I dont know which was the bigger disaster - buying the hopelessly flawed unit, or buying it direct from Samsung and having to deal with their customer service. On reflection, at least we had a few months decent use out of the unit, so that was a better experience than dealing with Samsung which has been overwhelmingly unsatisfactory. The unit would be awesome if it wasn't inherently flawed, there are plenty of threads online with people trying to work around the problems with it.

So having taken the unit out to their authorised service people and having been told to expect it back in a week to 10 days, Samsung had no contact for about 3 - 4 weeks, after following it up it gets escalated and oh yes it needs a new motor but there are none in Australia and none on the way. Samsung wont replace it as they have no stock (as at Feb '26) and they wont organise it from a retailer like Harvey Norman who seem to have stock albeit at a higher price, and Samsung will only pay back the purchase price paid to them and not the cost of any aftercare warranty etc.

The kicker is to get the refund they seem to need up to 30 business days (6 weeks) to be able to make a payment, after the customer has satisfied all of their requirements.

Purchased in at Samsung Online store for $1,599.

I've already dealt with at least 2 Samsung reps, I'd rather save my energy so that I can write more reviews of the product and warn off potential buyers, given that failure seems inevitable. That said, not all Samsung products are rubbish. I quite like your TVs. Your airconditioners on the other hand...

Extremely disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. It has been serviced two or three times, yet the same problem keeps coming back. Samsung refused to refund my money, claiming it spent more time with the repairer than actually cleaning in my home. I basically threw $2,000 into the bin. This is the worst product I’ve ever owned. I once thought Dreame was bad, but at least I didn’t expect much from them. With Samsung, being a well-known brand, I expected a reliable product and proper service. Instead, I got a piece of junk. Save yourself the frustration—don’t even think about buying this vacuum. If you want to waste $2,000, then go ahead, but otherwise stay away.

Purchased in at Samsung for $1,600.

I purchased the Samsung Bespoke vacuum cleaner a few months ago, and it’s been nothing but a headache. Just a couple of months in, it developed a fault, and Samsung asked me to send it in for repairs. It took two weeks to get it back. It worked for another month or two before another major issue occurred, and again, it was with Samsung for repairs for two weeks. I just received it back yesterday, and now there’s yet another issue—it’s leaking. Samsung is offering repairs again, but at this point, I just want to return it. This vacuum has been nothing but trouble. Poor build quality, constant issues, and a frustrating experience overall. I strongly advise you to stay away from this product. Even i request to have it returned but Samsung refused. So i wasted my money.

Purchased in at Samsung for $1,800.

The Samsung BESPOKE Jet Bot Combo™ AI - VR7MD97714G is a great vacuum/mop cleaner but after six months I am still unable to buy any of the consumable e.g. the Jet Bot Combo™ Mop Pads (4pcs) VCA-RPW97 or the filter and brush pack. Now I am running out of patience as I will not be able to use the cleaner soon because the mop pads are worn. Despite many repeated conversations with Samsung service agents, no-one has any idea when the products will be in stock and the staff, although polite, can never provide any updates or further information about future availability. I gave this product a 1 star rating because no consumable are available and therefore the product will be useless shortly.

Update 26-2-2025: No information from Samsung Service Staff regarding availability of consumables despite numerous conversations and phone calls. My latest conversation yielded no information as to when the consumables will be available. My response: Hi [Name Removed], This is the same old rhetoric I've been receiving for the past six months. This is simply not good enough! I've wasted so much time talking with Samsung's 'service' staff and am not prepared to wait any longer. I know I'm not the only person experiencing this unacceptable delay for indispensable consumables and all Samsung seems to do is fob customers off with the same tactics that you are applying. I'm about to make a complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) as Samsung is in breach of the law regarding, "Unavailable Consumables: If the necessary consumables are not available, this could be considered a failure to meet the consumer guarantees. You may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund or replacement”.

Hi Amy, Thank you for contacting me. The fact is, there are no consumables, other that the dust bags I managed to buy at Harvey Norman, are available in Australia. Many people at Samsung have tried to locate the other consumables I need and made various suggestions where they may be available but upon my exploration, none were available.
