Unfortunately the product review has automatically put this under garage floor coating, it isn’t, it’s a water based floor coating. Terrible, don’t bother with this product. I’m a painter and decorator and I regret using this product. It’s a two step process, first the high adhesion coloured undercoat, followed by a hard wear clear topcoat. The… Read more

problem is with the undercoat, I applied the undercoat and found that because you obviously have to walk on it once dry to apply the clear topcoat that the undercoat marked incredibly easily before you actually get the topcoat applied. I was even tried putting down sheets to walk on, but found that the drop sheets would imprint a textured mark into the undercoat. So really hard to get the topcoat on without marking the undercoat. I had to go back and redo whole separate tiles that were bad, Luckily because it was tile I could do a whole complete tile grout to grout without it showing up the whole floor. But I won’t use it again. It was a hassle.

Product is JUNK – Painted garage floor 8 months ago and all was fine until I parked a car in the garage. Next day paint is pealing anywhere the tires drove. 3 days later, no paint where tires drive. Product is junk and does not stand up to driving as stated from manufacture. False claim or lies. Product is junk. Show details

Read the fine print – The box says something like x times stronger than epoxy, then clarifies waterbased not 2pac epoxy. Which is a big difference. Does look magic just not durable, you dont want to drag a chair over it. Show details

Incorrectly Labelled, Had to Use Another Brand – We purchased the Rust-Oleum Garage Floor primer and Garage Floor Kit. The 3 boxes of Primer we purchased (for a 3 car garage) were labelled primer and had the same colour on the box. We opened the 3rd box to finish priming the floor and found that it was actually a sealer in a different colour which was completely different to what was on the box.… Read more

This resulted in the sealer having to be etched again and cleaned off with a high pressure washer so that the garage floor coating would stick to the concrete. We eventually returned the Rustoleum products and bought another product called Dymark which worked perfectly. Rust-Oleum used to make good garage floor coating kits but they have now introduced a confusing range of products and obviously have issues with their production process with products going into the wrong boxes and being incorrectly labelled.
