Bad – This is not a bad car seat as far as comfort and value for money. The baby insert allows baby to fit in more snuggly and the shoulder pads are great so that the straps don't cut into baby. Originally we had bought a different brand of car seat, but it did not fit into our car securely enough so we returned it and bought this Safe and sound. The problem I have though is that, compared to the Baby Love that we have in our other car, it is very difficult to tighten the straps. Nicely cushioned Hard to tighten belt
