Under warranty and less than a year old but Samsung will not repair unless I pay $180 – Phone is less than a year old, was not able to make and receive calls and it was an intermittent fault, so took it back to the Good Guys. After trying every thing to discourage me from sending it back for repair, I was finally able to convince rep that the mobile WAS faulty. unless I paid $180 for a new screen as it had a very small isolated 1mm crack at the very top of the phone. They said it would crack further if they repaired it. I said I was prepared to take the risk, as it was isolated and right at the top, I doubt very much that it would crack further. Then they said it would shatter the whole screen as it gets heated when they put LCD back on. I doubt that very much as it would more than likely be borsilicate glass. Then they said sorry, we don't do partial repairs. Okay, so their 2 year warranty is rubbish and I thought Samsung were great mobile phones and have only purchased Samsung because of their good reputation.
Perfect Smart Phone – I love this product Best camera quality on any smartphone moreover perfect night mode. Quite satisfied with the durability but only lacks Auto bright adjustment particularly in the night. I use this phone for a variety of purposes such as browsing the web, VOIP phase to phase calling, as navigator to find my way around the city. value for money – I replaced my 3rd aging Samsung Gallaxy S3 I believed it could not be bettered I liked that phone a lot it was simple to use tough cheap enough to replace and it had more features than I was ever going to use anyway enough of the old I purchased a Samsung J8 terrific not much dearer than the S3 but a far superior phone and again it is tough cheap… Read more
enough to replace and very easy to set up and use if you enjoy a bargain look into the J8 I am very happy
with its performance ease of use and great features the quality astounds me for the humble outlay of cash.
