Awesome people to deal with and absolutely changed my car couldn’t have done a better job will absolutely be going back for everything
Had my GU in at the RMR shop a few times now for some repairs and upgrades. Cant fault them. Car always comes back with the work completed at the highest standard and the car is left spotless.
Needed the head replaced on my GQ and a tune. The guys at RMR did a great job. Will definitely be going back to them if I need work done in the future.
i have taken both my 4 wheel drives to RMR and they’ve never disappointed. I’ve always had questions wherever i have gone about who’s done the work to my cars and it shows. Rueben and Ash do a killa job and never disappoint. Would never take my cars anywhere else !
Really good crew, top notch work wouldnt take a Zd30 anywhere else if youre looking for good service and knowledge.
I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else. I took my Pajero to the RMR crew after my fuel economy rose slowly over a year by 4L/100km. They fixed the issue and I ended up getting them to tune my car as well and the difference is night and day. fuel usage is below normal and it tows 1000% better. Friendliest staff and their workshop is clean and tidy.
These guys are no joke, no muck arounds and are legit, I will definitely be coming back!!! If your not at rmr your living under a rock!! Super stoked with these guys

Great team with a wealth of knowledge and easy to deal with. Did an awesome job on my 79 series. Rides amazing on the new lift and the tune combo with exhaust is totally amazing, I cant believe how much better it is and already seeing less fuel use in just a week of use.
Steer clear of these people. They will cost you time, money and headaches! – RMR made so many mistakes that I've taken to fixing them myself. I sent my Patrol in for an engine rebuild, upgrades and tune. Spent upwards of $25k, so expected the job done right the first time. I got it back leaking oil and coolant. Evey time I looked in my engine bay I'd find bolts missing, cables not clipped in, my glow plugs unplugged,… Read more
screws missing from my dash, oh and an exhaust gasket blew out because the flange bolts were loose. Months later I'm still dealing with oil and boost leaks; the former because they used a bolt too short on my gear case, the latter because they re-used a single use gasket. I also fixed yet another coolant leak because they hadn't replaced a 21 year old hose during the rebuild. Suffice to say they have extremely poor attention to detail.
Send it back for a month for them to fix the leaks, got it back 2 months later still leaking coolant an now my fuel pump is throwing a code. RMR told me I need to spend more money with them to fix it, even though this fault started with my Patrol in their (negligent) care and they removed my fuel pump to fix said oil leak. They tried to blame it on my aftermarket primary fuel filter, however they had bypassed it yet the problem is still there.
Fast forward a month and my motor starts badly leaking oil again, on a 4wd trip (again a workmanship fault as I found that too short of a bolt had been used by RMR and it had stripped the thread). I fixed it myself as I have no trust left in them and was in Qld at time.
They also seem to have a fairly high turnover rate, with a different ops manager taking over mid way through my build. From what I've witnessed, they are incompetent and the owner showed clear contempt towards myself and the Patrol community in our discussions.
Their defence gainst all of this was "Your rebuilt engine is 20 years old and Nissan won't warrant it either (duh), and you are operating (your off-road vehicle) in off-road conditions which are extreme. You shouldn't be running a second fuel filter without a fuel lift pump"
At no stage during the rebuild did they recommend they fit a secondary fuel pump, even by their own admission that it is required for the mods that they installed.
