Russell Hobbs Steam Central RHST102

Russel Hobbs Steam Central leaks, expensive – Have had this for a couple of years now, would not go back to a 'normal' iron. Would not buy Russel Hobbs again. Love the steam method, it is fast and gives great results. The only problem is that the replacement cartridges have to be sourced from the Australian distributors, so are difficult to get and expensive. Also the quality is no good. My original replacement anti scale cartridges all leak at the connection with the steam generator - to the point that I end up with that end of the ironing board soaked and water on the floor when I iron.

Don't buy a Russel Hobbs, buy something a little better.

Brilliant!! Will never go back to a traditional iron again – Just purchased one of these at a bargain price. Have used it once and it was amazing. Powered through the ironing. I also re-ironed a linen skirt that was in the wardrobe - it looks much better than when it was ironed previously with a traditional iron. The steam central works well on all fabrics, but really comes into it's own on linen and cotton garments and other difficult to iron fabrics. speed of ironing, inexpensive to purchase, good with linen and cotton fabrics Will need to regularly purchase anti-scale cartridges. Don't know the price of these yet.
