Satisfied customer – I find the phone easy to use. I don't understand all of the features, but as a Male. 63yoa. I have enough. I'm very satisfied with durability and display brightness. Pls dont buy this prodcut unless it is for 1 use – In my 3 year of using the phone it has so many times been a problem and the phone battery is especially the only saving grace including the camera, the phone is slow and really bad, apps are slow and are so laggy on the phone and when i got it fixed and somehow got even slower with the additonal that the phone is so slow that it starts to bug with… Read more

wallpapers and the phone has a tedious storage with it only being 32 gb with an iphone 5 have 64 and a 6-7 having almost 100, pls reconsider if you are gonna buy this phone as it has really left a sour taste as it has constant problems,

life of me work them out so I just sell them or give them away. Samsung is actually the easiest phone to use. So, sorry for the not so good review I gave earlier, my stupidity, I just had to learn how to keep up with the times, I've learnt my mistake the hard & expensive way, not to buy any other phone but a Samsung from now on. I'm now in search for my 5th Samsung phone in 25 years, just goes to show how long they last.

I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be, I've had my old Galaxy S5 for four years and was hoping that the A20 would be similar & as easy to figure out. I'm not happy with the alarm, the way you don't get an on going reminder of a missed text, message or missed call & it has the worst ring tones, it's a bit complicated so I need to get some help to show me how to use it, I don't think the manual explains everything I think that Samsung just expects you to know certain things. I still can't figure out how to move my icons around to where I want them. Though the camera is very good & the apps all run smoothly, I was more happy with my old S5 than the new A20

glitchy lines. Told me I was entitled to a refund etc went to the counter and was transferred to a different person. Long story short they refused to refund the phone until it had been sent to Samsung. I sent the phone myself to Samsung in which the guy told me that there was a chip in the LCD. I myself can not find any fractures etc nor can my family members. I have been contacting jbhifi for 4 weeks with still no resolution.With this said I got a quote from a mobile screen repair place and to fix the screen is $260. Which is the price of the phone.

Quite good mobile. Wish they would have the option to remove some apps – * Reliable. * Excellent sound quality. * Quite happy with the mobile. * I wish their was an option with this phone to remove all google and Face book apps. * Excellent text. * Quite good camera, but has some distortion. * The instructions for this mobile is in the mobile. * I wish Samsung would make push button phones, as I prefer them to the smart phones.

I just love it – Never had a problem at all. I got since they came out to the market. I save a lot pictures, files and videos. Apps run ok, so far still the best for me. My husband upgraded his phone that comes after SGA20...which works with 5G and told me his phone is not good as mine. So far A20 still the best. Price is affordable. Show details

Terrible phone- memory problems SD card doesnt work – This was the worst phone... only had it about 2.5 years and the memory is full...bought additional storage in SD card... phone won't recognize . Brian Mthethwa – My 69 year old boss bought this A20 last year September 2020 after I recommended it because I have been using a Samsung smartphone for the past 6 and it has never disappointed me except for a battery life. Anyway, he wiped it with a wet cloth to sanitize it and it went off that very same night. Now to Samsung company: I know and I believe that this company can do better than this. Good budget phone – I've had this phone for almost a year and the only problems I've had is that it's slow to open apps. Camera is fine for what I need, speaker is fine, battery last for ages. For a cheaper phone I think it's great. I did have the water detected message i just changed the charging wire and it was fine. My phone has been dropped but screen has not cracked altho I do have a cheap screen protector. Overall not a bad phone. Show details

I can’t understand the bad reviews – I’ve had my A20 for about 12mths now and I’ve had none of the negative issues mentioned on this site, I think the phone is a ripper. I’m in a dark spot for mobile reception, with any make of phone. When I’m home I’m on WiF calling. Camera is great for the price of the phone. I love my A20 Show details

waste of money – Camera good, display average, NFC, in every other samsung I used works with out a problem. I was told this A20 will read my Blood glucose monitor, I should have been more careful it will not read my Libre BGI with out issues. this phone with out any clear answers, now i am told the phone is locked so I i am having trouble unlocking it. The retailer is attempting to help, Only i am at a stand still. I am hoping the replacement model I hear about is available to replace the A20, Also

Garbage, don't even bother – So after a year of owning this phone it has had an issue with the microphone it won't work on voice recorder and can't answer calls unless its on speaker phone even if its connected to bluetooth headphones but the microphone works when recording video, Auto correct is horrible favouring gibberish words over actual words and every update had made… Read more

it worse like it has to be taught how to spell words again over and over. if I have it in my pocket and its raining it gets the moisture detected warning and needs resetting. and now it's having issues with not charging it'll be left on charge all night only half charged by morning.

Moisture detect- phone 4 months old STAY CLEAR – Phone purchased in May 2020, paid $299. On June 15 I contacted Samsung, and told them about 'moisture detect' problem. Contacted them again in August with Volume control not working, they told me I would have to bring the phone in for repair. to take phone to Samsung shop front, (paid for parking, SD card to save info $49). I got a call today saying phone has moisture detect problem and needs a total of $300 of repairs- AT MY EXPENSE- as moisture is NOT covered by warrenty. HOWEVER, I have not subjected my phone to moisture. I believe the humidity??? may be the cause. And to top it off- They want me to pay $66 for inspection fee and then will return my unfixed phone. I wish I had never purchased this phone. Taking this matter to ACCC.

Pocket dials emergency services 000 – I purchased this phone for my son and is faulty in my opinion. It unlocks in his pocket and some how he has managed 2 times to call 000 or emergency services whilst its in his pocket and he is at school. figure out. We have as a result turned off the phone and switched to an iPhone. Happy to send phone to Samsung to figure out what is happening as it should not be able to dial 000 or emergency in someone's pocket. Yesterday when the police turned up to school to check he was okay they looked at the device and the police officer was able to unlock the phone without jonathans face or fingerprint which should not happen. The school was great about it and asked him to take the phone to the IT guys to see what was happening. They could not figure it out either, however by rubbing on leg replicated the issue. It does have a minor crack in the screen due to these phones having terrible screens that are easily cracked, however this cracked in the first week of him owning it and we put it in the best case we could buy and put on a screen protector. The cracks did not change since then. I have since read that the screens are very fragile. He said it cracked in his back pocket from sitting on it. I have no idea how this is happening and how big of an issue it is with the phone, but it should never be able to dial emergency services in someone's pocket.
