Great idea, but not a saleable product – Loved the first few months of this phone. Loved the versatility. After a few months it stopped opening to flat screen and at 10 months of age,it opens about 10-15 degrees short of a flat screen. About a month ago the fordable screen also started bubbling. Ita a great idea, but the technology can not support at this stage. Show details
screen damage is par for the course – I had this for six months and the inside screen had been bubbling and peeling off for several weeks then went black. I was told it was not a warranty issue however they offered a one time screen replacement for a subsidised $250. One year later I dropped the phone and same thing happened, no subsidy this time and I'm cutting my losses. I did… Read more
love the phone but it is too fragile to use out and about which negates its purpose. Fine for couch and bed, but then you don't need the fold.
Perfect for all applications – Camera could be improved for night time use but through the day, couldn't be happier with the quality of photos Display can be adjusted to personal liking which is extremely helpful and easy to use. I use phone for photo's emails, work and personal, basic games, notes - continuously, shopping, fitness and am able to download a lot of the apps. Able to open phone for better viewing and watching movies etc Show details
Don't even think about Samsung folding phones – I had Z fold 2 for 11 months and the main screen and all touch sensor gone black. SAMSUNG WARRANTY? FORGET IT. DON'T GO NEAR Samsung product. I bought it for $2.4k and now worth $900. Lots of issues with the phone and Samsung won't look after you 100%. Show details
Manufacturing fault with Poor customer service – My biggest mistake was to switch from Apple products to Samsung! Last year I bought a Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 which comes with several manufacture defects. Samsung poor customer service (in Sydney) never care about customer satisfaction, besides the slow process, their main focus is to blame customer than their faulty product which everyone knows… Read more
about it. It ends up paying over $4000 to own a crappy Fold 2 phone. I would never use their products again and won’t suggest it to anyone.
Faulty screen, samsung refusing to take responsibility for the devices problem – The screen has shown weakness and had stress mark in the centerfold. SAMSUNG advised me that it's due to liquid. Samsung are taking no responsibility for their product. The phone is 6months old
After several weeks of frustration they ended up warranting the problem. Replacing the phone with a new one.
Warning don't buy samsung galaxy fold 2 – Loved my phone until 2weeks ago a black line appeared in the fold and then spread over the entire screen. Now samsung has accused me of either dropping or spilling liquid and am not covered under warranty and have been quoted $220 to fix it. Samsung products are great until you have a warranty claim their after sales service is appalling I'm very disappointed. Show details
Love it. Will not go back to any other phone! – Excellent camera both front and back. Crystal clear images. Many functions available to creat some wonderful memories. Easy to carry and even though it looks big, once folded, it is very easy to carry. It is as good as any mini Bluetooth speaker with loud playback. I use it for everything, from work to watching netflix. Show details

lots of issues, not covered by Samsung, terrible customer service – Received my phone in JAN21. beautiful item which worked fine. Mid June I noticed a line exactly where the screen folds. 2 days later my inner screen broke (Black liquid spread everywhere inside the phone). I contacted Samsung for repair (Concierge service) and they send me a pack containing a little parcel + prepaid envelope. The label on the… Read more
envelope was badly printed and the courier told me that if they took it, the parcel will be lost. I alerted Samsung, and another pack was sent on the following week. Same Issue. They offered me another solution : leaving the phone in one of their partner shops. Which i did. 2 weeks later, no progress and i finally got a call telling me they will email me the label for the envelope but i need to pick up the phone from the store, and send it from my place... At this stage, a bit more than a month had elapsed. They finally contacted me to let me know repair would be $220 and diagnosis was that the phone fell. This is incorrect and I disputed it. Now they tell me that this type of damage is not under the scope of their guaranty. At the end of the day I feel like Samsung product are amazing but if you have any problem with them, Customer Service would not help. Worse, I feel scammed (i read that some people never got back their phone because it was lost during transit, which sounds legit as I almost experienced it). I also feel that they try their best to discourage people to go forward with a repair. I have 2 Samsung phones, headphone, 2 tablets, TV and fridge. Never again will I buy Samsung after this experience.
Terrible customer service – Bought it 5 months ago and noticed a small blue line on the bottom right side, sent it to Samsung store for an assessment. Came back in a few days and the assessment report says system upgraded, and assessed. However the blue line is still there and what made it worse, on the top left corner appeared a big blob of glue-ish mark that wasn't even… Read more
there when I sent it in. Now will have to wait another week or two, and god knows what my phone will turn out to be this time
Will check with retailer regarding. Missing items – Phone I great, but no head phones no SIM tray pin opener in box, phone is very good camera excellent fingerprint sensor could be better brightness good but after spending a lot of money to find things are missing??? Show details
Very expensive but probably worth it in comparison – Have owned and used for 3 months. Is an excellent phone, easy to use. Making a call is like holding an old traditional handset. Battery life is excellent, I easily get 2-3 Days, but I am not a person who is on the phone all day. The phone works the same and as good as any modern Samsung phone. I have found it to be very durable but again I look… Read more
after my phones. I no longer use any form of tablet, just the Fold. outrageously expensive, but all premium phones are these days.
