My Rosie was put on apoquel for a non food allergy, she couldn't stop itching and had bald patches. I was given a bag of care plus sensitive and her skin improved immensely so much so I could take her off the medication and she's so much happier and healthier. It's been a god send and she loves it! We are a family with an Australian Shepherd who has a dodgy tummy - allergic to chicken and beef, poor thing. Good for your pet, good for rescue pets too – I've had an American Bulldog & two French bulldogs now who were fed on this. 2 were extremely prone to skin and ear conditions, and I found chicken to be the main culprit. rescues, notably Minnie's Bulldogs, given my breed preference, and having adopted my two frenchies. I'd rather buy Savourlife for the social impact factor. We do love Ziwi, but it's that extra factor that makes us choose the dry food and treats.

Canin at their word, however my findings showed savourlife DOES NOT have nasty fillers, being blueberries, kelp, sweet potato. On the other hand royal Canin DOES have nasty fillers from memory maize, corn etc. My sharpeis are loving the food and treats and it is comforting to know they are on the best. Congratulations and well done SavourLife you really are and have SavedaLife. I also take my animals to AWL for veterinary checks so that the money is being used for rescue.
Dogs loves it's! Good value – We started our one year old rescue on this food, just after we adopted him. He loves it! It's gluten and grain free, no chicken products and lots of fish meal. His coat is lovely and shiny and his glands seem ok now. We're on our third 10kg bag. For our dog the cost works out about $2.00 per day. Great product from a conscientious company – I bought this product after trying a range of other "sensitive" type dry dog foods. Most of them include chicken or chicken oil, which happens to be the protein my dog reacts to. (although to be fair he'd eat anything...). I've found his gut health has improved notably on this food, together with a supportive supplementary diet.
The icing on the cake is that not only is the product excellent, but the values of a the company are admirable. Win win.
Support a company that supports rescue organisations – My rescue dogs are fussy but love the fish kibble. It's breakfast for them with a can of sardines. So happy to find this food! – Savourlife has been a game changer for my little dog and I. Lenny has a chicken allergy and had lost all of his hair on most of his body until we isolated the allergen. This food is guaranteed totally chicken free so I know that I can safely feed him with this food, he gets all of the nutrients he needs and has now regrown all of his hair and is happy and healthy.
