Rug Culture
1 review
Poor quality rugs – We purchased an outdoor rug 'brought to you by' Rug Culture. The rug is supposed to be weather resistant, however after just three months of being outside, the rug deteriorated to a point that it has now become a trip hazard. We tried to use the company we bought it from to check what warranty applied and were told there was no warranty on rugs because of normal wear and tear. After sending them some photos showing how bad deterioration was, they said they would forward them to the manufacturer for assessment and came back shortly after saying 'After reviewing your images the manufacturer have advised us that it is not possible to determine whether this rug was subject to fair use as it has been in use since November 2023'.
Even what they probably consider unfair use (not sure what it implies but pretty sure our rug was certainly not subject to unfair use), should not destroy a rug to that extend after just a few months. Yes, the rug was outside, after all it is an outdoor rug and advertised as weather resistant. Yes, we walked on it (is this not allowed?). The rug is now going to the bin because it has become dangerous. The company we purchased from offered a partial refund, showing they too thought the deterioration was not acceptable.
The rug looked good for 1 month, started to deteriorate quickly after that and after 3 months became a danger. Stay away from this brand if you come across it, especially as they won't acknowledge their products defects.
