Beware of updates, they will stop a lot of apps working. I've tried all their solutions and yet they don't work. Complain about it to them ot review it in the negative and they'll give you solutions that don't work and force product review to delete negative reviews about it.
Excellent service and great price. Fabulous phone, A grade but looks brand new. This is the second phone I have purchased from Phonebot and it won't be the last. Highly recommend this company. Show details · 1
Dropped from waste down on carpet floor with phone case- got a massive crack through the middle that made the bottom of phone completely unusable- cost $500 to replace screen. Phone was brand new. Dropped it again with protective phone case and screen protector - cracked AGAIN. Better off getting phone that is not as heavy and doesn't have a curved screen!!! It cracks everytime I dropped it no exceptions. Show details
S23 is even worse than Nokia – The S23 ultra is the worst phone I've ever had and I've had a Nokia! Everything sux about this phone. Shocking battery life, takes ages to charge, will not charge from a pad like all other Samsung phones do. Super duper slow! Going on line is sooooo slow when it decides to work. Photos look drab. My list is long but I have to go now. S23 SUX!! Show details
Refurbished s23 – Arrived super fast, in great condition and works well. Will buy all phones this way in future Show details
Very poor UX choices + faulty camera out of the box requiring me to post it away for two weeks – The camera quality is worse than my five year old Oppo Find X2 Pro. You cannot turn off most 'image enhancements' and third party camera apps aren't allowed to make use of the full sensor. The camera itself rattles, which can be heard in videos. Samsung support said I'd have to post it in and go two weeks without a phone to get it looked at. Video… Read more
recording is wobbly because of this fault, so I still carry my Oppo around for any video recording at events. There's no option for VIP contacts to override silent mode, as Samsung removed that from the stock Android build. The UI changes in One UI 6 have made it harder to use the drawer feature. If I set my data to use an eSIM it also tries to send messages over it even though configured the opposite. It continually prompts me to make a Samsung account. There appears no way to wirelessly screen mirror without using DeX, which is not what is wanted. It won't stay connected to a wifi network with no internet if you set a static IP (required for a lot of technical work such as testing new network deployments). All in all, it's a newer and more expensive phone, but with worse picture and video quality and a slower and more frustrating user experience. Hanging to get an Oppo Find X7 Pro now and definitely won't be giving Samsung another shot for another five years (last one was a Note 8 in 2017)!

Frustrating on simple things – It's such a frustrating phone to use Had such high hopes. Paying so much money for top end premium phone. When everything I do to answer a call put volume up screenshot is just so difficult. Need at least 3 or 4 attempts. To do anything annoying screen moves when you just wanted to stay still. And with samsung paying so much money and every little thing is a extra Show details

A great phone – My previous smartphone was a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB. I purchased the extended warranty, and as it turned out, was able to use this warranty to swap over to the S23 Ultra 512GB at no cost to me. It should be of interest to many why my S20 failed as knowing may help you to get more life out of virtually any smartphone that uses a Lithium… Read more · 1
Ion battery. With the S20, I would charge it while sleeping on a wireless charger. And during the day, I would typically have it on a wireless charging stand, which allowed me to view the screen easily while I was at my computer. So the phone was being held at 100% charge virtually 24/7. Lithium Ion batteries don't like this, and after a couple of years, the battery swelled up and the back starting peeling off. This isn't my first Galaxy to have a battery fail. It also happened on my S7 and S8+. Through a friend that is somewhat of an expert when it comes to Lithium Ion batteries, I've learned that there are better ways to treat these devices that should on average greatly extend the battery life. If possible, charge only to say 80% or 90% rather than full charge each time. Don't let the battery discharge below 20%, and charging at around 30% is even better. There is more to this story such as keeping the device cool, particularly when at a high state of charge. But then also are the constraints of going about your daily life without constantly pandering to a Lithium Ion batteries state of charge! I ended up unplugging the wireless charger at my computer so my phone only charges during my sleep and not during the day.
The phone itself is the best I've ever owned. My sister was so impressed she bought the exact same model. In turn her son also bought one. I own many Garmin fitness gadgets, which it seems work best with Android phones. Not just that, but I've never been one to use Apple devices of any kind, so sticking with Android / Samsung is a no brainer for me. One of the reasons I got the 512GB model was so that I could record video while using my phone as a dashcam on my ebike. I'm able to go for rides for an hour daily, not having to move videos to a larger drive for many weeks at a time. I realise there is a larger model with 1TB, however I've never felt the need to go that big.
Samsung's BIGGEST SCAM!!! – Tradein offer of old mobile is a rip-off. I traded in my old phone which was in pristine working order. They took a $225 deposit which would be refunded to me, once my old phone was verified in good working order. But they assessed it as not in good order and only repaid me $1, instead of the $225. This is absolutely bogus and they are ripping… Read more
people off. I have been a long time customer of Samsung and thought this would be a reputable tradein offer but I am horrified at this blatant scam. DON'T TRADE-IN YOUR OLD MOBILES, THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF IT!!!!

