What Customer Service?
I started my prep back in July. After receiving the wrong lights, I emailed Customer Service several times but to no avail. Finally, I phoned the 'Customer Service' to be told I would be a priority for delivering the correct product at the beginning of October - a big fat zero! - despite insisting I get the promise in writing. It is now end of November and after further chasing have finally received a note from the courier to notify me the order is on its way - still nothing from the Warehouse or Customer Service.
All I can say is Wow.
I shop at the Brisbane store every time I travel there. All I can say is wow! Not only were the staff extremely helpful and patient, they never got flustered with me (I take a long time to decide). Their products are of a very high quality, I find them very well priced. A very big thank you to the Christmas Wharehouse.
Interstate delivery is too slow
Ordered Christmas light on Saturday, and checked with the website to see when they would arrive. The website indicated they would be dispatched on Tuesday at the latest after ordering them on the weekend. Sent them an email mid week and also called them to ask when the lights would get here. They never called me back, but sent me an email on Thursday saying the lights were dispatched that day. Now I won't have my lights until halfway through December and that defeats the purpose of buying the lights in the first place. There was no express delivery option at checkout either. I am disappointed. Hopefully the lights will get here in good condition.
TERRIBLE, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE
This is the first time ever, I have ever posted a negative review about any company I have dealt with. I buy online regularly form all over the world and it is only very rarely there are any problems. The rare occasion there has been a problem, it has always been sorted out respectfully, quickly and easily.
To be honest and fair, my package did arrive quickly and my dealings with a manager from this company was very positive and helpful. My main complaint is how I was treated by a customer service worker over the phone and the quality of...the products I received. I ordered 4 sets of string lights as well as some other products. 2 sets of lights were missing casings or the casings were falling off and could not be fixed back on. When dealing with the customer service worker over the phone, it was apparent they were unprofessional, rude and had terrible customer service skills. The call escalated and I was suppose to be transferred to the manager but instead the phone went dead, no response, waited for a good 5 minutes, saying hello and waiting but nothing. I had to hang up and ring back. Unfortunately, the same rude customer service worker, who I was talking to, answered the phone, and then accused me of just hanging up. Very rude and unhelpful. The quality of the products I received were not that great bearing in mind half of the order was faulty.
Ordered from overseas
I ordered from NZ as I couldn't find what I wanted here, I have wanted this decoration all year and ordered when I saw it was back in stock. I was worried seeing others reviews, however as it was the only place that stocked it, I had to order. Well it arrived within two weeks which is good for overseas, was packaged well, and item was exactly what I wanted. So can say I am very happy with my experience, and will order again next year
great customer service
Firstly, I think these guys have the best range in the country. Hundreds of products to choose from. Secondly, I ordered like 20 products online to deck out my whole house and every single item arrived as ordered a couple days later. Wow - so hard to find that kind of service these days. I just felt I needed to tell everyone and say thanks!
I posted previously about some issues I had with my Christmas tree delivery (Only received half a tree!)
Well, the staff at Christmas warehouse did everything they could to solve the problem. The manager got another tree shipped out to me that day which I received within 2 days (SYD-VIC), all the pieces are there and its a magnificently beautiful tree. The photo on the website does it no justice, there are no big gaps because the branches are so thick and bushy, the snow looks amazing and the detail in the branch shapes are fantastic (they a...re all different shapes and have other branches coming out the sides etc more realistic) I contacted them on Monday with my half a tree problem, I had 2 follow up calls on Tuesday to make sure I was happy and they also provided me with a tracking number and update. They are also keeping me posted on my other two orders - I am so excited for them to arrive. Would also like to add I have had zero trouble getting through on the phones since Monday.

i ordered a $400 tree with these guys and when it didn't arrive within a week as the website advised I started to get this feeling in my gut something was going to go wrong... I jumped online and looked at the reviews and I freaked out. I'd been trying to call Christmas warehouse with no answer every single time, I called head office and each individual store. I eventually got through and was told my tree would be delivered within the next two hours. I also checked my other two orders and she told me they should leave this week but they had ove...r 700 orders this weekend and were really busy... (this did not ease my concern as I saw someone else posted here the exact same thing) It arrived and I was so relieved, until I opened the box and saw I only had half a tree! The package detail said "Box 2 of 2" so I assumed the courier had left with the other half still in is truck. I called and spoke with customer service who told me she needed to escalate this to her manager and she would call me back, I decided to call the courier myself so checked the consignment details and noticed it only said 1 carton, direct freight also confirmed they only received 1 carton from Christmas warehouse. I called back again to let customer service know and the girl I was speaking to said she could here her boss talking to the warehouse about my enquiry now. She kept me on the phone and I too could hear everything her manager was saying. She eventually told me she would call me back. Within 5 minutes the manager called me back and told me she was 99% sure that tree only came in 1 box not 2 and that she thought I received a dud. She wanted to confirm with the warehouse so we hung up and about 10 minutes later she called again and said I definitely received a dud and that she was having another one shipped out to me. I can even keep the half one I received. I actually found they were pretty efficient in solving my problem, they were all friendly people and the manager seemed to know exactly what she was doing. Customer service isn't perfect but it's not bad either. Will see what happens this week when my replacement tree and other orders arrive! I am still a bit anxious over it, but I spent over $600 with them and it took me a while to save up. Will post again once my new tree arrives!
