held up - they continued to communicate with me about this and… Read more
when they arrived they were thorough, did a great job and had more to finish in a very long day. They had got stuck on a previous job where they ended up doing much more work to get the installation done. I couldn't fault them- this is life and they were great - so worth the wait. Excellent
Originally advised door would take about 6 weeks from deposit payment to installation which blew out to 3 months. Installation was booked several times and cancelled one day prior each time due to the door not arriving from the manufacturer. I had to repeatedly contact Customer Service for updates. They didn't follow up or return my calls. I asked… Read more
to speak to the relevant manager and I'm still waiting for a call back. The door panels require touch up work which was supposed to be done today however after waiting for several hours I called the office only to told the team member called in sick so was unable to attend to our door. No message was received to advise us of the cancellation. No care factor. No customer service. Extremely unprofessional company. Bad experience all round.
Where are my roller doors RJ Garage – I'm trying to be objective & give balanced review despite RJ Garages incompetence. Quoting process was OK. We ordered 2 x roller doors on 31st Oct 23 (so we could get the doors installed before Christmas with install date booked for the 11 Dec). On the day of installation, the installers (subbies), found that the doors were too short so couldn't… Read more
install. No one from RJ seemed to care to contact us to explain the situation. I had to ring up their office & sales rep trying to get update & seek some compensation for the inconvenience it had caused. They were slow to respond, but advised the doors had been reordered, but would not arrive until mid-January due to the Christmas holidays. They did offer some compensation. We followed up early January and were told that their door manufacturer would only reopen 15 Jan so they could not give me update. We contacted th sales rep again 17 Jan as we had not heard anything, but were told he had to check with the door manufacturer. Didn't hear anything until 2 Feb after a couple of emails & phone call. So called their office & spoke with one of their managers, who acted promptly and organised an installation date of 16 Feb. And..... here's the kicker...On the day of installation they rang to say that they only had only received one door from their manufacturer so couldn't install AGAIN (they did leave me a voicemail about this the day before, which I missed). They didn't know whether the other door was already completed or still had to be made (WTH). So it's been nearly THREE months since we ordered & paid deposit and we still haven't got the doors installed. We understand mistakes can happen, but what you do to rectify the situation is reflective of how you care about your customers. In that case they have failed us. We're really over this whole situation & just hoping we can get our doors ASAP. If you're thinking of using them, please think twice & ask yourself if you are prepared to go through what we have gone through. Update 8 March 24: Turned out the other door had not been made. Unbelievable. Still waiting for update on install date.

Warranty means nothing with this company, but we are happy to come out and charge you a premium to fix it – UPDATE (after review and owner reply): Just to let potiental customers to releaze that they are nice to you, before you pay and after you pay. But if you expect them to have your product or services covered for 12 months. After reading this and you still persue their services you deserve to loose your money. After a back and forth conversation… Read more
with the representives for the company. We got a structrual engineer who is working on another project for us to write up the fault with the support for the roller door. To further suggest that any enivormental conditions is not covered by you or the manufacture is absured. It was not one event that lead to the failure of the support. Why do you even tell people that you have a warranty? Your warranty is meaningless just a gimmic to get people to feel secure when paying higher prices to go with your services. We are proceeding for legal support to persue VOCAT.
Spent $7000 on two double roller doors with full support. I paid extra for thicker steel in the support. They used screw that got loose and seperated from the post. With some wind the roller door popped out and bent and damaged not only the roller door and other items. We have walls that are no further then 20 metres away boxing in the roller door, so wind cannot build up too much momentum. Not even a year, and was told from the begining I was covered under warranty. As a customer you spend more money to go with a company you can trust. When I sent the same information I am writting now along with more photos. The reponse that RJ roller doors said" Our Warranty isnt covered under god acts". Such a lame excuse, I had my structural engineer have a look at it, as he is working on another project with me. We both agreed better screws to support the roller should have been used to avoid this situation. To all potential customers, We rely on peoples reviews and the companies warranty to trust we are covered for situations like this. RJ roller doors is not cheap, but their warranty is. We are preparing a structural engineer report with the screws that was used and the following damage. with another quote from a better roller door company and start a VOCAT case for cost and compensation against them.
4D garage door opener – Garage door opener Made out of low quality materials and the remote controls plastic casing was broken with in six months
Very happy with the fitting of new door hardware and remote control to an existing tilt-a-door – Job was done when booked. It was a challenging job and was later found to have some minor problems. The concerns were addressed promptly and adjustments made resulting in a perfect result.
Perfect Door, Perfect Customer Service – The team at RJ Garage Doors were absolutely amazing to work with. They all have excellent customer service skills and are excellent at really listening to the customer. They put up with a lot of questions from me and my friend who was helping me, with patience, helpful advice and a smile on their face. I love the new door, it looks fantastic, it… Read more
works so seamlessly, looks really great and is fuss free. The installation process was smooth and easy. I definately recommend them and have been recommending them to all my family and friends. I'm a very happy customer!
