These are ok but there are better products our There! – These Samsung Galaxy Buds are good, but there are way better products in my opinion. I like that it has an ambient mode, it lowers the volume of your music when u r talking which is super useful when ordering your coffee on your morning travel to work. I love that it has a magnet so your headphones stay put in the case. What I don't like about it… Read more
is that you cant connect it to more than one device in a user friendly manner, and it does not connect seamlessly for example from your phone to your laptop. You have to disconnect it from phone and connect to laptop each time u switch between devices. The battery life could also be better. They are not comfortable, I have to adjust it in my ear, then I press pause accidentally They have fallen out many times so not ideal for.sport. I definitely expected better from Samsung!
Horrible, just stop working – After 2 years using my earbuds few times a week, the left one just stop working. It's charging, but doesn't have any sound in any device I connect. I've googled and it seems to be a recurring problem. I've tried all the steps recommended to make it work. But nothing. The lifetime seems really low for the price I've paid to have it with my phone. It's a shame. Show details
Great Earphones but not at full RRP – Bought these to wear outside while tradie-ing. I previously had a cheap knock-off pair from Officeworks which I paid about $28 for and they look and perform nearly identical to a well known, popular brand. Because however the battery would only last an hour or so, and they were a complicated hassle to charge, I decided to upgrade whatever I had… Read more
to, say upnto $300 for a really good set... Between Apple and the Samsung, I went Samsung because I've got at Samsung phone.. Paid got them 50% off Inthink at JBhifi and paid $149 - they were $299 or maybe $249 originally, can't remember, but glad I didn't pay full whack! Ok so first the bad points.. I was expecting to have amazing sound quality based on what I had heard. Nope. They did not seem any better than what I already had which was about a tenth of the price!! Was really dissapointed, felt like taking them back, but it's a hassle. I messed around with the app settings though and then a big improvement came when I fitted the larger plugs (silicon in-ear bits) these seemed to improve things - better volume, clearer, not bad. The sound is good, just not a huge leap from what I had. What IS really good is the amount of outside noise you can let it via a kind of microphone system (ambient noise) this is a really good feature and works well - you get good music AND good ambient sound (including your own voice very clearly, tv etc) and it actually makes it possible to jear both at the same time and not turn into a jumbled mess if you know what I mean. The battery is EXCELLENT, can get by charging it once a week, or if I use it solid 8hrs each day I might get about 3 days? But usually more. I charges up REALLY quick. It connects really easy and in terms of the app, for connectivity and battery percentage - it is awesome, you know exactly how much battery you've with both the earphones and the case at any given time - super clear. I find I have to try and squash them into my ear really well - this is a problem because it can interpret the touch as a 'pause' or 'change track' but this could just be me not holding the edges of the unit properly... Also, I have had them fall out from time time.. I feel MAYBE the Apple style are less likelyto fall out because they are kinda dangling down, hooked? Finally, to answer calls, even if I'm driving (ambient noise setting perfect for this - legal I hope) the phone goes through it excellent. By far the best type of bluetooth handsfree I've wver had handsdown - and this includes luxury car inbuilt systems eg Lexus, Audi, Range Rover and Jaguar - you will not miss having any of these inbuilt systems with this unit - people I speak to tell me they can hear me perfectly, better than with just my phone. Perhaps it is legal to drive with one headphone in?? Don't know, check for yourself but on the jobsite, it is an absolute pearler and I can have my phone charging and use this bluetooth no hassle at all - up to about 10, nearly 15m in a straight line, less through walls. For me I would recommend this unit but I would not pay the full rrp.
Look, feel and sound great. Recommended – Owned for 3+ years and almost daily use has only just recently had a fault. I cracked the left buds shell but have glued it and they still work. - 8/10 Audio. Happy with the lows, mids and highs. - 8/10 Fit. They are comfortable and light. - 10/10 battery. Can last 7 days on a single charge with daily use. Show reply

