Good fridge – Only issue is the freezer drawer cracked after jumping its tracks and the inner plastic has cracked near the light. Overall a quiet, quality fridge. I lucked out with this model as other LG models seem to have a lot of issues. I bought LG products back in the late 90s and they lasted faultlessly for decades until upgraded; that was when they were Korean made. Show details

Samsung Refrigerator- not so cool – Sadly this fridge has failed in multiple areas and has only actually worked as a fridge for 6months out of 4 years. Temperature Sensor failed, Fan Failed, door not insulated enough for Qld use. Requires new main board. Poor quality overall and not the first Samsung product I have purchased that has failed just outside of warranty with zero… Read more

support from Samsung Australia at all. Currently considering going to Consumer affairs as manufacturers warranty and fair use expectations are vastly different, especially when I am now aware that this model is known for these issues from my previously Samsung warranty approved repairer. As I’ve had a similar issue with my dishwasher and my father in-Laws washing machine I believe my time buying Samsung products is now at an end and I strongly urge anyone considering their products to do their research first.

Fridge Lining cracked & useless freezer section – Firstly, we bought this fridge/freezer from Harvey Norman and took out the extended warranty. The lining of the fridge under the freezer section has badly cracked - and Harvey Norman have stated that this is a 'cosmetic' issue and will not do anything about it even though there is still another 2 years of warranty! Secondly, the freezer drawers… Read more

are small - the bottom one is so small that you cannot slide it out to get anything in or out of it. Totally useless.

I would not recommend this fridge and I particularly would not recommend anyone wasting their money on the Harvey Norman 'Product Care' Extended Warranty - it's not worth the paper it's written on!

Love the upside down concept of this fridge – Love this fridge, totally quiet and very functional. Having the freezer on the bottom is great, the twist ice tray is awesome and the pull out drawers are a great function. The outside easily wipes clean with a damp cloth. Very happy with this fridge. My parents and aunty also bought the same model and are very happy with theirs.  Show details

Company will not fix mistakes – First month of purchase the plastic trays in the fridge section snapped, bad plastic, now one year on the trays in the freezer are breaking up and off their rollers And the good guys consiege say Company dent claim??? Seems odd they are willing to let a disgruntled customer voice his opinion online.  Show details

Liner has cracked in freezer compartment after 22 months – Was very pleased with this fridge until today I noticed a long hairline crack in the bottom plastic liner beneath the freezer drawers. Nothing has been dropped on it. Looking at online fridge reviews it appears most recent fridges are made with a thin plastic lining (built-in obsolescence?!) This is our 3rd fridge - previous fridges lasted 15 and… Read more

14 years respectively - both Westinghouse. This fridge has had the least demands placed on it of all 3 fridges as no children and no large or heavy food parcels kept in the fridge any more. Guess we should have ignored the critical customer reviews of recent Westinghouse fridges and bought another Westinghouse.

Cheap and good features – His fridge cost us $700 and for a 450L decent brand that's pretty cheap. All the other brands for same kind were around 900-1200. This fridge was also not too deep for our space, in fact it was the shallowest I could find. The twist ice tray is a bonus and pull our freezer drawers are fantastic. I'm so glad I got an upside down fridge. Also the electric temp control button and led internal lights make it a bit posh. It's great  Show details

Great Fridge – Been using this Fridge for the past week and am amazed by how spacious this ‘smaller’ fridge is. Energy efficient and quiet too which is a big plus. Easy to clean, maintains good temperature in all compartments. Perfect size for an apartment, highly recommend. Purchased from The Good Guys. 5 Stars.  Show details

Great refrigerator! – I bought this refrigerator in November 2017 and so far so good! It's very quiet and has a lot of storage space. Easy to clean and very bright. I especially love the folding shelf feature. It comes in handy when I want to store something bulky for a short period.  Show details

Average – Maintains a good temp, is quiet and easy to clean. I gave it 3 stars because i found the bottom freezer draw was smaller than the top freezer draw which means you really cant fit much in the bottom. I like that there is a sliding shelf in the fridge and that the drink rack is removable. I just would of really liked more room in the freezer. I think we will buy a small separate freezer.  Show details

Perfect – Heaps of space and beautiful light when fridge is open! Easy to clean and very modern. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to buy a new fridge. Freezer at the bottom is very convenient. Bottom shelf folds over to allow larger items to fit in the fridge easier without having to take shelves out  Show details

Great product, plain and simple – Just bought this fridge when we moved house, as the new owners of our old house wanted the french door F&P fridge that we used to have. Enjoy. I searched hard for a fridge that was quiet, as that was the worst feature of our last fridge. So far the Samsung has done ok; i wasn't sure that it worked at first because i couldn't hear anything… Read more

coming from it. After nearly an hour, I inspected it to make sure it wasn't faulty, and the temperatures were 3degrees in the fridge, and -19 in the freezer.... not bad for a machine i couldn't hear.

