And I know children do this but my daughter can un do for harness with out any problem and I have even brought the extra straps and lucky she cant undo them. Fits in small car! – This seat is good. It fits well in my small car. The seat belt strap makes a clunking noise when pulled up to latch together. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen! I like that it has a base and the position can be changed very easily. It is the same shell as the compaq but just has less bells and whistles making it cheaper! It is sometimes a… Read more

bit difficult getting my baby in and out due to my small car and it having large/high side 'wings'. This however makes the seat safer so it is a pain that's worth dealing with! I can loosen the tether strap every time I put him in or out which makes it easier than lifting him over and getting his foot stuck! I had a different seat prior to this but I've moved that to my mums car as I wanted him rear facing for longer. Ideally children should be rear facing for as long as possible! It is so much safer and in some European countries they rear face until 4! Here we only have seats with the capacity to rear face until approximately 12 months, so therefore I bought this seat for that reason! Rear facing for approximately 12 months Seat belt clunks when pulled up to connect to latch, hard to get baby over 'wings'.

Baby Loves It!! – We bought the Safe-n-Sound Haven Convertible after baby turned six and half months and we havent looked back. The price was affordable for some of the same products on the market and it can be front or rear facing for small bubs which saves on upgrading when the little one gets bigger. We started off with rear facing then changed over when baby… Read more

was big enough and she love it! Its small enough to leave space in a small hatch and comes in a great range of colours. Fantastic buy! Price, Size and Colour Range

Great buy! – This baby car seat was a great buy, It served us well until my son was 3 years old. When he was born we used it rear facing and as he grew, after about 12 months we used it front facing. Very good quality and easy to clean seat. Seems comfortable for baby and is suitable for bigger built babies as it has plenty of space. great size, good quality… Read more

easy to clean fabric and easy to install A bit too bulky and sometimes difficult to remove and store in boot

Great for price – Bought for my baby to use after she grows out of her capsule, have used a few times all ready at 4 months old in another car instead of having to move the capsule base. She looks comfy in it and it has good head support. I think a smaller baby would need a little more support for their head. I have used in a bigger Ford car and it fits well in… Read more

rear facing but was more of a squeeze in a smaller ford (focus). Touched the drivers seat when in the centre as hubby is quite tall, but got a safe n sound maxi to fit next to it. I am much happier with this seat that the one I had for my son it was too small and he grew out of it before he was 2 and it was a birth to 4 years. Being Australian made is more expensive that the cheaper brands but I feel it is safer and worth every cent. Reliable Australian brand, wouldn't by anything else

Fits in small car – I drive a micra and my back seat is very limited for space it fits perfectly leaving plenty of room for a passenger to sit comfortably or for shopping or other things to fit on the back seat. I actually like the colour it goes well with my cars grey interior. My bubby likes it falls asleep as soon as he's strapped in. I also like the fact that it… Read more

is forward and rear facing so we didn't have to worry about buying a capsule. I also got this during a sale 40% off bargain!! The price I paid, colour, compactability, comfort for bubs. The anchor strap was too short by about 10cm

Great convertible car seat – I bought the safe n sound Haven after having another car seat and being advised by the seat installers that my car seat wouldn't fit my car (Nissan Dualis). The SNS Haven is a wonderful option if inside cabin space is an issue (which it seems to be for most car owners). I also opted for this model as I much prefer a convertible seat, rather than… Read more

investing in a new one once bub needs to be forward facing.

Whilst it doesn't like nearly as comfortable as many others on the market, and doesn't have the 'bells and whistles' of many such as lots of padding etc, it definately does the job and is very user friendly ie: being able to move the straps as they grow taller, being able to easily tighten/loosen the belt with bub inside. Obviously at the end of the day, all car seats must be approved by Australian standards and be able to withstand an accident.

At times it is quite difficult to get bubs out between the straps and top of the car roof, however I don't have other models to compare this to. A very safe, comfortable and reasonable convertible car seat for a fairly mid-range price. Doesn't look as padded as others
