the Diamond Elite for a few $ more, so I decided to get it. So glad I did. Originally just over $200 Nzd but got it for $99. This iron is so good, glides over all fabric with ease. Powerful steam, although it did take a while for the shot blast of steam to work properly. That function is triple wow, 220g of steam coming out. It's just a shame that this model is a couple of years old now and is very hard to get hold of, infact it's not even on the Russell Hobbs NZ website anymore. This is the first iron I've had with a non stick soleplate but I take precautions like anyone who is well versed in ironing different fabrics. So if you find your iron sticking to certain types of fabrics (especially wool blends) regardless of non stick or stainless steel soleplates then use a damp tea towel on top of the fabrics. Sorry I digress, This is a fantastic iron. Bring it back Russell Hobbs.