Update: Have had the Samsung fridge for 3 years now, still super quiet, maintains temperatures precisely, no maintenance required. It serves a family of 6, our 4 children are not gentle with it. All the shelving, door baskets, and ice trays are holding up well. It’s a great product.

Suitable for Big or Small Family – We purchased this Samsung refrigerator in July. very happy with it. beautiful and sleek design. very spacious. has a 309 litre capacity allowing us to put a lot of food and beverages without difficulty. It fits in our kitchen very well. Plus, it has double hinged door option that allows you to change the door to your choice.  Show details

Perfecf Fridge! – It's on the shade of black so it perfectly fits in the color scheme of our kitchen. The height is enough and we have liked the bottom freezer as it's part of the fridge that we seldom open. Opening the fridge is very convenient. The freezer quickly make ice cubes in minutes. We had a good deal for this product.  Show details

Very nice fridge – Maintains good temperature in each compartment, very quite, & easy to clean, I love the freezer compartment being at the bottom. Looks beautiful in my kitchen, my only issue would be that I'd love a even bigger version of this fridge but don't have the room. I love it so far & had it for a few years now, with no problems.  Show details

Broken glass shelf not long after purchased – It should be a perfect fridge for my family, quite, roomy space, for a medium size of fridge, good looking as well. But just afew weeks of using it, i heard a cracking noise but not sure what was it untill i saw a crack on the corner of the glass shelf but it doesnt effect the use, so i ignored it. Then one month after the day i found the… Read more

crack, my husband was cleaning the fridge, he grabed the shelves one by one for a was then the one with a small crack was all the sudden burst into pieces on his hands and left some small cuts on his hand too, it was terribel. It was shocking.

Then we contacted the Samsung costumer service to replace the glass shelves, we received it the next day and replace the old one, this time i found the plastic frame was cracking.

Good value for spacious fridge – Good value for space and design. Recommended for thosr who want bottom freezer. Nice metallic colour. Easy to move because of wheels at the base. Easy to clean. Only drawback is it has glass shelves so could break with heavy items placed and can get scratches . Wine rack is fabulous feature.  Show details

This is excellent, heaps of space – It maintains good temperature and quiet. It also alerts you if the door doesn't close. The trays are easy to remove or move up and down. It has heaps of space to keep my food fresh. But you have to open the door to adjust temperature, which it's a little bit inconvenient.  Show details

Fits in our fridge space perfectly – We bought this based purely on the question "what is the biggest fridge we can get (allowing 5cm air circulation) for our large family but small fridge hole?" So there weren't may options because we had an unusually shallow hole as well with tight cupboard hinges that open right next to the fridge. This fridge met that criteria, and even… Read more

though we didn't want to go for a Samsung I am very happy with our purchase.

It is very quiet. The temperature is maintained consistently. The glass shelves are easy to clean. The little sliding shelf is very handy when I have large casserole pots or lots of tall bottles to keep cool. The freezer drawers are practical and can store a surprising amount of stuff! (this comes from a serial freezer-fanatic. I freeze almost everything).

I do find the egg holders a little fiddly because theyre not fixed in the plastic - presumably so that you can move it. But it doesnt break the eggs which is the main thing. It's just that I prefer it if it doesn't move at all.

The aesthetics are great and the silver finish doesnt get finger marks on it! - this is coming from a family with grubby hands!

Like the hidden handles – It's quiet, it's easy to clean. Think the freezer should have a light in it (most don't - hey, its 2017) and the ice compartment is a little small. Best thing is you can change the door from left to right with the kit the is hidden in on the top of the fridge. Also funny seeing people trying to open it because handles are recessed on the sides of the doors. Good value for money, got $100 cash back.  Show details

Shelves crack and crisper doesn't work! – The fridge looks nice, however, after just 14 months use, the shelves are cracked and continue to crack. The crisper doesn't have a regulator, and all of my fruit and vegetables wilt within 24 hours unless they are wrapped in plastic bags. Product included 4 years "Product Care" through Harvey Norma, which doesn't even cover the cracked shelves or the faulty crisper. Never getting a Samsung again!
