concerns and issues I had with the company and A representative from Miss Amara got back to me and said that the rug has a fading effect and this does happen to their rugs. However none of this is mentioned in the description when purchasing the rug. I never would have bought a rug that is meant to fade and be so worn out in so little time since owing the rug! All Miss Amara were willing to do was offer a partial refund for the carpet clean. I did not accept this as this is not fair and reasonable and I want to return them the rug. I have been waiting on a response from them still since last Wednesday (6 days) and 4 of my emails later I have not received a response from them. Very poor customer service!
After reading other reviews I have seen other people have had this same issue with the quality of the rugs after only owing it for a short period of time.
I was willing to try and work out a far outcome but the no response to my emails now and then ignoring to resolve the matter shows how little they care about their customers!
Do not buy from them unless you want a faulty rug that’s old and unusable after a short period of time.

I asked if the “Ajuma Taupe Scallop Washable Wool Rug” size 280x190 would suit my 'contemporary natural elegance' style and colours; she agreed and provided other great options too. I chose the Ajuma because I love the minimalist, tone-on-tone design—it provides lovely texture without any busyness. Although the description says 'taupe', the Ajuma is actually a beautiful stone oatmeal—a perfect, ashy neutral with no yellow tones. Looking at my before and after photos, the difference is incredible. Excellent service from Jordan and Janelle and fast shipping from Miss Amara!

Absolutely horrible rug, my robot vacuum drags the fluff from it through my entire house. Just laid it out for the first time since moving house and it looks like the musty old carpet from my Nanas 1970’s living room. Never again! A waste of $300.

Loved the website allowing me to see a pic of the rug in my room. Rug feels amazing and exactly like the picture. I originally ordered the larger size but it would have been too big for the room so changed to the 200cm. This one might be slightly too small but we’re happy with the warmth it creates in the space. I have a number of Miss Amara rugs now and not only do they tie my spaces together, but they're so durable and easy to clean, which is very much needed in my home with my doberman! Had amazing experience with this Miss Amara Was a bit disappointed that the rug i originally ordered wasn't available for 3 mnths, but they helped me pick another, and they replied to lots of emails very prompt, finally I have the rug and am so pleased with it, actually think I like it better than the original one I ordered! Shocking quality. Straight out of the box it had thin areas and it acts like velcro so it's a nightmare to keep clean. Every seed, piece of lint etc gets stuck in it's short pile. If you walk on it in bare feet with any rough skin you can feel it grabbing at your skin. Its just awful. I had to handpick things out if it with tweezers. In the end I rolled it up and wrote it off to poor due diligence.

Despite this, there has still been no clear or reasonable resolution offered. At this point, I’m left without a complete order and no confidence that this will be resolved properly. The lack of accountability and urgency from the company has been incredibly frustrating. For a purchase like this, you expect reliability and clear communication — neither of which have been delivered. I would not recommend ordering from this company, especially if you are relying on accurate delivery timeframes or need matching items.

Terrible experience with Miss Amara. Purchased one of their washable rugs and holes starting appearing in it within days. When I contacted customer service, they said it wasn't a rug for high traffic areas. I then went back to their website and screenshotted where it said it was a high traffic rug. under our coffee table - not a runner in a busy corporate office. The customer service was quite rude and never apologetic. I had to threaten the Office of Fair Trading to get a refund. Such a shame as we loved the rug, but we needed it to actually work!

I was very surprised and pleased with the quality of my rug, very thick, soft and a luxurious feel. It did arrive with a smlal stain however I was offered a partial refund and luckily i was able to remove the stain completely.
I will rate 0 stars if I could. They have advertised a clearance rug for $380 which I was able to purchase and promptly pay for. The next day they told me they are out of stock and that I should choose a different rug and pay full price for the item this time. I opted to do a refund instead. It’s not about the price but the principle. They are bait advertisers and should be reported to the ACCC.
I cannot fault the service from start to finish. Although the rug wasn't suitable for my place ( totally my fault), the process of returning and the quick response to questions was fantastic. What a great company! Show reply
