Unreliable. I paid for a 30 day Europe e sim with 10GB. When I activated it I was told I only had 20 days and 2GB ie ripped of 10 days and 8GB. Fortunately my wife had a more reliable e sim on her phone otherwise we would have been in a mess. Will never trust saily again Show details
I just used Saily for March 2026 in Japan in the Tokyo & Nagano area(Iiyama & Nozawa & Madarao). We had very good coverage and worked very well. Show details
I bought a 1 month 5Gb for Vietnam and a smaller version for Cambodia at the same time. On arrival in Vietnam it switched on but nothing worked. I only got service when connected to a hotel or airport wifi. I wanted it to provide WhatsApp connection for connecting with my group. At the end of almost 3 weeks in Vietnam I checked the Cambodia… Read more
connection and it said I had no credit ♂️. I hadn’t even been there yet. I contacted (via dopey AI “help “) and was told the time had expired, yet it showed I had 18 days left for Vietnam. After telling the AI that I was unsatisfied and would change to another eSim I was transferred to a human who was just as bad. Eventually (after almost one hour) I was offered 3 credits. Who knows what that means?? So, $30+ later, with absolutely no service, I have changed to another eSim which actually works. I forgot to uninstall it and it is still showing as seen on screen shot. I am sitting in airport lounge in Singapore now heading home. I would give this Saily a MINUS if possible.
Bought a 3gb/14 day plan. After 9 days it expired saying that I had used my 3gb. My phone's data usage showed 0.96gb for that time period. They sent me a daily usage list which showed 3 of the 9 days with no usage. Being on holiday I was using my phone at a fairly consistent rate EVERY day. That showed to me that their data calculations are… Read more
incorrect. They showed NO willingness to investigate. In my opinion I was scammed so I'd be compelled to buy more data. Never again!
Used in Sri Lanka and was very unreliable . My friend travelling with me had no problems with airlo. I liked it because I didn't need to upload my passport . Would not use again due to the unreliability of a constant internet connection. Show details
AU Family of 4 - Europe - 30 days - After researching travel esim providers for our 30 day EU holiday, we decided to purchase 4 x Saily 30 day packages (5GB per day fast and 1 Mbps unlimited) for Europe region. These included a free Nordvpn package for that period that we could use when accessing hotel public wifi. We had pre-loaded the Saily app… Read more
before traveling and when our family landed in EU we would activate plans. This didn't go smoothly as it could, we activated two iphones, however the Regional Europe 30 day packages didn't appear as options on the next two iPhones, only 15 day packages showed. Under a little time pressure and unable to locate the packages we wanted on the two iphones, we opted for an Ultra package Global 5GB in total and 1 Mbps unlimited and a smaller Europe Regional package. Likely this was being unfamiliar with the app rather than products not being available but it appeared that the product Europe region 30 days was not available for those two iphones.
Data Roaming: We had no issues with roaming data, Saily always connecting to a local carrier with fast data internet, no matter how remote we were or on trains etc. This included, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Scotland and England. The daily 5GB data allowance was plenty of data to use Google Maps for navigating the hire car throughout Spain, organizing train schedules, tickets, tours etc, accommodation, restaurants. Our thinking was that should we had run on of high speed data, then lower speed 1Mps unlimited would have still enable us to use services WhatsApp etc. This was a major consideration to buy this package as well as having NordVPN and the brand backing this product.
The Ultra 5GB appeared to run out of data so we purchased another regional package to cover the remaining time of 10 days. Saily Regional Europe packages include UK so that worked great in UK with no dead spots throughout Scotland: Edinburgh to Inverness, highlands, lakes district and into England. After 30 days we went to Egypt for 5 days so purchased a Saily Middle East regional package for $14.99 USD for 3 GB. We topped this up a couple of times as we found that we had accidentally left Sync photos settings on that was draining our data. This package didn't include the NordVPN option. however NordVPN was still installed on our phones. When this expired, this caused all our roaming data to be blocked, despite roaming data turn on and Australian services being activated.
Issues: NordVPN expiring caused a major issue for family as we all lost roaming data at the same time when the NordVPN service expired. Even on our other Australian roaming services not associated with Saily we lost data. So we had no data for almost 24 hours and had to find a working hotel wifi to get online to trouble this. It took some time but recognizing that all services lost roaming data at the same time identified this was common problem for the four handsets, that pointed to NordVPN app that when we deleted it that immediately solved this.
