Very bad quality ROC I purchased ROC school shoes from a school uniform retailer. After one normal school day of use, the front and edges showed clear and excessive wear. For shoes sold as school footwear for children, this level of durability is not acceptable. The shoes did not perform as expected, even with very limited use. I returned the shoes to the retailer, but the issue was not resolved, which was very disappointing.
Based on this experience, I am not confident in the quality of ROC school shoes and would not purchase this brand again.
I have been wearing “riding boots” for years now both in work (multiple different terrains) and personally.. I have tried them all. RM Williams, Redback, Mongel, Blundstone ..even DOC MARTENS and more. I swear buy ROC boots. Comfort, style and boy do they last….worn them is water soaked areas …never a wet foot. From the first fitting …ROC boots fit like a glove on my foot. My boots have done literally hundreds of miles. Outback and coastal. Just saying. Oh, I have no financial interest in ROC boots. Just saying.

Wrong shoes and poor customer service – Was sent a pair of shoes completely different from what I ordered during their sample sale, so they were once offs, and was not refunded for their mistake and was told to post the item back at my own cost. Which is against the ACCC guidelines. The man, in typical male fashion, was uneducated on the topic of consumer rights, didn't give any apology for the mistake and made no practical offers to find a solution. He was short tempered and brash with no people or customer service skills at all. I never got the shoes I paid for or my money back. I hope the business goes under.
What concrete actions is ROC taking on exploitation in supply chains? – This review relates to ROC's Ethical Sourcing statement on the company website and how it reflects ROC's actual actions. An objective reading of the statemen reveals that it offers no factual information as to what ROC does beyond "understanding" how their suppliers protect their workers' basic rights. Modern slavery blights the supply chains of the textile industry, including footwear. This statement does not indicate that ROC has taken concrete steps to address this global problem. The statement: "ROC Boots work closely with our suppliers to understand the Human Rights & working conditions they provide for their workers are according to Local Laws & consistent with Internationally recognised principals."
Incredibly durable and long lasting shoes! – Have purchased 2 shoes from this company- the Pampas and Tarot designs, and can I just say how durable, sturdy and comfortable they are! I've worn the Pampas for long nights out, travelling all around Sydney, and not once did my feet hurt or develop blisters. Even when I took them off, my feet felt fine. Same with Tarot, I wear these all the time around the house and never felt uncomfortable or in pain. Their quick service and delivery of their products makes me love this company even more. Definitely looking forward to making more future purchases with them

ROC Reply was disappointing and avoided responsibility, blaming normal children behaviour instead of the poor product quality. A good school shoe should handle daily school use, but these shoes were damaged very quickly and did not meet expected durability for one day of use
