very good – I am very happy with the performance of this vacuum.it is more cheaper than dyson but have great suction power and performance.this bagless vacuuming is very easy to cleaning. The power cord is long enough to reach approx. 2 rooms, however it does start to overheat if used on the max setting.  Show details

Good vacuum cleaner and some great features – Amazing vacuum cleaner with great suction power and performance. It has 3 settings. Low, Normal and High which is a good addition by Samsung. I constantly switch between the three depending on the amount of dirt I need the vacuum to suck in. The dust sensor is a quite nice as it lets me know if the area is clean or not. The only thing I don't like is how heavy it is.  Show details

it is good – i am happy with the performance at first. a couple of month later i find the suction is not as good as before. it is easy to use with different head also with the dust sensor. it is not that easy to clean after you use it. i wish i didn't change my mind when i ready to buy the dyson one .  Show details

Do not go near this! – This has been rubbish from the start, turbo brush not turning and after loosing the will to live on the Samsung helpline getting it replaced only to fail again. The buttons on the handle keep turning it off, the hose is too short, the upholstery tools are useless, it does have good suction and the cable retracts well but apart from that a total waste of money. A £100 henry is much better and as for that helpline (don't bother)!

bad choice – After 2 years of trying to persevere with this vacuum cleaner I have decided enough is enough. it is heavy, the handle is unwieldy and the crevice tool is awkward to use. I am also very disappointed with the suction which seems to be almost non existent even when the so called power is turned up. Also the buttons on the handle keep getting… Read more

turned off as you use it.

I have both carpet and polished wood floors but one of the heads seems to scrape the floor even though the brush is down.

Just not doing what suppose to do – Just bought one year ago and looking for new one. The vacuum cleaner doesn't have enough suction power even it was writing 2000W but just not enough to do the job. Really frustrating spending a lot of money and don't make a good product. Another problem the button located on the handle and always touch them so you need constantly adjust them.… Read more

Don't recommend it to buy. My relative had similar but LG product was excellent that's why I bought it as I couldn't find LG here.

Rediculous suction power but.. Reliability is questionable – I researched the specification of this vacuum before I purchased it and noticed it had more suction than a thousand dollar miele. It had soo much suction that it pulled my carpet off its smoothedge so I always use it at 2/3 power. The upholstery attachment broke the other day and I wasn't surprised because the thickness of the plastic is very… Read more ·  1

thin. Recently I have noticed it's operating louder than usual and is starting to sound a little sick so I wonder how long it will last. The Sponge filter keeps dislodging itself and sucking dirt into the motor because when I take the canister off I can see it has been sucked out of place but it does still seem to be working well.

I loved my other Samsung but this one is a joke – I totally agree with some of the remarks. I had a Samsung previously and it was great. That is why I decided to go with Samsung again. Bad move. The controls on the handle are easy to accidently turn down or off - my other Samsung which had similar controls on the handle did not do this. The attachments on the handle are also a joke. They… Read more

make the vacuum handle / hose feel very heavy and awkward besides the fact that you can't clean cobwebs because they are attached to the handle. I only have timber floors and the vacuum head is big and clunky - I am using the head from my previous machine and it is a nice lightweight one. I also find it very difficult to disassemble to empty - it makes a terrible mess. With my other Samsung, you could just put a plastic bag over the top of it, turn it upside down and empty straight into the bag. Just putting it back together again is also difficult. I am extremely disappointed in this particular model and will definately not buy another Samsung vacuum cleaner. I don't think a real person actually test drives these cleaners. If they did, then they would surely pick up the bad points. Maybe they need a female to test them in a real home situation before manufacture.

Can it live up to its name? – Nice design. Nice accessories. Everything seems sturdy except the dust cup. Cheap cheap plastic and it can break easily when putting the two pieces back together. BE cautious. Also the Hepa filter H13 and the premotor filter are not available anywhere online.

