Very convienient mobile, great feel – Everything was superb Except after a 1.5 year battery started to play, but i guess thats with every smart phone and after 2 years, tech support said some mother board fault, which is making battery bad, I am still in love with this device, best phone I have ever had. And samsung note 4 headphones are MIND BLOWING. GREAT SOUND QUALITY, STRONG AND DURABLE, COMFORTABLE TOO.  Show details

Best mobile ever! Still available 4 years l ater – In awe of this clever unfailing mobile. As a phone, camera, NOTE TAKER, internet access, emails etc. Everything works and I bought it in 2014/15. Also wireless charging with a charger pad and special cover for the phone. Super clever and reliable technology. Any tiny little issues - just restart and all is well again. Well done Samsung!  Show details

The height of the note series – I will continue buying note 4's whenever I need a new phone, because this is the point after which Samsung stopped with the battery replaceability and micro SD card changeability. It sucks when they want to limit control like that, and the poor engineering choice was shown clearly in the note 7 debacle. It loses 1 star as the radiation from the… Read more

phone is significantly higher than that of the note 2 or original note--but still better than most other phones on the market--and you have to root and rip out a bunch of bloatware crap to get the transmissions tamed so it's not radiating you incessantly (a problem of most later model phones/android versions anyway).

If you source a unit from korea ask for the LG-U rom version as it's easiest to find root software for.

Great phone until the hard disk died before 2 years – Fast and snappy device, great for all leisure activity like videos and gaming. Huge, sharp and colourful screen. unfortunately hard disk died one day and I've lost all my stuff, the phone was switch off itself and no longer able to power up and boot. I wish it didn't happen as i enjoyed the device and it only lasted about 2 years.  Show details

OK for my usage – Bought Note 4 last year on great deal by Goodguys. Though, it has sleek design and normal operating speed. Battery is not so impressive, have to recharge twice in a day for max use. Though, I only browse and use facebook. Had to buy separate power bank. Recommend all but not good as others.  Show details

Almost like a mini tablet – The phone is fairly wide which can make it hard to hold with one hand but the size is great for reading things clearly. The stylus is a great addition but overtime the hole for it wears out and it is easy to lose. Photo quality is good for its time but night photos aren't.  Show details

Oldie but a great phone – This Note 4 is the best value phone I have ever purchased, I use to have the Note 3 until it died on me. The Note 4 is the last Note that easily allows you to change the battery on it, so carry a spare and your good to go for a couple of days. Takes great pix and is not as tall as the newer notes now. I have purchased another second hand one as a… Read more

CLEAR SCREEN, HIGH RESOLUTION, GREAT BATTERY LIFE – Love this phone and as my sight is not as good as it used to be, the high resolution screen is brilliant. Camera quality is great and although it is not as compact as Samsung S4, the larger screen makes up for size of product. I am not a tech savvy person and have found this phone to be easy to use for messaging and phone calls. Show details

Great phone – My Note 4 was delivered to me in Oct-2015. since that time, it works perfect, covering all my needs in telecommunication and quick connections via apps. I've chosen Note 4 for its size and Android platform. it is the latest big phone where a battery could be very easy replaced. During the service, and within a 2-year-warranty had just 2 troubles:… Read more

fast charge was not working (faulty cable replaced) and a pen started to fall out (faulty pen replaced). Samsung team in Joondalup Westfield shopping centre were very helpful.

Best all rounder phone- removable battery expandable memory – This phone was one of the best in the market and with the decision not to allow removable batteries, it was the last note series that has this feature. I am posting this review because I hope Samsung will notice there are customers who prefer this feature and consider putting this back in the future.  Show details

Great mobile with great service – I am genuinely in love with the pen comes with the mobile. One year after my purchase, the mobile started lagging and freezing all the time. I took it to the Samsung experience store and they fixed it in the same day with no charge. I hope that it will last a long time like the Samsung Galaxy S2 I bought (nearly 5 years.).  Show details

Just an overall good phone – I really don't buy into the hype of the newer phones with edge to edge screens so the Note 4 is my favourite by miles - expandable memory and removable battery are obviously big plus points. But more than that, I just love the look and feel of the note 4 - it is sturdy but not bulky and the screen's resolution and bright colours make it amazing… Read more

Note 4 – Worked really well at first, then like every other phone became extremely slow and laggy. However after resetting the phone is faster (still not as fast as it was) now. Battery life is still dismay though - I have to always carry around 2 spare batteries to last through the day  Show details

Good phone but a bit old now – Good phone at the time, but being greater than 3 years, it's life is starting to wither away. The battery life is extremely bad now, and it is getting quite laggy. Absolutely best note so far!!! – I love my samsung galaxy note 4 and I am sad to replace it. I've had it about 1 year (since my partner upgraded) and it's been great, it's easy to use, has a great range of apps and the sound is fantastic. It also has infrared so I can use it as a remote when my kids misplace the remote control.  Show details

