to do split systems. Also went the extra mile to arrange delivery of the unit.

(2) Very happy with our installer, Rob from RMS Handyman. Rob came out to inspect before quoting. Very reasonable quote was accepted and booked in. Got a courtesy phone call from Joni when he was running a little late on the day, which was appreciated. The unit was installed very well in good time and without issue.

(3) Air conditioner was installed yesterday. Turned the air conditioner unit on using both the remote on/off button and the on/off button on the air conditioner panel. Air conditioner working. Minor hiccup. Remote control buttons weren't engaging any of the air conditioner functions at first, with the exception of the 'lights' button (lights up the air conditioner electronic panel). Depressing the 'lights' button turned off the panel lights and very weirdly also turned the air conditioner off. That happened a few times. Decided to fiddle with the remote's batteries and try again. All the remote functions are now functioning as they should. Tried again this morning and the remote is still functioning as it should. I suspect the remote battery connections were involved somehow but the issue hasn't repeated. Apart from that, the air conditioner itself is good and powerful, operates quietly for such a big unit, and is functioning as it should. It won't really be getting a proper work out until Summer but I can perceive it will do the job very well.

Overall we're very happy with the unit and the entire purchase / install experience.
