very professional service and great products. Have purchased from here a few times and nil issues, and if there were I know it would be handles extremely professionally. Show details · 1
Not extremely happy – Purchased a like new phone, spent a few dollars more to ensure phone would be in good condition. Approx ($490) Phone looks like in as new condition, however after spending a great deal of time transferring my information off old phone. Phone becomes extremely over heated and slow. Far worse than my previous phone. Requested information on my… Read more
options with customer service, best they could do was have me send it back. I have a hectic life with limited time and cannot go without some sort of connection. I will have to go to a repairer and pay more money to have repaired.
Hard to transfer – I found it hard to control the phone in the area of Apps and when I transferred from one phone to another some of the apps did not show up.
Samsung repair – I'm very disappointed that phone was returned without the screen protector after the repair. Samsung refused to provide a replacement protector. I had to follow up each and every step throughout the repair stages and had to wait more than a week. Show details

Samsung S22 Superb – I am so pleased with this phone. It operates fast and smoothly. Has plenty of storage. I currently have over 400 songs installed. Well done Samsung. Show details · 2
Piece of garbage – Samsung S22 is a rubbish product. I will never buy another Samsung product again. Network keeps dropping off inside the house and calls get disconnected. I tried to reach samsung service but these guys are bunch of jokers. They are not here to help you but to keep fooling with you and waste your time. I had to send this phone 2 times to… Read more
customer service and they get returned back with some useless repairs. See attached photos These guys are nothing but bunch of idiots. The person who is running operations for Samsung Australia is a nutcase.

S22 DO NOT BUY. Not fit for use intended – We bought these Samsungs 22 last year. We bought 3 of them. We have had nothing but issues. The phones drop out constantly . Data doesn’t connect when your inside. We were told the S22 we so much better, quicker etc than. The S8. Our very old S8, are much quicker, and hold their battery's charge. These phones are a piece of garbage. And not worth… Read more
the money we paid. The issues we have on ALL of the S22 are phones overheat, battery drain, Bluetooth issues, issues with some apps, half the time from we dont get messages , despite being plugged in occasionally doesn't charge, screen refresh issues, sound problems, we cant hear on speaker. Phone can be right next to us and not ring, and no txt message notification. Half the time doesn't even show as a missed call from someone, We also have an iphone in the house. No issues with this, or reception issues. The phone are spread across 3 networks. . So its not a reception issue as the iPhone works well. Under australian consumer law All 3 phones are not fit for use intended. We DO NOT recommend this phone buyer beware. The phones has been in to Samsung repair centre multiple times, and they say there is nothing wrong with 2 of them. 1 has been refunded. All 3 ohones have exactly the same issues. We have had Samsung phones for 20 years never had an issue. We will definitely be taking this further. These S22 phones are a piece of ……

Excellent flagship phone at a reasonable price – There is no such thing as the perfect mobile phone.....and once you think you have it, a new model comes out. This is my 6th Samsung S series and it doesn't disappoint. I have had the phone for over a year now and it's fast, the camera and in-phone photo software is fantastic and easier to use than iPhone's IOS (maybe with the exception of the new… Read more · 1
iPhone 15, IOS 17) and I actually have 2 sims in the phone for two different numbers and the flexibility and easy of set up for just about anything is very smart and appreciated. Samsung really know their stuff with the S series, especially. The design and workmanship is really excellent. No need to go for S23 or the Ultra, just get an S22 refurbished off eBay. It's really terrific. Any bad points...? Well, yes. Battery life is good and lasts all day with heavy email /phone and SMS and video use (no gaming) BUT iPhone 13 and S23 lasts longer. Everything else is excellent, including being able to assign the side button to anything you want. I choose camera open when double clicked, so by the time you lift up the phone to take the shot, it's ready. AND (unlike Apple) you get 3 cameras in the base model and the low light capability is superb.
Faulty phone. Terrible after sales service – We bought a new S22 in June from Samsung Parramtta (Sydney), and within 3 months, the battery and charging socket had issues. We sent it to Samsung for warranty service, and when it returned, the screen protector was removed, leaving a scratch on the screen. When we raised this concern, they offered to replace the screen, but we insisted on a new… Read more
phone, as we hadn't expected such issues within 4 months of purchase. The customer service representative was unapologetic and suggested sending the same phone back. This was our first direct experience with Samsung, and it's been over 2 weeks without a resolution, leaving us frustrated with what seems like a dishonest and unreasonable approach.
Update: sending the phone back unrepair.
This is the Samsung answer after 3 weeks.
Thank you for your time with Samsung Electronics Australia. It has been some time since we have spoken with you regarding your Samsung Galaxy S22 5G 128GB - Phantom Black (SM-S901EZKAATS) despite our attempts to contact you. As we are still awaiting your decision, we will be placing your case on a temporary hold. We will send the device unrepair. Kind Regards,