Big no on Galaxy Calendar and Notes – If you are an ex-iPhone user and enjoyed the Apple Calendar and/or Notes format, then the Galaxy ‘Calendar and Notes’ will frustrate the hell out of you. The Apple format runs rings around the Galaxy/Android, and this is coming from an Apple hater. I've had my S23 Ultra for 9 months and find the ‘Calendar’ hard to read and frustrating. As for the… Read more
‘Notes’, trying to highlight text to add colour, yikes! I often find I have deleted it instead. Very clumsy. As for undoing the delete, how? I wish I could. Google only has instructions on undeleting for 'Messages' not ‘Notes’. I still prefer the freedom of Android over Apple IOS; however, the Galaxy does try my patience.

A beautiful and easy to use phone – I've had both android and iPhones previous to this purchase and I can honestly say this is my favourite phone ever! I purchased the Ultra because it has the S pen which I personally find very useful (especially when playing games on a flight and you have no room to miss!) I use the S pen for writing notes when I'm out and about. You can definitely… Read more · 1
get by without it but I use it a lot. I like to travel and take a lot of photos, plus I take photos for my business. The camera on this phone is unbelievable. Every time someone uses my phone to take a photo with it, they always comment on how amazing it looks. It's super easy to use the timer and you can take photos easily either landscape or portrait and there is also the option to take the photo with a side button (easier for selfies) There are so many different options for cases which I need as I'm clumsy and drop my phone a lot. The one I have has protected my phone every time I've dropped it. The only negatives I have about this phone is the lack of headphones included. I know I'm old school but I like headphones with a cord which you can only buy through places like amazon or ebay. And the compatible Samsung ones are quite expensive in my opinion and I won't take the risk of losing one and then having to spend another $200 plus to buy a new pair. All in all this is a brilliant buy and I'm extremely happy with my purchase