Very disappointing – I needed a second vacuum cleaner for a house I purchased to renovate in a neighbouring suburb, and as I have been very happy with the LG Allergy Care bagless cleaner purchased about 5 years ago (it's still going strong), I decided to go with this Samsung bagless model, which my husband was able to get for $0 using his credit card Reward Points.… Read more

Bad mistake .... this is one of the most annoying pieces of equipment I have ever had anything to do with. I really dislike it, and even at zero cost consider it a bad deal.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the controls on the handle cause continual frustration because it is so easy to accidentally touch them causing the power to go down or up, or completely off, when you don't want it to. Secondly, the machine itself is really clunky & heavy, and difficult to put together and pull apart – for example even emptying the dust collector, which is pitifully small compared to the one on the LG cleaner, is a bit of a trial because you seem to need to use so much force to get it off that I'm always worried that the plastic handle will break. Ditto disassembling the suction hose sections when you want to store the machine away: rather than connecting to each other via little buttons that click into place, the individual pieces have to be joined up by pushing and twisting one section inside the other. After using the cleaner these sections then become very tight and hard to prise apart, to the extent that I sometimes just give up trying and wait till my husband turns up to do it for me (and even he finds it a difficult task). Then there is the fact that the brush and crevice tool attachments built into the handle are a total joke and next to useless.

The only things I like about this machine are the really long power cord that allows you to clean several rooms without unplugging & replugging, and the fact that so far it has maintained decent suction – but then I've only owned it for about a month, and who knows what will happen over the next year or so. Providing that I don't give in to temptation well before that time: the urge to chuck it out and replace it with something else more user-friendly may be just too strong to resist.

This was the first time I have ever purchased an appliance made by Samsung, and on the basis of what I've experienced with this vacuum cleaner it's also very likely to be my last.

Great vacuum with handy features – Recently purchased this vacuum and we are pretty impressed. It has some very helpful features such as a dust indicater which is great as i am visiually impaired so usually cant see if i got everything. With this indicater i just go over the same spot until it is green. Amother hsndy feature is the on board tools which i have found do the job. MThe… Read more

filters and dustbin are easily cleaned under running water. It has a quiet function and lead is pretty long. It is a bit heavy but hey it is a vacuum cleaner. We dont regret purchasing this!

Great Vaccum cleaner – A lot cheaper than many other Vaccum cleaners initially I was a little sceptical but it has proven quite a good cleaner. with the roll on Brush below it cleans immaculately and I get full suction almost till the time I have to empty the storage container. long extension cord too which gives me plenty of distance between power sockets. highly recommend this brand

Disappointed with this machine – Suction good, but I found the vacuum cleaner cumbersome, on board tools useless and automatic on/ off switch a nuisance ( removed the batteries, I constantly accidentally bumped it on/off controlling the variable suction) . I prefer manual switch. I found it difficult to detach brushes from pipe hose, fittings very tight. I prefer a simple… Read more

machine with very good suction. There are some things on this vacuum that are not necessary eg, dust spot alert and the automatic on/ off switch.

Not nearly as good as expected – also bought at the good guys on line. price was excellent, suction is very good and moves well but the on board built in brush is next to useless and the crevis tool is too short and the click in detente does not retain them in position and they telescope in. The adjust speed switch on the handle I disconnected( removed the batteries) as I was… Read more

always accidentally touching it and it would shut off or slow down. It does have two filters which also need cleaning unlike the dyson so this unit not as good as I had expected. 6 out of ten.

Good all round vacuum cleaner – We have had this for around 3 months now and im quite impressed with its performance, sucks well and make short work of all the dog hair in our house which our previous vacuum cleaner struggled with. I would more then happily buy one again.

Very good but not fantastic – Cleaning it is easy. Everything pulls apart and is easily washed. The dust sensor is great. Essential when you've got kids. Good suction. All the tools are handy. The cord length is fantastic with not a lot of PowerPoint changes. However: The motion sync is not the case as it bumps into furniture like any other. Sometimes the power level button on the handle easily gets turned on and off.

What a dissapointment – I just bought this vacuum and it's little more than an expensive disappointment. The electronic buttons on the handle work only 50% of the times because of it's poor design, the buttons are inconveniently placed where they can by pressed by mistake quite easily when vacuuming. Also the power control button on doesn't have an indicator to tell… Read more

how far the vacuum power is turned up to.

The brush is another very poor design decision. It's built into the hose and NOT detachable so you can't use it on the end of the extendable tube so that means if you need to clean skirting boards to have to bend over or if cleaning a cob web in the corners of your ceiling sorry, you have to pick up the heavy unit and stand on a chair to reach?? Really clever Samsung. Not only is the brush short on bristles, when using full power the bristles often fold inwards as they get sucked into the end of the hose.

If that wasn't enough of a disappointment, when we called Samsung we were shuffled off to an offshore calling centre with poor English skills. They sent us to a local spare parts centre where we were told there is not brush available for this unit. Not happy at all. Bad product Bad service is was on special too many to list
