Love this phone! – This phone has nearly everything that you could even imagine! I reckon that Google (Android) is way better than Apple products. The phone is small and a reasonable size fit for your pocket, that is one reason why it is called the Samsung Galaxy Pocket. Fast and good software for Android.
Hardy little phone. Very user friendly – Nice and easy to use. Good size memory, fairly good camera. Have dropped on concrete several times (without case) and suffered no damage.
Galaxy y – This phone was on special and was very cheap so I suppose you can't expect to much. Although I am pretty happy with it. My main two issues have been the fact you can't change the font size. I am not a young person so it makes it very difficult to read. There is no option to expand the text like the oppositions magnifying glass look or as I said… Read more
prior, increase the font. So I need to put on my glasses each time to read.
Other smaller issues are the text entry screen is just a little small for my big fingers, but using the swipe method it is not to bad. The talk reception is average, I live in a spot where it has a weak signal and often the phone drops out. I have had this before with other phones but not quite as bad.
Is these small items were reviewed by the manufacturer it would be a excellent phone for the price, but as is I can only say okay.
With the technology being so advanced in phones now, all should do the job for all age of users, not just people with twenty twenty vision. small light, very well priced no changing of font size to view or right, reception could be better
Have had no issues with it as of yet – Got this phone free with mums contract, has a good 4 gb memory on it, but it is on android 2.3.6 which i do not think can be up-dated unfortunately (someone correct me if i am wrong please, i do not use the phone i only pay the contract on it but have used it for a few weeks) mum seems happy with it except for the fact that when her tablet broke she could not install "word on" Good 4 gb of internal memory and a sd card slot Running android 2.3.6
Inexpensive but fully featured – Got this as a replacement for my iPhone 3 after it broke and did not want to stick with the overpriced brand. and did not want to spend a lot on a new phone again. The phone is a great size just fits neatly in to palm of your hand, and is still easy to hold operate. Has a great range of apps and widgets on the Google play & Samsung app sites. … Read more
Screen size good with no problems reading text on it.
Fantastic sound from what appeared to be a small speaker.
I was so happy with it when my son need a new mobile i got another for him as he had used mine and was glad to switch from his Nokia after using mine.
Would recommend this phone to anybody, when i look at upgrading again i will be sure to stick with Samsung. Mostly everything is a all over great phone for all ages and entry to mid-level phone users Camera only 2mp so not the best then that's ehy i bought a camera for anyway.
Not Good – I tried two of these phones, the first one had sounds like it was under water. The person on the receiving end heard this as well. You could not hear the person at either end,, only this noise. I took it back and tried another, the same thing happened. It also happened with the duos y I liked every thing about the phone. But the internal speakers Internal speakers faulty