Pathetic service from Customer Service – Galaxy buds was booked in for not charging. It was sent back saying Its Wax and it working now. Found a Pin bent sent it back. was advised its charging and its working fine. sent it for third time now I have been advised there's physical damage and I need to pay $100 for this. Samsung Highpoint Tech didnt notice physical damage first 2 tech's didnt notice any physical damage. Each time I picked the device at Samsung store and returned it . Show details
Great for music – Buds Plus sit firmly in the ears and comfortable enough for a half marathon run without falling out. The music through Spotify is brilliant and very easy to control. Best of all the battery life is at least 11-12 hrs of used, plus a reserve charge with the case. I also loved the ability of the Buds + to select how I like my ambient level; low,… Read more
medium and high. Great in noisy place like restaurants and pubs, however on my flight to work the Dash 8 engine still sound loud, so noise cancelling does not seem to be effective in this environment.
Bluetooth connectivity so far is very good, only once the earbuds failed to connect during the run.
Only thing I did not like about the Buds Plus is not water proof; not sure running outdoor in winter with heavy downpour will be a good ideas or running on a hot day.
Personally for me I loved using this earbuds for music particularly with Spotify and long battery life. As for longevity not sure yet, my Jabra Elite Sport still going strong over 2 years plus now.
One small step for Samsung – But No giant leap for mankind. After purchasing the original Buds ($199), I was appalled at their underperformance. These should have been recalled for their failure to receive calls that others can hear, and their sound quality, critically compared to the free headphones supplied with your phone, (and coming off second best). After 5 days I cut… Read more
my losses. Unable to return it to the point of sale due to the box being opened, I pleaded with a pawn shop to buy it. They where very unwilling, saying they have a bad reputation and are hard to sell. Finally, I hagglled $70, and knew I was receiving a huge favour. Sucking up my $140 overnight loss, Samsung will love to hear that I gave them a second chance. Reading much about the improvements made with Buds + I blamed myself for poor choice and forked out another $299 for what should have been standard on the originals. I am far from being a rich man, and this was painful. Compared to the "prototype" Buds initially sold to me, a reportedly 38% boost in bass means 38% more than nothing. A round of applause, no not really. Overall, I can now answer my phone calls and be heard (this should be a standard feature) and listen to music knowing every bass player on the planet wasn't captured in the Rapture.Needs improvement

Not a good option if you want to buy earbuds – The only advantage is that it can pair with several equipments. And I got it free while I pre-ordered my Galaxy S20+. I have got an airpods pro, but it cannot work with my Surface laptop. My galaxy buds+ is the only equipment I have to work same time with my laptop and mobile. But sometimes, it fails to transmit the sound properly. Laggings or… Read more
even distorted sound happen quite often, especially you are several metres away from the equipment it links to. And its noise cancelling is almost useless on the streets only if you want to maximise ambient sound, which is also quite uncomfortable. Overall, I don't think this product worth more than $100.

High on Promises, Low on Delivery – I chose these buds based on glowing reviews and couldn’t have been more mislead if I tried. Sound quality: tinny tweets and lightweight base. For music lovers, these buds are underwhelming. There is no richness to the sound quality; I liken the sound quality to tiny Bluetooth speakers used for camping out. Fit: comfortable but not secure. I found… Read more
the buds became very easily dislodged. Eating food, fast paced walking or any exercise, even house work easily dislodges these buds. I would remove the buds before washing up or going to the toilet for fear of the buggers dropping into water because they are IPX2 (hopeless water resistance). If you are an active person FORGET these buds! Suits couch potatoes only. Touch controls: WAY too sensitive. I have fairly big hands and was completely unable to fit or adjust the buds without activating touch controls. A few times, on iOS, I accidentally dialled my first person in contacts. Almost every time I fitted, the last song I played would resume as it activated the player. Conclusion: seriously disappointed for the heavy price tag. Because the buds fall out so often, my right bud became faulty after a fortnight of use. The sound quality is the major disappointment. If you like base and clear tweets, steer clear. The only audio these buds are suited to are audio books and lectures.

