Great slimline car seat! – I bought the SNS Lifestyle car seat in July 2012 for my youngest baby after a lot of research. I compared it to the SNS Compaq as I needed a slim/compact seat for my car. Basically this seat is the same except for the fabric cover and the adjustment style of the straps (I was told this by the sales lady as well). I don't mind the cover, it's quite soft, it's just not fancy colours like the Compaq. The Lifestyle has straps that must be undone at the back, and re-threaded through the correct shoulder height to adjust as baby grows. The Compaq has the newer version where you move the headrest and straps move too. I didn't mind the manual option as you would normally only move the straps a few times in the life of the car seat so it's not a big deal to me.

My one complaint would be that when I pull the harness tight on my daughter using the strap at the foot end of the seat, the plastic is a little rough and is putting some small snags on the strap. I don't think it's affecting the straps as its just near the end, but its just something that has bothered me. Slimline, nice fabric, not too expensive, has shoulder markers to remind when to turn seat to forward facing. Small piece of rough plastic rubbing on end of harness adjustor strap
