Did not last 6 years – This lasted 4 years 9 months, but decent performance was limited to the first 3 years. Touch panel was fine. Washing standard was average to poor. At 3 years we noticed that dark clothes came out spotted with fine chalky residue. We changed powders, we changed to liquid detergent, we changed to a different liquid detergent, we cleaned the filter,… Read more

we ran the drum clean every month or so, but nothing altered the poor outcome on darks. They smelled musty and foul when we hung them out too. We don't have especially hard water, and we didn't have a problem on previous machines (ASKO and F&P). We found that washing on the wool cycle was also poor, and clothing came out still dirty, and smelled worn. It had occassional small leaks from underneath the machine during the last months, and then declared terminally that it had a drainage problem. Throughout its life we also dealth with the FILTH that accumulates on the inside of the addwash door. This requires cleaning every month at least. On any model with door like this, expect grey, slimey, fibre-y build-up. We spent $800 on the machine and I think it was poor value (and poor function) for that much money.

Terrible washing machine – This would have to be the worst purchase ever. Purchased in 2020 just under a year later the words were almost unable to be seen on the front part of the machine where you select cycles. How on earth do they just come off? Anyhow as under warranty they came and replaced but now they have almost disappeared again. No cleaning on this just wipe over… Read more

with a cloth with water every now and then. Then to top it off in the last couple of weeks only the 15 minute cycle will work. Comes up with error message 4c. I rang a local repair company who said oh no those machines are terrible it could be the mother board or it could be multiple things we prob won’t bother to fix it. So 4 years for a washing machine! Who has money for that. Very disappointed!

Quite a nice change from my old washing machine – My last washing machine lasted me about 15 years so when i got this new machine it was a big difference in technical features. It was a little difficult to get use to holding my finger on the screen to turn machine on and then on the play button im always a bit too quick to take my finger away, i think i would have preferred an actual button that… Read more

just switches on but this is the only annoying prt for me. A couple of my favourite things are how even it washes. We wash everyday and have big king size doonas and lots of thick clothes like denim and trackie dacks that really fill up so i'm very glad i got the 9,5kg. I like the reminders to clean and the flat screen is good for cleaning as there are no cracks to get dirt out of just wipe. The reminder to do a drum clean every 40 washes is good because i always forget to clean the washing machine. The steam wash is particularly great for sanitising we have two dogs and this always makes their blankets extra clean and smelling a lot cleaner. I've had this machine about 4 months now and am quite delighted with the purchase. This has twice the spin capacity of my old washer ao i quite like how quickly the clothes dry.

Fantastic Machine! – Loving my new washing machine! After my previous washing machine of 8 years stopped working, I was on the hunt for a new washing machine that offered similar features. Since purchasing I have loved using it. I especially appreciate the bonus features such as the steam setting, bubble soak and easy iron. Its made doing laundry a breeze with such a fantastic piece of equipment!

For great service and very quick turn around I recommend purchasing from "Appliances online". They also installed the washer, removed my old washing machine and the packaging of the new for no additional price!

Highly recommend, fantastic!

This machine has caused me nothing but trouble – In the three years i have owned this machine i have had so many problems with this washing machine. Then when the washing machine is two months out of warranty the spin cycle wouldn't spin so i had to get a sensor fixed. The last thing was the spinning cycle… Read more

being so loud and vibrating everywhere that its broken tiles from backwall and ground went through wall and busted pipe, this caused concrete inside to break the barrel inside and the invertor and caused it to leak from the bottom. That was the last thing that happened and i got told it was rubbish from a technician, its only three years old i see washing machines from facebook and gumtree for sale that are over 10 years old still working. What a problem washing machine, I have always purchased samsung products but after this i wont be anymore.

Broke down 2 months out of warranty – I'm a big fan of samsung products & I loved this machine when I got it. We had noticed the machine started sounding loud when on spin cycle at only 25months old. It started to get much worse (almost… Read more

unbearable to run on spin) after a couple of weeks so I decided to call a technician come out to look at the machine. The tech advised that the motor bearings were worn but I could continue to use the machine while I waited for the repair quote. The very next day, the machine stopped spinning altogether. I'm not happy! 26 month old machine (2 months out of warranty) that has been quoted at over $1000 to repair!!

FYI - Technician who came out advised us that he sees a lot of problems with samsung washing machines.

Very disappointing samsung.

Pump failure twice within 2 years – Machine broken within a month and samsung replaced the pump. Now again after 1.5 years this problem persist. the first repairer from the samsung had mentioned that "this model machines are having problem with the pump, now the pump i am replacing is the upgraded one, it should be fine" and we have the pump failure again, if only i had known that this machine would have pump failure twice within two years i wouldn't have bought it. According to consumers affairs Victoria - "Major problems with products If there is a major problem with a product, the consumer is entitled to return it and seek a remedy, A reasonable consumer had known about the problem, they would never have bought the product". Now the problem still remains and i have had a huge hassle twice, still waiting and I am entitled to replacement or a full Refund as even if the pump is repaired it is likely to happen again, I might never buy a samsung washer again unless there is a decent one.