I regret trading in my S10 for this S22 – I upgraded to the S22 after having the S10 for many years - and I'm sorry I did. If I hadn't traded in the S10, I would go back to using it in preference to the S22. Inititally I got gmail notifications but now it's not until I open the phone and go into gmail that it tells me I have emails! Not helpful! Same with google alerts that I initially… Read more
got but no longer do. I never changed my settings so why do I no longer get notifications? I've tried every fix I could find online but none have made a difference. The battery life was much better with the S10. Using Samsung Flow with this phone is very hit and miss as sometimes it works but often it doesn't. And the biggest disappointment with the S22 is the camera. My photos on the S10 were far superior than with the S22. This phone has not impressed me at all.

Battery drains quite quickly – Only a month old and yet the battery doesn't last a day on my normal use. I have an old Galaxy A72 that lasts a lot longer than it's newer and more expensive cousin. Show details

Switched from Apple and so far am regretting it – Only had it for a few weeks so maybe it will get better but so far has been buggy and have had to reboot the phone several times. US phone numbers in contacts have changed to Australian prefixes so I can't text them and their names do not show up as a contact. Searching for tech issues online hasn't helped on public or samsung sites and tech… Read more
support on the phone are too busy and I have to call back. This is pretty surprising given how solid Apple's customer service is. Have also been unable to send an MMS, have had several issues pairing bluetooth devices, fingerprint is temperamental so on the whole I'm afraid I've made a mistake switching...

