This machine has caused me nothing but trouble – In the three years i have owned this machine i have had so many problems with this washing machine. When in warranty i had the door fixed twice during warranty and the seal needed fixing. Then when the washing machine is two months out of warranty the spin cycle wouldn't spin so i had to get a sensor fixed. The last thing was the spinning cycle… Read more
being so loud and vibrating everywhere that its broken tiles from backwall and ground went through wall and busted pipe, this caused concrete inside to break the barrel inside and the invertor and caused it to leak from the bottom. That was the last thing that happened and i got told it was rubbish from a technician, its only three years old i see washing machines from facebook and gumtree for sale that are over 10 years old still working. What a problem washing machine, I have always purchased samsung products but after this i wont be anymore.
Broke down 2 months out of warranty – I'm a big fan of samsung products & I loved this machine when I got it. I enjoyed the fact that it had an in built heater so I didn't have to worry about using all the hot water and it always cleaned our clothes well. We had noticed the machine started sounding loud when on spin cycle at only 25months old. It started to get much worse (almost… Read more
unbearable to run on spin) after a couple of weeks so I decided to call a technician come out to look at the machine. The tech advised that the motor bearings were worn but I could continue to use the machine while I waited for the repair quote. The very next day, the machine stopped spinning altogether. I'm not happy! 26 month old machine (2 months out of warranty) that has been quoted at over $1000 to repair!!
FYI - Technician who came out advised us that he sees a lot of problems with samsung washing machines.
Very disappointing samsung.
Seal broken and less than 3 months later coming away from drum. Awful customer service – Owned this machine about 8 months when it starts leaking seal is broken. Repaired by samsung after threatening consumer law. Less than 3 months later seal comes away from the drum - again samsung blames me for what is clearly a design fault. Now they want $300 to fix it - disgusting considering it was nearly $1000 less than a year old Show details
Crappy Rubber Seals - Beware!! – We bought our Samsung washing machine a little over a year ago. The rubber seal ended up twisted and leaking water. Customer Service advised this was not covered under warranty, as they believe we had clothing caught in the door. I am pretty sure we didn't, but how can they be so sure that we did if they were not there to see it! Also, had an… Read more
ASKO front loader for 15 years, worked a dream, not a problem ever, never got clothes stuck in the door. I am sorry that we got sucked in on the sales pitch, wished I bought another ASKO now (buyer's remorse). Interesting to note on various forums etc how many other people are having the same issue. It suggests to me that Samsung have a design flaw in their rubber seal. Expensive repair - that is not covered.

This is noisiest washing machine ever!!!!!! – If your looking for a machine that would wake the entire house then this is for you It’s constant spraying of water throughout the wash cycle is so ridiculously noisy it’s unbearable. There must better quieter machines out there but be warned this is a very noisy machine Show details

Poor Build Quality, Sounds like a diesel truck when in rinse cycle – Purchased Samsung WW95N64FRPW Washer from Appliances Online, this in May 2020, immediately noticed it was quite loud when in high spin, so I completed the following: - Used a spirit level to make sure the washer is flat, I also checked the floor level too.. - Washer is on wooden floor boards, I purchase some specifically designed rubber legs… Read more
QuietFeet - Less -b --- Washing Machine Noise (i've also tried without the rubber feet, it's even worse) - checked level again in all directions - Washer has nothing stacked on it or any objects around it - Ran the calibration on the Samsung mode after completing the above - Ran a empty load of washing
Samsung sent out a technician, they said this was normal for a washer to be this level of noise, the washer on its own shakes itself so badly that the metal side walls shake - very normally apparently
Samsung will not take this back, Appliances online will not refund either, I'm now pursuing via CAV & ACCC - buyer beware purchasing large items online, you can't simply take these back to the store.

Do Not recommend – we always used front loader with no issues , less than 2 months after purchase the machine started to leak through the front door, contacted the manufacturer who appointed a local technician to fix the issue , they came around and advised the 2 year manufacturer warranty would not cover the door seal, so we had to pay $240 to be fixed. we tried to… Read more
contact Samsung customer service/ warranty again to dispute and no response. now 6 months after the purchase the machine doesn't seem to rinse or drain properly, we are a busy family of 3 (1 newborn), don't have time to chase warranty/ bad service again - we just gave up on Samsung, won't be buying their products again :(
We are very sorry to hear of the negative experience… Read more
Great – Its a great machine, my previous one was Samsung too. Lasted me 9 years. The beauty of this is you have a lid where you can pause the Machine while in operation and put some clothes which I believe is great as compared to others which locks after starting operation. Show details
First time front loader - so far so good – The Actual machine setup was great. Washing clothes is excellent, clothes appear to be cleaner and a quiet wash. Only complaint so far was the setup of the Smart Things wifi connection which was not easily understood. Show reply
Quite a nice change from my old washing machine – My last washing machine lasted me about 15 years so when i got this new machine it was a big difference in technical features. It was a little difficult to get use to holding my finger on the screen to turn machine on and then on the play button im always a bit too quick to take my finger away, i think i would have preferred an actual button that… Read more
just switches on but this is the only annoying prt for me. A couple of my favourite things are how even it washes. We wash everyday and have big king size doonas and lots of thick clothes like denim and trackie dacks that really fill up so i'm very glad i got the 9,5kg. I like the reminders to clean and the flat screen is good for cleaning as there are no cracks to get dirt out of just wipe. The reminder to do a drum clean every 40 washes is good because i always forget to clean the washing machine. The steam wash is particularly great for sanitising we have two dogs and this always makes their blankets extra clean and smelling a lot cleaner. I've had this machine about 4 months now and am quite delighted with the purchase. This has twice the spin capacity of my old washer ao i quite like how quickly the clothes dry.
Works good but need custom cycles – It cleans great but i it is a little noisy when filling up but it has a really fast spin speed and don't need much time in the dryer and cleans really well Show details
Faulty product that failed from day one – I purchased the Samsung WW95N64FRP Front loader washing machine with add wash a week and a half ago. From the moment I used the machine the glass door began leaking at the join of where the add wash door meets the glass. I’m appalled that a washing machine that is only days old has already failed. The touch pad at the front is too sensitive.… Read more
If your clothes or body touches the button you risk turning off the machine and then having to start with the load again wasting time, water and energy.
I will be contacting Samsung to escalate this.