Note 4 goes only as long as Samsung's software does not get to by for the Ram – I had my Samsung Note 4 nearly 3 yrs and it went reasonbly well untill the last 2 software updates from Samsung. The software is too cumbersum for the little 3GB ram. Actually this exact issue happend with the note 2 I had when my provider put new software on it. The bloatware seems to grow everytime you update it. Useless provder apps become… Read more

more and more. At the moment I can only the Note4 ias a hotspot. Anything else I do on it, will cause a reboot. I have to put it in the freezer for 5 mins to reset it. Then I can recharge it. Then I have to put it back in the freezer and then I can use it as a hotspot. Hopeless I might say, but at least it is a survival strategy . I now ordered a Note 5..jst because I need to go o/s and have no time to invest in another brand. Hopefully this Note 5 will last till I figured out the next brand. i will have this one rooted to get rid of bloatware which hopefully helps with speed and lifetime.. Bottom line ..it worked fine for a year. Then had some battery issues. Ordered 3x a new battery and separate charger. Then the software issue started. Lifetime has been 2.5 yrs. I am an intensive user and use it as a pamphlet because it has a such a good size. At the time of my review -June 2017- you can still buy it online. If you use a lot of apps , including FB, WhatsApp,Messenger etc (using half your battery capacity) this mght not be the right thing for you.

Great phone – The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is very easy to use and since newer models have come out, this has seen a significant price drop. Touch screen is very smooth and responsive. Another handy feature is the torch light widget that can turn on the torch with one touch. Highly recommend this product.  Show details

Not the newest, but just as competitive – Just upgraded from the Note 3 & didn't feel the need to go past the 4. Speedy enough CPU, brilliant screen, camera & video definition. charging/operation, so no negative there.

It comes in dual or single Sim, International or Wotld Regional versions too.

But best of all, it comes with a very usable Stylus, with software to back it up.

No doubt it's competitors (& samsung themselves), will try to sell you the next 'must have' gadget, but I've found my best phone/camera/business tool for all my needs.

With component quality to last another 2 to 3 years, what a shame they're as rare as hen's teeth!

Freezing Error – Note 4 is one of the good phones I ever used, the battery life is not as good as other phones, My phone got freezing error after few minths of use. The screen freezes after every restart and to fix it, every time I have to take out the battery, then it freezes after 5-10 minutes again, Samsung should consider seriously about issues regarding its top of the line products  Show details

Lagging issues, low battery life – I purchased this phone 8 months back. From day one I am suffering because of its poor battery. battery. It heats up when ever you use the processor and drains battery like anything. In effect, you'll be worried about the battery for the whole day. Even though this phablet has 3gb Ram but it lags so much that no high end phone does. With this amount you can get 2 other smart phones. I have been using since 8 months and i regret that why i bought this phone.

Great phone – Have had this phone for about 2 years now and has worked extremely well from the start. Have not had any problems with it at all. A decent phone but too slow and heavy - Note 3 is better! – Pros: The Note 4 has is good for Note taking. The GPS works reliably. Screen is great! Camera is solid. Cons: Screen is big and has lots of bells and whistles but it drains the battery very quickly. I need to put the phone on power saving to ensure it lasts more than 6 hours use.....but power saving cuts performance and as a result the Note 4… Read more

performs slowly. It defeats the purpose of having 3GB ram and super fast CPU when you have to throttle it just to get it to last more than half a working day.

Deal Breaker 1: the Power button is opposite to the Volume button. So I cannot turn the volume down without turning the phone off!!!! Argh!!! Also, I can't turn the phone off without turning up the volume!!! What happened to putting the power button at the top or at least so it is not opposite each other. Such bad design. What were they thinking?!

Deal Breaker 2: The phone has a metal body and is seriously HEAVY. I nearly took my eye out when I was lying down in bed, watching youtube and the phone slipped and fell on my face (the corner of the phone hit my eye socket, just left of my eye ball and I got a bruise and a gash) Imagine if it had hit my eye ball.....??? With phones are getting lighter, eg iPhone, why would you want something as heavy as a brick!!

All in all a decent phone but has some serious niggles. My wife has a Note 3. If you still want a Note phone - get the Note 3, it is a seriously light phone and the speed is much better because it doesn't have to accommodate for a battery draining screen.

Samsung, with your exploding phones and house burning washing machines, your reputation is starting to drain faster than your phone batteries do....

Switched from apple iphone for this crapware!!! – This is no stars, this phone is a con! Phone finder does not work! Dozens of apps that can't be deleted, I paid good money for this phone, it should be free if its filled with crapware. I wouldn't go back to apple either. It seemed promising and has some likable features but I got coned by the glowing reviews all over the net. To top it off this phone started billing me by paypal without notification.
