Favourite vacuum! – Silent is definately the word I would use for this vacuum cleaner. With varying suction levels (min - max), even at the maximum there is very little sound from this machine. handle means very little bending and straining, I find myself remembering I don't have to bend and push with my entire body and that I only need to move my arm. I have 2 dogs who mault a lot. This vacuum does a great job with carpets with pet (or my) hair. It comes with a pet removal vacuum head (which is VERY handy) and a general hard floor head also. The handle also has the built in brush "dusting" piece, so its a lot more convenient to do skirtings and window/door tracks. Storage is pretty easy, with their being 2 positions on the body of the vacuum for the arm to slot into, keeping it all together. One thing to note is that is does need vacuum bags. Overall, a great vacuum! VERY quiet, great suction, good storage, light-weight
