OK – It's great for a cheap, easy to use grinder but don't expect anything fancy from this one as it is strictly for hand held, 'guess work' grinding. It's compact, easy to use and grinds really well. It hasn't caused me any troubles over the years and it's done a fair bit of grinding! It's inexpensive if you want something that simply grinds coffee beans. You have to know by 'look' and 'touch' whether your coffee is ground to the right consistency and it will be different every time as there is no setting to say when it is done.

A part of the lid has broken from being dropped only once. It doesn't effect the functionality though.

Good – This is a neat, effective little appliance and if you think that you need some coffee grinder that costs several hundred dollars I think you should stand back and look at yourself! It's a neat and compact little appliance that I would be happy to leave out on the bench as it's not unsightly. It grinds pretty well (although I dont profess to be an officianado of coffee) and it wasnt too costly. It has also lasted well. this is petty but i would like to have a clip for the lid as I feel as though it might fly off when i'm using it - this probably isnt possible but it bugs me anyway.

Does the job but could be better – Have been using this grinder for grinding seeds and nuts. It works well but I found it doesn't grind seeds and spices fine enough (ie it doesn't turn them to fine powder). I have bought other grinders that can do that. If you don't mind having seeds and spices ground not too fine, then this grinder will do the job. Good safety; inexpensive; Doesn't seem to be able to grind seeds and spices as fine as powder.