Saily support: We contacted Saily support via the app a couple of times, who were the best. Initially an AI Bot chat assistant provided some good advice and then smoothly transitions to a real person that quickly solved any issues. This is one of the best help chat services I have experienced and a credit to Saily and one of the reasons I would recommend Saily. An issue we had was that had purchased the 30 day package on 7 Dec and a couple of the services, Ultra and a Regional package indicated they would recharge on 6 Jan, however they recharged on 4 Jan. As we were leaving EU that day, 5 Jan, the plan was to deactivate these services on that day, however on the 4 Jan we received advice that the services had been renewed. As we no longer needed these Europe regional services we contacted Saily support who quickly without any fuss, offered a refund for both of these products.
A family product would be great, one account manager purchases esims and distributes to members. Also data usage to show remaining daily high speed data and data used would be helpful, also keeping a daily history of data used. Data usage does show on the defined data plans but not on the daily limit plan and would be useful but not essential to have this feature.
Setup of NordVPN was relatively easy, appeared to integrate well and activated with associated voucher, however a smoother integration from Saily app would be recommended so not to use email to verify and active these services. The Saily credit Voucher system for referrals was interesting and didn't work for us. We did tried to use these vouchers to reduce the price for additional regional data packages in Egypt but on each occasion it show the discounted price but failed to process the payment using Apple Pay with no reasons provide, just failed. We then removed the credit voucher and the payment worked. Perhaps we were using these wrong.
Overall 5 stars. If you are looking for a reliable travel esim product with outstanding no fuss customer service then we can recommend Saily.
Firstly it would not activate and said I had no credit in the app. Customer service had to refund and I had to purchase a second time (evidence below). Then did not work in Sri Lanka. After two very unsuccessful further attempts to get customer service, I finally got a few brief moments of service by constantly manually switching the service… Read more

I would give this app minus if I could. Travelled to Srilanka and my wife suggested their eSIM. It is worse than garbage. It was unable to be installed and I spent over four hours with customer support trying to install it. Same questions over and over. Supervisors saying other did not know why and all get back to me and never did. Subsequent… Read more
chats by me they were unable to find my email to help me despite emailing me. My was life missed birthday messsges from family and they will not refund despite their app saying so. THIS APP IS A SCAM. o NOT USE
I tried Saily for the first time this UK trip and was happy with the price, service and ease of use. I bought a 5gig Uk eSIM for 30 days for a 17 day trip and still have 2 gigs left at the end. My eSIM connected about 5 minutes after landing at Heathrow which meant I could book an Uber into London. I consider it was easy to install and activate… Read more
at Heathrow which was my main reason for buying this brand. (even though it was American). I got a reasonable service connection in all the places I visited outside London. It was cheaper, easier to use and better all round than the Australian ones I’d bought previously.
I purchased 2 of the 30 day, 10gb Europe esims, one for my wife and one for myself. We had previously used them in Thailand and they were fine. Unfortunately not so on this occasion. We both have Samsung S24 phones. We travelled, UK, Europe, Norway and Iceland. The esim was supposed to work in all of these areas. The problem we had was that… Read more
the esim would work but then disconnect. Trying to access the Saily app was futile, it would just come up with a "reload message" not other options were available and this did not work. We found that deleting then re downloading the app worked but we constantly had to do this but obviously needed internet access to achieve. Defeated the purpose. We did eventually find instructions to set up the esim through phone settings which appeared to resolve the issue. The problem is that you need access to internet to access the instructions. Catch 22 situation. To be fair, the issues appeared to be around the app / software. When connected there was no issue with network. I would have been happy to discuss this issue with Saily however there doesn't appear to be anywhere on their site to communicate these issues. Hopefully the problems can be resolved as it could be an excellent product at a fair price.
Used Saily during my trip to France a few weeks ago and it worked great overall. It was easy to setup and the speeds were fast enough for Google Maps, messaging, social media, Facetime and etc..
Travelling in Spain and found Saily eSIM to not connect most of the time. Did not work at all well with my Apple Phone. I had the phone checked and the problem is definitely the Saily service. Has been days trying to sort out this problem. Will not use them anymore