Know better, choose better.
Great phone – It's what I needed for taking photos, gaming, watching moveies, work, and checking out social media sites. Far superior than any iPhone! Compared to s22 ultra though, I wish they did not downgrade the front camera's resolution 40mp.. down to 12mp. Otherwise, great phone! 1 full charge lasts me a whole day and if I do need a top up, it doesn't take long to reach 50% of charge. Show details · 1
Great phone – The S23 Ultra impresses with its cutting-edge features and sleek design. The camera system delivers stunning photos with its advanced sensors and AI enhancements. The high-refresh-rate display ensures a smooth experience, while the powerful processor handles multitasking effortlessly. The battery life is commendable, lasting throughout the day.… Read more · 1
However, the device's hefty price tag may have budget-conscious consumers questioning the decision to purchase. Overall, the S23 Ultra is a great device that excels in performance and photography but comes at a premium. Would highly recommend
A great phone at a very good price – I purchased this phone online as there was a very good sale. I enjoy using this phone as it has many features which I use regularly other than just the camera or making phone calls. I enjoy downloading music and playing offline which is so simple to do. To use the camera which has many features again very easy to use but I like the panoramic… Read more · 1
feature for group photos and landscapes. The camera works extremely good in low light as well. To be able to download files and print is another very easy function to do on this phone. I like the pen as well. Comes so useful for signing documents and sending online. Overall this is the best phone I have ever used. A really good battery life as well. Very important for travelling. The camera case was purchased separately.
Perfect upgrade – Love he new S23 Ultra. The Camera Quality is amazing. I almost dont need my big DSLR anymore. The zoom is amazing and night camera has fantastic resolution. The display is crisp and clear and easy to read. Battery lasts most of the day, even when using for Video and streaming. Show details · 1
Solid phone! – The Samsung S23 Ultra will appeal to those who appreciate its squared edges and full-screen functionality. It includes the user-friendly S Pen for a light and easy experience. Seamless transfer from your previous device is achievable with SmartSwitch. However, it's worth noting that the phone's weight is relatively high compared to other models. The cameras are user-friendly, capturing clear images with a variety of editing functions. Show details · 1
Samsung s23 ultra – Fantastic phone easy to use. Downloading apps made so easy . The best camera on a phone I've ever used and the battery life is excellent. I'd happily recommend it I'd buy it myself again Show details · 1
Another overpriced samsung device – My actual Phone is The Huawei P40 Pro, still goin strong. My Employer supplies work phones and i was offered a choice of 1 of 2 phones, S23 Ultra SD or Pixel 7 pro, I decided on the S23 ultra, take home and use as I please phone. That didn't last long. Without getting into this and that, ill just be honest. I was hoping the s23ultra would live… Read more
up to all the hype and actually be a real improvement over the latest junk they have released but as usual it falls well short, Not the best smartphone on the market and does not have the best camera, not worth any where near the ridiculous retail prices. it's a rebranded s22ultra. Samsung software is still buggy and annoying a huge turn off for me, battery life is still no real improvement, daily charges. the camera's are inconsistent, it can take good images in the right lighting conditions but as soon as the light starts to fade images aren't great, nothing special, what you expect, over saturated blown out unrealistic images relying heavily on software to make them somewhat appealing, it's not working, you'd expect images and video would somewhat improve but there is really no major improvement over previous Samsung phones, still doesn't impress or even compare to some mid range smartphones.
Technology when it comes to smartphone cameras do not have a lot of room for improvement apart from using bigger sensors and higher MP which doesn't mean quality will improve, it's a marketing strategy used to sell the latest junk. Smartphone cameras are as good as they will ever get until new tech comes along and that's gonna be a while.
A mate of mine picked up a used but in good condition S22 ultra Snap Dragon model online for $400, which is rare as hens teeth in Australia because Exynos garbage is commonly sold here, and he will flog it off for a profit, it is said the s23 ultra has a better camera than the s22 ultra so we compared the 2 phones and I can tell you for a fact thats not the case when looking at the images on 65 inch tv there is literally no difference between images, camera quality is identical almost all of the time, the only difference were inconsistencies either with light or darker images, crop in and the detail is garbage.
The Honest truth is the S23 Ultra is another overpriced regurgitated Samsung device, nothing new, not worth anywhere near $2500, that's just a blatant rip off, honestly wouldn't pay anymore than $700 and its probably not even worth that. The S23 Ultra has a good responsive display, it makes phone calls and sends text, you tire from the gimmicks, the S pen gets little use, you even forget its there, although i will say its a good S pen. S23U is a large phone and because of its size and weight you cannot comfortably fit the phone in your pocket, you literally have to carry it everywhere by hand. The actual fact that the S23 Range is not a great seller tells you all you need to know and Samsung's software makes it a phone I do not enjoy using
Now using the Pixel 7 Pro. Not perfect but a clean android experience that offers a better hardware and software and user experience, i use the camera more than I ever thought I would because the photo quality and processing is outstanding. I'm considering buying a pixel 8 pro for myself. Samsung have never left the same impression on me. Samsung used to make decent products, not anymore.
If you are thinking about buying a new smartphone you should consider the pixel S23 Ultra, Don't waste your Money.