Insulated Product – We ordered a new door for our parents as they had issues with a draft in the garage. We opted to have a basic option insulated door installed. They love it and can't believe the difference it has made to the garage. As an Italian family, they use the garage for not just storing cars, so this was perfect.
Excellent product, excellent service! – I cannot recommend RJ Garage Doors highly enough. Their product and service exceeded my expectations.
They did a great job – I'm not sure what all the criticism is about. They installed my door on time and within budget. The door is excellent. Works perfectly and looks great. Their customer service from day 1 was impeccable. Jesse and Michael installed the door and were timely, polite and very professional. When the door settled in a bit and started making some noise,… Read more
Jesse came over and sorted it out and smoothed the mechanism. Great customer service from start to finish.
Overall quality of job – I employed RJ Garage Doors to build and install a Roller Door at my home. The young sales man was pleasant but ill informed and this required several visits prior to a final measure ensued. The Installer turned up on time and installed the door then the motor. There was an immediate problem with the motor in that it tried to continue to lift… Read more
and or descend after it had reached the fixed end of travel. I was concerned and eventually he gave up with that motor and put another on the door. Motor no 2 was slightly better and the installer told me that a little vibration at the end of travel was normal. I eventually accepted and he left. Within a year the motor was trying to go continually past the end of its travel range and was noisy as well. I thought the noises indicated that the motor was working to hard. RJ came again and replaced the motor telling me that the motor was capable for this size door. Less than six years from purchase of the door, I had three motors that did not work the last eventually just simply did not move the door but did continue to try and close it, even when not activated, after when it was in contact with the floor. I contacted the company with my problem, RJ Doors could not get anyone to look at my problem for two weeks. I had no faith in them and had another company attend. I was told the motor was no longer capable of functioning and that it was also underpowered for the size of the door. I had them install another door which now works better than at any time in its life. I spoke with the manager of RJ Doors who could offer no ownership to the three motor story, he tried the old have you had it serviced as if it was my fault. If you want a door RJ Garage Doors would not get my recommendation. Most people get over twenty years with one motor. In my case it seems there is no care and no ownership of what would appear to be a defective design, fit, motor problem. All above my ownership level RJ Garage doors.
Our home renovation nightmare – I hired RJ Doors for our façade home renovation. I chose them on the premise that they said they could also do a pedestrian gate and panels to match the roller door at a later date. This detail was (is) very important because it is such a big space. We wanted to be sure we were taking our time and making the right decision. Only three weeks have… Read more
passed since the roller door was installed, and yes, we wanted to proceed with the other matching half. I am now told by another rep it cannot be done. Absolutely not going to happen. I am reaching out to the first rep - maybe the second rep is missing something - he will not return my calls. We have been left with a half finished façade, and scrambling to find someone else to at least take on the job a month out from Christmas close downs - the absolute worst time of all. It will be two months at least before anyone else can do anything. Then another plus for manufacture / installation. Couldn't be more disappointed, let down and/or misled in my experience by a company such as this.
All i needed was a $30 part – Do not use these guys. They told me i needed a new motor but subsequently found out a $30 part would have fixed the issue. Conveniently "threw out" the old motor when i asked for it.

Know better, choose better.
Stay away – Do not use this company. Roller door is broken after 8 months and they refuse to honour warranty. Forced to launch legal proceedings. Stay away, for your own safety. Minus 20 stars
Perfect and professional service – Worked with this company to get my garage roller door replaced. They came onsite, did measurements and answered all our questions. Yes, had to wait for the door get delivered and got it delivered within the expected timeline. The door got replaced in 1.5 hours and works as the charm. Highly recommending this business.
Great product and installer – Whilst the actual product installed was of a high standard and the installer,Michael, did a fantastic job. He was meticulous and took pride in his job, I found communication with the actual company seriously lacking. The appointment was for afternoon and they came in morning, I had to contact them regarding scheduling as there had been no contact in 4 weeks. You need to work on your client communication.
Product good installation poor – The garage door itself was fine, the motor good and canopy good. Deivery, installation was prolonged and the sales person that oversees this was difficult to contact and did not require the workers to do their best. “It will do” was more the attitude. Some other team members were more helpful even though it wasn’t their area and the company did… Read more
agree to put up the filling either side of the door to the fence. However that took a long time because of the sales person and the side panels were not fitted nicely to the canopy and was warped out to be attached to the neighbours fence despite the availability of posts that could be attached tlbtne edge of the fence creating a neat secure fence. The worker got the approval to attach to the outside of the neighbours fence from the sales man but only consulted me after he attached it. Not happy. but had had enough after messing about for nearly 5 months.
