Stay clear rubbish products rude owner – Purchased a necklace for Xmas. Broken 6 days later. Went back with original packaging and receipt for a repair or replacement was yelled at, called a liar and asked to leave. After suggesting that the receipt states 14 days for returns was threatened with a lawsuit and they called security. My daughter was in tears and we will never ever go back.… Read more

Coincidentally the shopping centre contacted me after security reported the incident to apologise to me about treatment. Shop owner denies any wrongdoing. I’m left with a faulty product and no resolution. Security were amazingly supportive and very understanding.

Another excellent job – About 6 months ago I had 2 rings made up and I was very happy with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff . This made me go back to have another ring made up and again they produced a ring I was very happy with. Once more the staff that assisted me were very polite and respectful. No refund policy, despite item never being worn and item was returned within 24hrs – My 6 yo daughter and I purchased a necklace as a mother's day gift yesterday. be informed that they do not offer refunds for change of mind. Hhhmmm, change of mind? The necklace doesn't fit, I reiterated to the salesperson. They stated it's there policy to not supply refunds and suggested purchasing a $20 extension for the necklace. How do businesses expect consumers to have confidence in buying their products and remain loyal when they undertake these business practices, especially during these times. Will never shop there in the future and will not be recommending this business to friends and family. They may be within their legal responsibilities but good will and good faith go a long way!

Poor customer service , poor quality jewellery. Please go somewhere else. You will regret buying anything from here – Bought silver jewellery here. Earings were flimsy. Owner refused to exchange even before 1 month. Told that it’s their policy of no exchange rule which is understandable but quality is so poor that I can’t ever use them. Will never return here for sure.

Gift certificate not honored – Extremely disappointed with the service provided from the manager at the Preston store. Was given a voucher for a birthday last year, with a twelve month expiration date that was altered and signed (from 3 to 12 months) on their end. Excellent – I purchased a couple of items of jewellery. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and helped me with a query I had straight away after I was shrugged off by many other places in the centre. Highly recommended.

Pretty disappointed with quality and service – Purchased a pair of white gold hoop diamond earrings, cost me $400, they broke within the first 6 months, called them to ask what the policy was and was told there is no warranty when it comes to jewellery, but they told me to bring them in and they would assess them. the previous ones had a fault and keep breaking, told me he had to send them back to manufacturer but the most it would cost me would be $10-20 dollars to have them fixed, I wasn’t really happy with this as they should of been under some sort of warranty but I agreed because I had paid $400 for them and they were useless to me if I didn’t fix them. Anyway a couple of weeks later I get a call from the store to tell me my earrings are back and i was to pay $65 for the repair. I argued with them as he had told me no more than $20 and I shouldn’t even have to pay that. They ended up agreeing to halve the cost so I had to pay $35, which I did so I could have my earrings back.

Last week the earring that was repaired broke again in the same spot, this time loosing half of the diamonds as well.

They are just under 12 months old now and I have decided not to even bother going back to show them because they were not very helpful the first time. $400 is a lot of money for earrings that have broken twice now in less than 12 months.

Very disappointed to be honest. Needless to say, I actually worked in the same shopping centre as the owner of the store for many years and this is the way I get looked after! Imagine how they would treat strangers.

I returned and asked to have the links removed. At this time they said they couldn't do it themselves and to leave the watch with them over the weekend and he'd call me when it was ready as my mum loved further away. I did not hear from the owner. I called the shop 2 weeks later and left a message to which they did not reply. I physically attended the store and the owner came out with the watch and said it was fixed and did not apologise for not calling and blamed the phone for not working. Whilst I was in the shop the phone rang. They changed their tune and said it wasn't working properly. My mum put the watch on and by the next day the watch fell off as they hadn't replaced the link properly. When she put the watch on she also realised the time was 20-25 minutes out and went to a different jeweler to have them adjust the time.

We returned to Sassanos to get them to fix the link again. The owner was rude to my mum and said she should have brought in the removed links because that's where the pin would be that he was going to use. Why they didn't do this in the first place we don't know. They said they'll have to take it to the shop again for another week to fix. My mum refused to do this again and the older lady said to leave it for 15 mins and they'll fix the link.

I went in with my mum to collect the watch which they claimed was fixed again to ask if the time had been adjusted when the band had been corrected previously. They were very rude and I explained that there was already a lag with the time. They continued to be rude, eventually offering to send the watch away again for either 'days, weeks or months' and was unable to confirm how long it would be gone for. My mum again explained that she would be traveling overseas shortly and couldn't have her watch sent away. The woman kept butting in and being rude and the owner told her to butt out. I asked for details of who I could complain to and they said 'god'. The owner then proceeded to tell my mum that he hoped her watch would fall off again and that it would be lost. They said her watch was in the clearance section even though they knew it was purchased as a present for her and was just generally rude all around. We decided we were getting nowhere and started to walk out of the shop, they had walked off on us and the older lady followed us out telling us to get out of the shop. When we replied that we were leaving and she should leave us as her boss told her to stay out of it she yelled at us that they was told us to F off. By this point we were already out of the store. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this store. If anything needs replacing or fixing they are useless, rude and unprofessional.