Design is great – I use the headphones primarily to listen to online lectures and they don't hurt my ears even when I use them for hours. I don't however recommend them for running because they are not very secure especially when you have sweaty ears like mine. I haven't tried changing the "hooks" to large though so maybe that would help. The ambient sound is good… Read more · 1
and it does the job. I love that I can easily switch to ambient and (passive) noise cancelling because the house is full of noisy kids. I also love the blue design because it's unique.
After trying so many earbud variations, these just work and so well – After buying lots of cheapo ear buds, mainly in ear; ear buds & ear headphones (corded) . They have all had issues, deteriorated, lost performance, been quirky. (charging, sound, responses). Plus playtime is 3 to 5 hours on most, charge time can be slow. They can have background noises and distortions. I could have bought these first off the bat… Read more · 1
and been done with it. The 11H playtime (verified by me) & wireless charging grabbed my attention.
I borrowed a friends set for 2 weeks (used new ear covers) .Couldn't believe how well they worked.
My phone paired up to them effortlessly. Pulling them out of my ears, they disconnect. Put them back in they re-connect. So easy The Wear App was easy to install on my phone and works well. So I bought my own now.
NOTE Get a silicon case to wrap around the original case, that way if you drop it, or add it to your keyring it won't get scratched.
Bottom line - THEY WORK, sound GOOD and are EASY to use! * I’m using a Pixel 2XL * QI wireless charging * You Tube Music - mix of music styles listened to * I run/walk with them. * Phone calls are great/clear. * One in ear at work sometimes when not on calls, so I have background music.
Sound Quality * Very good * Distance of Bluetooth is great - across the house, between brick walls etc , sounds stays clear. * No background noises or interference when playing or silent. Yes they are better sounding out there, but be prepared to pay double price. They are certainly much better than $20 to $80+ other ear buds. Also check what quality you are streaming Music at, Spotify or Google Music may be set to low or normal, try High at home in your wireless connection .
Build * Excellent * Bluetooth 5.0 * Small physical footprint in ear compared to other buds I've seen. * USB C and wireless charging * Cab wear them all day, comfortable. The difference in build is chalk and cheese in some cases between buds I have had. They are solid, case is robust, charging, responding to gestures is great.
FUNCTION * Tap gestures work really well ; single pause, double - next , triple - back , hold R - Vol UP , hold L Vol DOWN. * Putting them into my ears & taking out of my ears is easy. * Wear app is a welcome add on - equaliser, charge level, gestures, find earbuds etc. * Charge time is fast!
Cons * Ambient filter is strange, don't like it much. As they fit in ear so well I don't tend to use it * Auto-resume playback would have been nice * The shiny case can be easily marked (hence the silicon cover)
Super comfortable, long battery life and finally an iOS app – I've been through many true wireless headphones over the past couple of years and have constantly run into issues after a few months with charging or connectivity. Before these I had JBL's and then the original Galaxy Buds. I did like my Galaxy Buds due to the comfortable design and that's stayed the same with these, as I can't stand the hard… Read more · 1
plastic design of Airpods or the like as they never sit right in my ears and have poor isolation. The only issue is I kept facing a multitude of problems, bugs and glitches, none of which could be fixed and after a lot of going back and forth with my retailer and a well-timed discount, I was able to swap to these for just a little more.
A minor detail, but I miss the Aura Glow variant on these new models, it did have a distinctive look. These Buds+ are as comfortable as ever and I can wear them for hours with no issue. Wireless and USB-C charging is still standard which is great as I have wireless chargers all over my house and I notice it charges way quicker than the old Galaxy Buds which is much appreciated. The battery is one of my favourite things about these, it says it lasts about twice as long as the old ones and with my intermittent use I do notice needing to charge the case less often with the same use. The hinge of the case also feels more durable.
Lastly, as I primarily use this with my iPhone, the addition of the iOS app is long overdue given other brands long made apps for both OSes. I'm glad I can now get an accurate battery percentage (of both the case and each earbud), adjust the equaliser (tip: Dynamic sounds great) and customise the touchpad controls. Overall I believe these punch above their weight and I think iOS users shouldn't discount them for AirPods given they've finally done good iOS integration. Plus I don't think any true wireless earbuds have gotten insanely long battery life like this (good headroom for the future given I don't think you can swap batteries once they get old on earbuds). I honestly have nothing to complain about, except the full RRP which is even more expensive than the old ones. These are great earbuds, I just recommend buying them when they go on sale for maximum value.

my new buds plus – after purchasing my note 10 plus i choose the samsung buds plus. i don't regret having them they make my life easy and i just love them. they easily get paired with my phone and laptop, the sound is very clear and the battery life is impressive. Show details · 2
Over priced but a good product – I upgraded my phone and got suckered into adding these to my contract for a small monthly fee. I use them with Spotify (which is mostly all I listen to when I use headphones) and the sound quality is good, better than cheaper alternatives I have used in the past. I haven’t had any problems with connecting them and them disconnecting while using.… Read more · 1
And as for the range who uses the headphones at a far enough distance for them to drop out? So I don’t think we need to worry about that. Like most wireless headphones they’re a bit tricky to keep in your ears, you really have to jam them in. But when you’re buying wireless what more can you expect really?
Worth what you pay....nithing – Came free with my new phone. Poor high frequency response, little or no base, uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. Better off buying a $20 pair from eBay. Steer clear of these! Show details