GPS Antina Issue and Poor Battery – Bought S23 Ultra from Samsung online store, GPS Antenna was not working So returned with in 5 days. They offered repair not a brand new replacement. So I opted for refund.. now waiting for refund.. it’s very hard to get refund from Samsung. So many calls , emails but still didn’t receive any refund. Show details
Amazing phone. Better than 14 pro Max or S22 – Prior to purchasing this s23 ultra I had an iPhone 14 pro Max. I found the iPhone 14 pro Max an improvement on the s22 Ultra that I had before that and I was a little bit hesitant to purchase the s23 Ultra as I was read in the reviews that it was not much better than the s22 Ultra. I was incorrect, the 23 ultra is a big improvement in battery life… Read more · 2
and also in camera on the s22 Ultra. It also seems to offer a lot more features than the iPhone 14 pro Max. I feel now Apple only has very small improvements on each of their new models. I also was missing the 10 times zoom on the iPhone 14 pro Max which I now have on my s23 Ultra. I'm thrilled with the s23 Ultra so far and have worked out how to use it with imessage so that I receive messages through imesssges relayed to me via my MacBook Pro and I'm very happy. A great phone.
Scam phone by Samsung – The biggest Favour Samsung did to me is after taking my money (Over $2000 for S23 ULTRA), delivered the Phone (or at least that’s how they see it). Had it for less than 2 weeks when the screen went black. Sent it for repairs, was given a time frame of 3 working days and after 4 weeks and multiple follow-ups they said it cannot be repaired.… Read more
however, we will give you a new phone in 2 days and after 2weeks (and again Multiple follow ups) I am advised to send my invoice of payment and they will access if they will give the phone or just refund the money (which is still pending as we speak). Total Time Frame 3 months 18 days so far Simple logic by Samsung "IT's EITHER MY WAY OR MY WAY"

A phone that can do no wrong that is fantastic at everything – I had the opportunity to get the Samsung S23 Ultra 512GB (SM-S918BZRFATS) through my wife's workplace and order it from Samsung direct. My only disappointment is that I selected red as one of the special colours and its almost orange/salmon. Having always had Samsung phones (every 4-5 years) including Galaxy Note as I love big screen phones, I… Read more · 1
can only say that this phone is absolutely Amazing at everything.
There is no lag as it has plenty of ram at 12G. The screen is amazing quality at just FHD setting and as bright as you would want or need a phone to be, and the pictures it takes including ones of the moon using 100X zoom are the best I have ever seen on any phone camera. Day or night pics come out great. It is capable of 8K video recording. Front camera is 12MP. Samsung have already provided several updates since having this phone from launch in Feb 2023 and each update has also improved features on its cameras. Battery life is great as I don't use the phone much so it lasts me 2 days sometimes 3 days as I don't live on my phone like a lot of people do. There is a battery saver setting that only lets your phone charge to 85% and increases your battery life (so they say).
I don't actually use the S-Pen as I have arthritis in key fingers. I purchased protective case and screen protector, as well as protective lense covers and have no impact on picture quality.
I am well aware that the customer service from Samsung has really gone past terrible some years ago, so hoping I have no problems as I did with my Google Pixel 7 pro, with the camera lense cracking after only a month.
Now would I pay $2250 for ANY phone such as this S23 Ultra Beauty? Never. I usually buy a phone model that is being replaced and on significant discount that would be maybe $800 or less, but the opportunity to get this at half price was too good to let pass, especially after the failure of my Google Pixel 7 Pro.
It really is the best phone anyone could want, and there is nothing lacking, nothing it cant do, the best camera the world has seen to date on a phone, and it is extremely feature-rich. I do love this phone so much.