Know better, choose better.
Excellent Phone, Great capabilities that are right up there with the best. However – Great phone but only has a 3590 mah capacity battery where I believe the s22+ and s22 Ultra have 5000mah batteries. the other 2 variants have other options the base s22 has. I wish they charged a little more for a 5000mah battery. Also disappointing is the fast charging only supports 15w. I can't complain as I bought it on a 50% off promotion… Read more · 6
via Optus. So the value is there would I pay nearly $1300 for this phone, no I would of bought an Oppo at the $650 mark
This S22 requires being on charge every night if you use wifi and blue tooth, I don't make many calls on it.
Great phone. Just can't make or receive calls. Poor reception issues reported widely on Google – The S22 will not work in poor to medium reception areas. Update 27/10/22. Having spent another hour chasing Samsung I had a new case opened up with the promise of a call back (the first time I would get a call). No call has occurred and I receive another disjointed email from Samsung who obviously don't read the issue or check the previous cases… Read more
closed without a comment, update or a call. I don't know what has happened with Samsung but their customer service is robotic and terrible - akin to an insurance company that does everything to avoid paying. I have now switched back to Apple and always found them to repair or replace without question and without having to repeatedly ask. Samsung's service centres are like hen's teeth - scarce. I am being asked to send my phone in for an assessment. The second time in two weeks and there is about a 10 day turnaround. I am now using an iPhone Se 2022 with not reception issues. The matter has been referred to fair trading. This phone has never worked properly since new and is not fit for purpose.
UPDATE 26/10/22 - having not heard back from Samsung I found my case, including my request for a refund, closed without any comment. Samsung has an issue with the phone being unable to manage reception strength of 2 bars or less. If you have good reception (like Samsung has in its test area) then fine. The phone is great. I had a S10, iPhone 7, 11 and SE and they all managed well with two bars. Swap the sim out into the S22 and it has 'no service' or no bars or at best one bar. I am over this, hours lost in going through the tests over the phone, sending the phone in to find it rated 'perfect' (as per my comments below - Google 'S22 poor reception' - a heap of issues). This is a generic phone issue not isolated to me. Today, over the phone, Samsung advises they emailed me (no email) and then closed the case without making a comment. No phone call as requested. I am now supposed to send the phone back for a second time where they will hold the phone for ransom and only then decide "how much of a refund I should get" - despite this phone not working from day one. They want me to submit another technical case which I presume, will be like the first three frustrating cases - closed without comment, no call back no action and more hoops. I have lost patience and now referring this to the ombudsman. Samsung wants to operate outside of Australian consumer law where a customer is entitled to a refund when a product is not fit for its intended use.
Previous comments I live close to the City but despite being in a 4g/5g full coverage my S22 struggles to achieve 1 bar strength in my home or outside on the balcony. No problem previously with a S10. I gave up and bought an iPhone and I started getting 2 to 3 bars in most areas of my home where I use the phone 90% of the time. S22 sent away for repair and obviously tested under perfect conditions. Zero problems detected. I receive the phone back - same problem. If I stand on a balcony I get 1 bar but people still can't hear me. I get zero service inside the home. I put the sim back in the iPhone - 2 bars inside the home. If this has zero reception problems (according to Samsung repairs) then it is a generic fault with the reception capabilities of the phone - it needs a medium strength signal to have a chance of working. Outside no problems. Inside no chance of making a call. And there is no service in Canberra. My phone was gone for 8 days - making it impossible to run a business. I had to buy a new phone but glad I did. I'm getting calls I previously missed and the neighbours don't hear every phone conversation as I don't need to lean over the balcony to be heard.
Update from last week. UPDATE - I just Googled "s22 poor reception". The Samsung S22 does have an issue with poor reception. See for yourself. I cannot use this phone for the most basic of functions within my home - making and receiving calls. I have wifi calling turned on and it makes no difference. Both my S10 and Iphone 7 and now iPhone Se 2022 model have significantly better reception. I am in my legal rights to demand a full refund. If you do not agree then I will refer to the Ombudsman.

Camera quality is AAAA++++++ – I have recently upgraded my phone from the Samsung S10 to the new Samsung S22. I purchased the green and it is gorgeous! It was very easy to transfer my data from my old phone to the new one, simple and easy. The phone is very easy to personalise, and to use in general. It has some new features, such as the fingerprint id which is great. The… Read more
screen is super clear and bright, I am very happy with my purchase. The camera quality os the best I have ever had in a phone and I enjoy using it more than my camera. It is very fast and responsive on the internet and calling and texting are a breeze. Call quality and sound is top level too. I am very happy that I upgraded my phone to this new model, well worth it. Great for music too using the Samsung Ear buds.
Great phone value for money – Cant be better value, functional, great size and does everything thats needed in a modern mobile phone and takes photos to the next level with easy to use edits, from night shots to landscapes it easy and thats what sell it.
Great phone but with slight defects – The phone is great fast and clear the only defect I can find is when you lay it on flat surfaces the camera sticks out at get scratched, the phone price can be a little bit much. Show details
Great little phone, unfortunately the battery life was not what I expected – Camera quality is amazing , phone is easy and fast to use no matter what the task, great little phone but battery life didn't last as long as I would have hoped Show details
Great Phone – The S22 is a great phone and it's fast and has an awesome camera set up But it SUX that it doesn't have an SD card for extra storage :-( that is why I have only giving it a 4 star review Show details
