Instructions for my pellet heater say clean it after every fire. If I do that, this gets the glass crystal clear in about 30 seconds. If I leave it for two fires the mess "bakes on" and takes 3 or 4 minutes to clean. More than 3 or 4 fires, and it's hard work. hardwood ones. For regular maintenance I recommend this cleaner, but if you only clean intermittently - get something else.
Rubbish - Don"t bother!! – I thought I'd try these to clean the creosote stains from the glass door of my woodheater (Tip for me use seasoned wood next time) They are useless -$11 something for two from Bunnings. Dont waste your time buying them. I shall go back to using ash from my woodheater with water and an old rag. Trust me this DOES work....