Xmas light display
Its been so long that I have almost forgotten what Ive ordered. Been told they have moved and they have a back order of over 700 orders. They cant confirm exactly when I will get it. I hope they havent gone busto again.
Update. After finally getting the item only 1 of them came. I then had to chase up with sales. They then shipped second order, but it was the totally wribg one. Hopeless. Very disorganised. Only received it mid Feb.
Appalling Customer Service - Never Again
Order did not arrive in 4 days. Aus Post cost over $30 within Aus!! Courier was cheaper. Products poorly packaged. One item came broken. Still waiting for it to arrive.
Products seem to be sold out all the time.
Customer service is run by amateurs that don't have an idea. Company is run by dodos. They have a lot to learn. I will never buy from here again. Disgraceful.
Absolutely disgusting customer service!!!
I was told to call in & speak to accounts to complete my order over the phone & as soon as i called i was completely disrespected after i had greeted her she said she was "really busy" making me feel she didnt have the time nor desire to help me with my enquiry.. Anyhow further to this i was explaining clearly what i was after & she would constantly reply with "im not understanding, im so confused" insteas of trying to understand what i was after & asking all the relevant questions as a professional would! My child was screaming in the backgrou...nd & she very rudely stated that she couldnt speak to me if he was screaming! She had a really hard time with spelling & i needed to basically spell out everything i was saying to her. The whole experience was just purely disgraceful & SO disrespectful! She should not be in any way representing this company! I will never ever shop there again nor do i recommend this store to anyone else. No spirit of Christmas at all. Just rudeness & left me feeling really upset after phone call.
Overpriced and terrible selection
At first glance when you walk in, the doorway entrance looks impressive. After going through the shop I discovered that all the lights and decorations were almost double the price of Bunnings. There was a lack of quality decorations. We could not get out of there fast enough.
Out of Stock and Over Priced
I purchased a couple of items while they were on sale, I was then advised that the items were out of stock but would be back in, in time for Christmas 2014 and they would be sent then (October 2014).
Next thing I know the business has gone into receivership, and along with it my items!
The new owners generously offered to give me a credit for the amount I had paid, minus the postage fee paid ($21.00), I went to find something to replace the items we originally wanted as they were no longer stocking these. I found that the prices were so much...
Norway pine Christmas Tree
I bought this tree expecting a lush full artificial tree as shown in the website picture. Instead I received a straggly tree that looked cheap and nasty. Very disappointed - I tried to return the purchase however the company does not refund for a 'change of mind'. My argument that I would have been happy with the tree if it had been supplied as shown was ignored.
I wish I'd seen Dave's review above before purchasing.
Excellent Online Store
I would like to recommend this store to anyone looking for Christmas decorations, or anything you need for Christmas. I've used this store 2 years running and have not let me down. I've ordered items rather latish and fairly close to Christmas, yet they have got those items to me very quickly. Their prices are very competitive and they have such great specials. Thank you Christmas Warehouse, I find it a pleasure shopping at your online store. No fuss no waiting, and your communication is great.
Great custmer service, track your item, good communication
They ruined Christmas
I placed an order last week, and they guaranteed delivery my Monday. I needed the goods by Tuesday. Monday came and went and nothing. I called them on Tuesday and they said they have been very busy and my order will now go out on Tuesday. Just called this morning (Wednesday) to try cancel my order since they failed to deliver my goods in a timely manner but no such luck. They said it's been processed and there is nothing they can do. How ridiculous! Other companies I have shopped with this holiday season have all dispatched within 24 hours. This company is run by inefficient twits. Their prices might be competitive but I would rather pay a little extra and shop from reliable merchants.
Poor customer service
Norway Pine 2.3m Christmas tree
I bought this Christmas Tree online, based on the image shown. But when the tree arrived and setup, it was not as fill and lush looking compare to the online store image. I contacted them and complained. I was basicly told that I should get a professional tree fluffer to sort the tree. Very rude! Shop else were, you'll be happier.

Worst online shopping experience ever!
I placed two orders, the first one they sent me twice (around $500 worth), and the second one they never sent! I did the right thing and let them know about the second lot, no thanks at all, and now they claim they sent it and I signed for it - but it was the second batch of the first!!
I really dont know what to do - I should have just kept the second tree. This is what you get for trying to do the right thing.
They didnt send my order then claim I signed for it!!
