Purchased a T-15 salt cell with the advertised 5 year warranty from The Salt Pool Store, I had a problem with the cell after 1 year, contacted them about warranty and they sent me claim instructions, which included shipping my defective cell to a location in Tennessee, I had to pay the shipping, I sent them the tracking info per their request, I confirmed through tracking that they received the defective cell. Since sending the cell back on 7/15/25, they have not communicated with me at all. I tried calling several times, the line transfers to customer service, then drops. I reply to the email they sent the claim Instructions on and no response, I try to chat with someone on their saltpoolstore.com website and the chat drops everytime I say I’m inquiring about the status of my warranty claim. So it’s been awhile but I’m going to try to do something with my credit card company, not many options when a company like this totally takes advantage of consumers. I’m sure it will catch up to them soon. Do not buy a salt cell from this company, it is truly the first experience I have had with a company that blatantly tips you off with no conscious
Follow-up · Nothing has changed, sent my defective salt cell in months ago, when I sent them an email about the issues I was having with the cell, they sent me instructions for returning the defective cell, which I had to pay$38 shipping. They won’t answer their phone or reply to emails. They are doing this with many customers in the United States. Out right ripping people off. It’s all over the internet now. Still selling salt cells at saltpoolstore.com. Don’t purchase, they are a total scam. They will attempt to chat with me when I visit their website, but once I inquire about my warranty, the chat drops.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! – ordered a salt cell lead from website. What eventually arrived was completely different to what was on the online store. They said return it- we will replace. I returned to their PO Box, but it came back to me "Address not known". I returned it to their physical address- they claimed did not receive it. Still waiting 2 months later. AVOID THIS BUSINESS
