Very happy with the product and service - a boot liner for a KIA 5th Gen GT-Line Sportage. Originally ordered wrong product as website is a little vague in some areas but Rubbertree were quick to resolve the problem and with no extra cost. If you have a query on the product, contact them as they are extremely helpful.

Update ** Rubbertree initially responded to this review stating that a full refund had been issued and everything was taken care of. After I contacted them to ask where the refund was as I had not been issued any sort of refund, they continue to deny it. I have attached images. unfortunately reinforces my decision not to recommend this company.

I was very disappointed with my experience with Rubbertree. I placed an order on 11 January, and it did not arrive until 6 February. During that time, I contacted the company multiple times requesting an update and received no response.

When they eventually replied, I was told the item had not yet been manufactured and that I would be notified once it was. I expressed my frustration at the delay and lack of communication but did not receive any further response.

The poor communication and extended delay were extremely frustrating. By the end of the process, I simply wanted a refund so I could move on. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

After I contacted them to ask where the refund was as I had not been issued any sort of refund, they have edited their response. I have attached images of both versions. 18/01 - Placed an order for car floor mats and received advice which indicated that it had been processed - their information indicated a 7-12 working day manufacturing period and 1-3 days Auspost metro area delivery. 26/01 - email received request received and being reviewed 30/01 - manufacturing nearing the end stages but still with the 7 - 12… Read more

working days 10/02 - email indicating delay in order 10/02 - another email - order dispatched and collected by Auspost 11/02 - Auspost - delivery expected to Perth metro 18-19 February - exactly 1 month after placing and paying for the order!!!! So much for 7-12 business days manufacturing and 1 -3 days Auspost metro area delivery Poor customer service! misleading advertising! I just hope the mats when they eventually arrive a worth the wait!

You'd think with a name like RubberTree there would be some rubber backing to their mats - nope! I ordered and received Luxury Carpet Car Mats for Mercedes Sprinter 2006-2018. Advertised as "Non-Slip Backing: Ensures mats stay firmly in position for added safety." Well the actual product is nylon, no backing and slips like mad!

Follow-up  · Carpet quality was low grade nylon which is why it moves so easily. Fit was 'to shape' ok. New plastic smell. Their eventual solution was to send me velcro tape & stick onnhooks to try & secure it.

Rubbertree (MTL group australia pty ltd) is an NZ company that their linkedin says employs 51+ people. It took them 5.5 weeks (and multiple calls and emails) to deliver 2 of the 4 items I purchased. I can't recommend them, I'll shop elsewhere. Dave (disappointed customer)

Follow-up  · To their credit, I have been refunded for the missing items (two bags) To their detriment... They sent the bags anyway, but they are smaller than the product they are meant to hold and don't work... The foil windscreen covers almost slide in, but don't. I could coil up the covers super tight and make them fit in the little bags, but this would… Read more

Extremely Disappointed - Do Not Buy I cannot recommend these RubberTree mats for my new BMW X3. The product description is misleading - it claims "5-seat coverage" but you only receive 4 pieces, leaving a significant gap in the back row with the middle seat area completely uncovered. The front mats are even more problematic. They come with… Read more

non-standard retention pins that don't match BMW's factory anchor points, meaning you'd have to drill new holes into your brand new car's floor to secure them properly. This is completely unacceptable for an aftermarket product. For the price point and the damage risk to a new vehicle, this product shows a serious lack of quality control and understanding of what BMW owners need. I expected mats that would fit properly and use the existing mounting system - not something that requires modification to my car. Very disappointing experience overall.

Purchased set of 4 platinum mats for 2009 2 door wrangler. Front mats are 5/10 for fit. They are a better fit than a standard set but the pin hole to lock them down is in the wrong spot. I paid extra to get thicker heavier mats. These mats are lacking the weight and thickness I expected for the $140+ I paid. The back mats get a 0/10 because they simply do not fit no matter which way i try.... I wouldnt buy from them again.

Purchased a rubber boot mat for my car. Shipping times were acceptable and mat feels like it will be durable. However, for a “custom” mat that’s supposed to be shaped to your particularly vehicle, it’s a let down. The mat is at least 3-4cm short.

Bought a boot liner for my 22 WRX wagon. Arrived in a week or so. Perfect fit. Heavy and good quality. The car had a custom exhaust when I bought it, and is a bit droney. The Rubber Tree liner has reduced the cabin noise significantly. Couldn't be happier.

I ordered mats for my son's car and was advised they would take approx 2 weeks to arrive. After 3 weeks I followed up for them to tell me they will now prioritise as it hadn't even started being made. The mats arrived after 4 weeks. The mats were manufactured incorrectly and didn't fit. I called to explain and was advised they would mark this… Read more

as a priority. One week later I called again to be advised they were then going to send my info to the design team. Called back a few days later to be told they weren't in production but they were going to do so immediately after our call. What a waste of my time.