Poor quality, noisy and leaks due to a flimsy seal – Avoid this machine at all costs. It's really noisy and does not perform anywhere near to its price point. Good Samsung Service but worry about this machines longevity – This machine was bought in December 2019 for $790 from the Good Guys to replace a 13 year old Whirlpool front loader. buzzing.

I promptly called Samsung Care and the Service Agent advised they are ordering the parts and pretty quickly. However they had the wrong part but came back again today to fix it.

In the end, the pump, control unit and door locking mechanism was replaced.

When I reported the issue to Samsung they didnt argue and accepted it. To me , it seems like this is a common issue.

The 2 year warranty expires in December for the internals.

It's a bit disappointing that it has failed but the Samsung service and Service Agent were great.

If the machine fails next time, I will just throw it out. Since I have solar power and a 5000 litre water tank, I will just buy a cheaper top loader machine and be done with that.

I would give it and Samsung customer service 0 if it was an option – A little over a year ago we purchased a Samsung add wash washing machine item number WW85K54E0UW.  The washer has been broken and unusable for over two weeks.  We made contact with Samsung over two weeks ago as the washer had begun to leak water and had left rubber shavings all over the clean clothes. It was also vibrating excessively and when… Read more

drawing in water sounded like a diesel truck. So incredibly loud!

With every call we made to Samsung, the representatives would threaten that if their tech could not find a fault we would pay an attendance fee!  An attendance fee on a broken washer within the manufacturer warranty period!

It took over two weeks for a technician to attend our home all this time not being able to wash any clothes.

Just today two Samsung technicians picked up our machine stating the bearings had gone and that it was leaking from not only the door but from underneath. They mentioned that if they deemed these faults to be a result of our misuse the machine would not be covered under its warranty.

Faults of this nature are totally unacceptable for a machine of this age. The appliance is used mostly on a time delay and has never been overloaded. We have totally lost faith in the samsung product and the poor customer service have left a sour taste.

We have zero confidence to run any Samsung product in our home especially on a time delay when we are not able to observe or intervene if it breaks, leaks water or worse still catches fire.

Please, please do not buy this appliance. It is far more trouble than it's worth and when, not if you start having issues with it there will be no customer service.

Awful seal, overpriced and samsung don't honour the warranty – Design wise the Samsung is pretty nice and the add features works well, but thats where the positive part of the review ends for this washing machine, i had it 2 weeks before the seal started to tear, I left it as it was bad but over the course of a couple of months it became much worse, still well within my warranty period i contact samsung… Read more

asking them to simple send a replacement seal for me to install but they wouldnt, i explained my last Samsung washing machine lasted 7 years with no issues with the seal or anything else really, the door handle fell off after 5 years but never leaked or had issues.

Comparing the feel of the 2 seals on both my old and new washing machines the new one feels much more fragile so i decided to do a search and it seems like im not the only one having issues, theres a long list of people having the same issue in identical spots. bottom of the door, some have replaced it only to find the same thing happend again only a few weeks later.

Poor Pump and Filter Design - Avoid – We bought this machine from the good guys in Brighton, VIC seven months ago. It is used daily for towels, underwear and small clothing items. pump blocked with lint debris. The pump was ok but would not operate due to the debris. What is the point of a filter if it fails to prevent this happening. This is very poor design and after light use for only seven months it should not happen. I was also asked to pay $160 callout charge for something we could not prevent. Last Samsung that we buy. Postscript - After various messages being exchanged with Samsung in ‘mediation’ for this problem, we have got precisely nowhere. Samsung have not acknowledged there is a continuing problem in spite of the engineer saying ours was not the first Samsung machine with this problem that he had attended. Our next stop will be to request a full refund as per the ACCC website on the grounds that the washing machine is not fit for purpose and we would not have bought it had we known of this problem. Moral of the story, DON’T BUY A SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE AS THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER.

Poor Build Quality, Sounds like a diesel truck when in rinse cycle – Purchased Samsung WW95N64FRPW Washer from Appliances Online, this in May 2020, immediately noticed it was quite loud when in high spin, so I completed the following: - Used a spirit level to make sure the washer is flat, I also checked the floor level too.. - Washer is on wooden floor boards, I purchase some specifically designed rubber legs… Read more

Samsung sent out a technician, they said this was normal for a washer to be this level of noise, the washer on its own shakes itself so badly that the metal side walls shake - very normally apparently

Samsung will not take this back, Appliances online will not refund either, I'm now pursuing via CAV & ACCC - buyer beware purchasing large items online, you can't simply take these back to the store.

hear it. In reference to the smell that others noted, after the first wash there was a faint plastic-like smell which I attributed to the heat of the cycle coming in contact with the internal seal material.
