Good but not great – Fridge lasted 11 years. Finally retiring it after freezer bottom drawer is frozen shut. The plastic was cheaply made. Bought it for $550 in 2009. It is good but plastic started to break after a while. Show details ·  1

bought it from in 2012 into 4 different properties around Melbourne - each time moved by us in the back of a commodore wagon and then to New Zealand a few years ago - we are yet to have a single issue with it.

Fridge is easy to open or close, both doors can be left or right hinged, veggie crisper works well, we don't have any too cold spots and all the shelves, trays & drawers (plastic & glass) have lasted really well and still look like new (if cleaned!)

Ours has never iced up or required anything other than electricity and an occasional wipe.

Absolute Rubbish, Samsung the same – Absolutely rubbish. Our fridge is in mint condition, freezer iced up, fridge stopped working. Samsung Agent came out, replaced all the parts, same problem. what does samsung make. It's hard to avoid the corporation as they are involved in everything, even your iphone is samsung. We won't be buying anything samsung again. We will really research where things come from to make sure. We have just bought a Fisher Paykel Fridge, after research it is the best option other than a 1952 Kelvinator.

It has three freezer drawers which can be easily removed and, with a little planning, these can also be filled to capacity.

Does the job but noisy – I've had this fridge for about two years. It's keeps food cold, which is exactly what you want a fridge to do, but it is quite noisy. It seems to spend a lot of time extracting heat with the motor running, it's especially annoying at night. This is ok in a kitchen but is annoying if you have anyone sleeping in the vicinity of the fridge, ie guests staying over.

Fridge died after 2 years and 7 months – I bought the fridge new in 2012. Was a good fridge/freezer but the fridge section died after only 31 month, of course just a few months after the end of the warranty. The freezer section still works but since somehow out of control (Siberia inside). As I could learn recently it seems to be a common and well-known problem with the inbuilt frost free unit. In my opinion perfectly timed - planned obsolescence? THANKS Samsung. Never again.

Best fridge I have owned – Excellent fridge! After owning a number of fridges this is easily the most reliable frost free fridge freeze I have ever owned. It keeps food fresh for far longer than any other fridge I have owned. Fruit and veg stay fresh for weeks not days.

Not happy – Not even 3 years old, now the fridge is not working but frezzer is alright, iwas expecting will last much longer than that!

Increased electricity bill – My quarterly electricity bill has increased by almost $100 since purchasing this fridge in April. thought my previous fridge was running all the time so replaced it with this one, but the increase in my bill is noticeable. I rang my electricity supplier as I was surprised at the the increase and they asked if I had any new purchases-YES, the fridge. the freezer

Disappointed – On Sunday 14th July this Samsung fridge stopped working but the freezer was okay. It appears that the Temp Fuse has blown and the Defrost Sensor is faulty. 20 years. They don't make things last anymore. I love the freezer as the three draws are great and can fit alot in. The hot sides and cost to repair after only 2 years and 7 months.

So far so Good – I have had my fridge for around a month now and-so far- I'm very pleased with it . It was easy to set up, looks great and temerature adjustment is simple and effective and the fridge is very easy to clean. Terrible – I would advise against buying this model as it will drive you crazy with the noise it makes and the heat it pumps out. fridge part without bending down. Externally, the sides of this fridge are very hot all the time, it makes my whole kitchen feel hot like the oven is on, it's really really hot! Also, this fridge seems to be on constantly and it has a loud, high pitched squeal which can be heard over everything.

well lit fridge, great hidden handles, low on power, removable glass shelves easy to clean, reasonably quiet - I sleep right next to it, temperature controll inside, easy wipe and attractive, on wheels, tall design (great for your back) modern, worth every penny! Jam-jar shelves in the fridge door are a little short.
