Looks can be deceiving
Camera above average,
I used my A20 to read my BGI monitor unfortunately it failed as not suitable the NFC works on most model samsungs but not the A20, The A20 has a great battery but over all not reliable can take ages to re start after updates or closing down. The factory reset according to a random phone retailer is impossible. I found away to do it. It is a convoluted job I am now seeing if possible to have Samsung help out with a new model.
The worst smartphone I ever had
I always had S series phones, never had any issues. Since I have this piece of sxxx I wish I didn`t have a phone at all. Slow, unreliable, storage is always full and you have no idea what takes it up. Worst purchase I ever made.
Loved this phone but exactly a year old the speaker has stopped working on calls
Still loud on YouTube and ring tone. I'm eldery and hard of hearing so left devastated. Hoping the retail shop of purchase can help
Purchased in November 2019 at Vodafone for A$250.00.

So far no issues took a few photos day and night much clearer than my old IPhone 6 camera great.
Still navigating my way friend set the phone up as he has brand new Samsung for his business.
He blocked deleted apps that I would not use any issues call him I don’t use the phone a lot battery is awesome .

Moisture detect- phone 4 months old STAY CLEAR
Phone purchased in May 2020, paid $299. On June 15 I contacted Samsung, and told them about 'moisture detect' problem.
Contacted them again in August with Volume control not working, they told me I would have to bring the phone in for repair. (I chose to take phone in rather than sending in, as turn around time seemed faster). Drove over an hour to take phone to Samsung shop front, (paid for parking, SD card to save info $49).
I got a call today saying phone has moisture detect problem and needs a total of $300 of repairs- AT MY EXPENSE- as moi...
Stay clear buy different brand
Bought it almost a year ago, what a waste of money. I have the same problem with phone calls, it puts callers on hold then say RESUME CALL. It does this due to screen staying on during calls. Then to top off with a faulty phone i received terrible service from a Samsung female team member in store. Very disappointment with the experience of Samsung. Will not be buying that brand any more.

Pocket dials emergency services 000
I purchased this phone for my son and is faulty in my opinion. It unlocks in his pocket and some how he has managed 2 times to call 000 or emergency services whilst its in his pocket and he is at school. It is definitely not deliberate and the 000 responder can clearly hear its a pocket dial, however how it is happening we have not been able to figure out. We have as a result turned off the phone and switched to an iPhone. Happy to send phone to Samsung to figure out what is happening as it should not be able to dial 000 or emergency in someone...'s pocket. Yesterday when the police turned up to school to check he was okay they looked at the device and the police officer was able to unlock the phone without jonathans face or fingerprint which should not happen. The school was great about it and asked him to take the phone to the IT guys to see what was happening. They could not figure it out either, however by rubbing on leg replicated the issue. It does have a minor crack in the screen due to these phones having terrible screens that are easily cracked, however this cracked in the first week of him owning it and we put it in the best case we could buy and put on a screen protector. The cracks did not change since then. I have since read that the screens are very fragile. He said it cracked in his back pocket from sitting on it. I have no idea how this is happening and how big of an issue it is with the phone, but it should never be able to dial emergency services in someone's pocket.
Worst Samsung I have ever had. I have difficulty answering calls. It cuts out partway through calls. tells me to resume call, then the call his lost. Try returning lost call & does not work. Tossing this & going to Apple.
Purchased in December 2019 for A$248.00.
Best phone I have owned
Great camera and photos, snappy performance and fantastic battery life (2 days on single charge). The sreen is not fhd but it hardly matters, colours pop and everyrhing looks great.
Watching netflix and YouTube is a pleasure. Only thing neg I can say is the sound is a little on the quiet side, which can be a little frustrating when using speakerphone for calls. 9/10 overall
Not happy to have noisy adverts jumping in even during my banking session
I was in the midst of keying in my banking details when a very noisy ad jumped in .These ads are way too many and recently I have had sexy girls that I find very offensive.
Very good phone. Nice and snappy navigation and takes nice photos. May not play the most high-end games on the best settings but most will be fine. Battery is a beast and for $220 bucks this was a bargain.

Great Phone and camera features
I purchased this phone recently and i am satisfied with it so far. Apps are running smoothly and taking photos to share on IG is amazing, great quality. Though, i wish the battery life was a bit longer so thats the downside but overall i am happy with my purchased.

Great overall cheap phone but screen very fragile screen and cracks easily
Great features and very easy to use. This is my 4th Samsung phone but the disappointing thing about it is the screen. It cracks without any force. I have only had this phone for 6 months. I noticed a hairline crack in the screen so got a screen protector. This didn't help as the underlying cracks got worse. Never had any issues with the screen from my other ones and i have always been clumsy with the others and nothing happened to the screen. With this particular model, despite a wallet case and never dropping it, just cracks. Found out it woul...d cost $170 for a replacement screen when my phone only cost me $220. Samsung customer support not helpful at all in resolving or admitting this is an issue with this model despite the repair store claiming they repair these screen several times a week. So obviously an issue.
This is a pretty great phone in my opinion. Had it for almost a year and no problems other than it being a little slow because of all the apps I download. So far so good!!
Purchased in August 2019 for A$100.00.
