installing and the product failing, the third party installer and I realised that they had send a completely incorrect key electrical component as part of the product which prevented the whole product from functioning. Still waiting for them to rectify mistake.

Dishonest people – Don't deal with this people if you don't want to be mislead. No customer service

Worst purchase for the home i have ever made – On paper i thought i was getting a larger machine for my gate. Turns out it was a lesser unit (and a dodgy international import at that) After it failed they denied everything, lied to me outright and in the end they stopped taking my calls. Strongly suggest you avoid this business.

Great Priced Garage Opener – Great priced garage opener. Easy DIY replacement for our old system. Fast postage and YouTube video made it easy to follow and install. Noticed the motor is also much quieter than the old Merlin chain drive operator we had. It has been over a year since installed and still working as smooth as the day we got it. Recommended incorrect product then deny recommending demand 15% restocking – Phoned this place and they recommended a replacement motor based on a description of the existing motor to be replaced and after providing then with the existing motors specifications, I actually asked at the time if I should purchase an even bigger model and was told no this one should be fine, they were told the length and weight of the gate and… Read more

the slope angle. Old motor max leaf = 5000N this new motor max leaf = 6000N so even on paper this new one appeared to be larger. Cost within reason really was not an issue I wanted something reliable that worked.

Had the new motor installed and it wouldn't program so removed it and emailed them with the issue.

Over another phone call they said it should work and he even said “It should be ok let it cool down over night and try it again in the morning when its cooled down” but it actually started to perform even worse, sometimes it would open the gate all the way other times it would stop at various stages.

Next this place claim they would never provide a recommendation for a gate of this size but suggested I now purchase a different brand from them for another $850.00.

Finally they said their restocking fee was 20% but offered in writing to take it back with a 15% restocking fee as if doing me a favor while their actual website clearly stated 15% for a restocking fee.

15% is well over $130.00 and after firstly recommending this model and then secondly getting us to try it again after he was told yet again the length weight and slope, he even said “It should be ok let it cool down over night and try it again in the morning when its cooled down” the product they sold was obviously not fit for the purpose and they should refund or exchange without penalty. Problem with exchange is they now claim they do not make recommendations..

Asked Fair Trading to discuss it with them they told Fair Trading they did not recall ever receiving my call prior to purchase even though the invoice was made up and ready when I arrived to pick up the unit. They told fair trading I must have rang a different company for the recommendation before coming to them to buy it.

My calls to their phone number are still in my call logs, first call on the 16/10/2018 @ 15:02:22 for 8 minutes and again on the 30/10/2018 @ 14:07:25 for 10 minutes and 31 seconds and then a call back to confirm everything on 31/10/2018 @ 10:55.23 for 2 minutes and 43 seconds.

When I actually called this same place on 16/10/2018 before the actual purchase I ended up having to hang up on that occasion as the person on the phone that first time kept putting me on hold for every single question I asked so he could go and get the answer from someone else and I had other calls coming in to deal with.

This is the most disappointing purchase with the worst lack of after sales service and care I have experienced in a long time, I couldn’t sleep at night treating customers in my own business like this, selling products that are not fit for the purpose and unusable and then trying to further penalise with a restocking fee, inflating the restocking fee, trying to sell another unit outright and then denying facts....

They claim it is not faulty as it will program without being installed on a gate. what good is a sliding gate motor that only works without the gate?

Bottom line = they recommended the wrong unit and now deny that they did. I would have brought a $2000.00 unit if they recommended it originally now I cannot trust anything they say.