Unfortunately the order arrived after the new car. The mats have plug holes, of which my car has nothing to plug into them. The back floor mat and boot mat sit lumpy and not flush. Don’t get me started on the white stitching for my black mats to go with the black interior of my car. I don’t know why the car yard ordered these and not my car brand… Read more

mats. I do not like the stiffly rolled sunshade and will not be using it at all. Very dissatisfied and I do not recommend them.

I purchased a sunshade for my car, emailed company to check measurements, due another company making a 100% fitment. That was incorrect and refused to remake it. So after numerous emails, decided to purchase one from Rubbertree. Amazing fit, fits very suggly, fast order and receipt of sunshade. I definitely recommend Rubbertree for your car sunshade.

Wow..ordered full set of car mats for my wife's new Hyundai Kona Hybrid. I have front, rear and boot mats for my two cars, and find that tThe honeycomb design holds spills and dirt very well. I had an initial issue with the front driver's mat in my Q5 not holding in place so I contacted Rubbertree, not really expecting them to be able to do much. They asked for a photo of the issue and then saw the problem, and sent… Read more

Avoid Rubbertree Sun Shades – Purchased two custom made RubberTree sunshades: one for a new Mustang and one for our Ford SUV. Paid in advance, but it took them a couple of months and numerous emails (they would not respond) and phone calls before they actually manufactured them. Missed a lot of the worst summer heat and sun. OK, they apologised and we moved on. When we… Read more

eventually received the sunshades we were so disappointed. Who on earth designed such terrible sun shades?? While reasonably effective against the sun , they are a nightmare to fit onto a windscreen and even worse to remove them and store them in the car. You really need two people to fit and remove it, while avoiding the shade flicking in you face, marking parts of the dashboard, etc. Terrible, terrible design - they are way too stiff and bulky, do not like being rolled up - it's virtually impossible to roll up the larger SUV shade! I haven't been able to use the velcro strap to hold it rolled up in the car, so it just unravels and takes up the whole back seat. I gave up, ditched it in the shed, and purchased a much cheaper fold up universal, lightweight shade from Burson Automotive. Much better! The RubberTree sun shades are heavy, stiff and should be a fold up/fold out design, NOT roll up. Wasted money and lots of frustration waiting 2 months for delivery of these. On a positive note, I have purchased 2 sets of Rubbertree 'Platinum' carpet car mats, and while slow to deliver them, the quality of those mats was very good.

So far can’t be contacted? – Bought front seat covers. They as all companies and happy to take payment but then nothing. They don’t respond to emails and they don’t answer their phone. I have lodged a PayPal claim for a refund. Nothing worse than a company that takes your money, does not provide product and then is impossible to contact. IT WOULD APPEAR THERE IS ANOTHER PACK OF GRUBS OUT THERE TO FAIL CUSTOMERS?

Poor Experience , Misleading descriptions – Please be aware of how site has descriptions about products. " All Weather Rubber Car Mats Fits BMW X6 (3rd Gen G06) 2020+ Black, Full Set, 5 Seats" . any normal customer will think it has 5 seats full set. But apparently its only 4 sets. and after asking customer team. It was told that we don't manufacture 5th seat matt for this car. Description is misleading and not clear. Talking to customer representative is of no use.

Ioniq 5 Car Seat covers Poor Quality and Poor Fit – The items are of poor quality (1year4 months old ($312 back seat only!) and definitely are not a good fit. (Ioniq 5). My covers started coming apart 1 year after purchase. They have asked me to return the item to " patch as they are small issues". Unbelievable service considering the price. Buy elsewhere. EDIT - RubberTree have come back to me to… Read more

advise these issues should not be present and have offered a new set that "should fit correctly". I will update the post if or when they actually do this.

Edit#2 - Still no word on when I will actually get some replacement covers. I have been told they are “being manufactured and tested”. I wouldn’t be going back to these guys.

Edit#3 - I have been advised the replacement may come in another month. Absolutely ridiculous. They are now threatening to remove my replacement. Keeps getting better.

Durable Cover – I purchased a dog seat cover for my Ford Ranger XLT, and I’m thoroughly impressed! The material (canvas/rubber) is incredibly durable and is built to last forever. Delivery was quick, and I’m glad I won’t need to waste money on flimsy covers anymore. Definitely a great product. Thank you!

Perfectly fitting boot mat - fantastic – Bought a new Lexus NX and then had to buy a protective mat for the boot. A friend recommended RubberTree. Ordered the mat on line. Delivered as promised, fitted perfectly and didn't break the bank. What more could you ask for?

Very good car floor and cargo mats - recommended – When buying a new Subaru Outback recently, looked at the Subaru rubber floor and cargo mats (sold as accessories) but they seemed flimsy and a bit plastic - not sure how long they would last long. Someone recommended Rubbertree to me. The rubber floormats and cargo liner I ordered from Rubbertree are custom made to fit the vehicle they are… Read more

ordered for, they came within a week of ordering and the cost was about one-third less than the Subaru mats, as well as being thicker and looking more durable. They're also designed so that any liquid spills etc will be contained on the mats. Happy so far with them and would recommend and buy again.
