Absolutely a waste of $45! It is awkward to hold and it does nothing to remove dead skin. The spinning head is poorly designed and it feels terrible on your feet. I don’t recommend. Show details
Hopeless as soon as you change batteries – As soon as I replaced the batteries it stopped working It was fabulous at removing hardened heel skin until the batteries went flat and the brand new batteries failed to revive it
Not affective – When you change the batteries or in my case when I change the batteries it stopped working. I’ve pulled them out and put them back in 10 times - it doesn’t work any more - that was a waste of money & zero points school! Show details

With persistence this works a treat – I do not look after my feet. I have always had hard skin on the soles of my feet beneath my little toe an the toe next to this. I have tried everything. I am not one to go to a Podiatrist. I hate people looking at my feet, I think feet are ugly. So I thought I would give this product a try. Firstly, don't expect miracles the first time of… Read more
using this. It won't just miraculously make the hard skin disappear. You need to work at it. I've been using for three days now and am now just seeing the benefits.
You need to work at it gently. Do not apply firm pressure or it will stop revolving. You need to essentially file away at the hardness. REMEMBER this is not an orbital sander! Do not expect to push down and it sands away. Gentle circular movements applying a little pressure is what I found the most effective.
I work at a particular area for a good 10mins no more. Soak your feet and give them a good moisturise. Then the next day, same routine.
You will see the benefits - BUT you need to take your time.
A waste of time! – This product, while it does what it says (leaves your skin beautifully smooth), takes a long time to do it! If you have thick calloused skin, a pair of sharp nail scissors used carefully would be much quicker to remove the excess skin, and then the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi can be used after that to smooth the skin off. If you rely only on… Read more
the Scholl Pedi, it will take a very long time to remove all the excess skin. It is difficult to use on areas like toes, for removing hard skin on the joints of the toes. Also not suitable if you have veins (e.g. varicose veins), because you can potentially bruise or rupture them, so those parts of your foot will have to be excluded. And to get a smooth finish, depends on your skill in using the product, as all areas on your foot are not in one plane, it's not easy to manoeuvre or roll over all areas smoothly. Remember to have a sheet or sheet of paper under you, to collect the 'dust' of skin. Plus points are that it is quiet during operation and it is battery operated and hand held, so can be used anywhere. It is quite lightweight. Two and a half stars.
Excellent product - why didn't I buy this earlier! – I am an Ultra Marathon Runner and Trail Runner and I have suffered for many, many years from chronically bad, cracked, dry, thick, hard, flaky heals - also on the balls of my feet and occasionally the arches too - this condition started well before taking up running back in my 20s. Even as a guy the condition is disgusting and it's embarrassing… Read more
for people to see my really crappy feet. In summer I really suffer the most. I've tried the greasy creams etc. but I found the messy creams a pain in the butt to use and I was just too irregular in their use. Now I saw a lot of negative reviews on ProductReview about this battery powered Scholl Express Pedi but when I saw it at Coles at 50% for $25 I thought I'd judge it for myself. The first thing I did after opening the packaging was remove the supplied roller head (medium?) and exchange it for a heavy duty Ultra Coarse head and also replace the supplied crappy Chinese AA batteries with quality Duracells. Well the results even after only 5mins were astounding! You have to be patient, don't use too much pressure but it WORKS! On initial use it may take a few repeats to get the perfect finish but after my first go I saw excellent results already. I can't recommend this Scholl Express Pedi highly enough for people with the same chronic foot problems as myself - but you DEFINITELY need to exchange the supplied roller head for Ultra Coarse! (Pack of 2 Scholl Ultra Coarse roller heads at Coles was $12)

Solution for it not working after renewing batteries – I was unsure about buying one of these but eventually did and am really pleased with the results. It does take a while to clear very hard skin but it has definitely worked better for me than doing it by hand. I was very upset when I replaced the batteries and found it didn't work. But I found this video which tells you to tap on the side to… Read more
make it work again. I tapped and it didn't work but after giving it 4 hard taps it burst into life. I hope this works for some of the other people who have experienced the same problem.

Works well for what it is, good results if you follow the instructions and replace batteries – Works well for me - you have to follow up with footcare such as moisturisers or specialised cream otherwise you will just wear away the hard skin and open up cracks. Show details
Really good – I started using the express pedi as soon as I purchased it in 2016. I love it. I can maintain soft heels and the pad below the little toe. When these areas are left hard skin grows . I find that painful. Keeping them smooth is my way of avoiding discomfort Show details

Disappointed – Given as a gift, used twice and loved it. Didn’t need it over winter but when I went to use it thru the next summer it wouldn’t work. Changed batteries, still won’t work. So disappointed. Show details
Don’t waste your money – This truly is a powerless toy. All the negative reviews are true. It just looks good but it is weaker than an electric toothbrush. I actually got more hard skin off with a nail file. Show details
Disappointing – This product worked very well when I first bought it, very easy to use and removed the hard skin but since changing the batteries it does not work any longer. Show details

So disappointed – My son bought it for my birthday. Tried using it once for 5 minutes and then it wouldn't turn on again. We changed the batteries thinking that was the problem but no use. Very disappointed. Show details
Pretty bad – So this device is meant to help you get rid of dry cracked skin of your feet.. well this is actually exactly what it is doing... but!! What is not mentioned is that by using the Device you will actually see that dry hard skin coming back quicker and you'll get more too! So by using this device once you pretty much make your problem even worse. Its to aggressive for your feet ! Show details
good grief! – Honestly did nothing for my skin. Sounds loud enough, didn't cause any bad effects, just didn't do the job it claims. I won't use it again, another lemon bought. Disappointed. Show details
Good for that price – The product itself doesn’t feel very stable but I caught mine for 35 dollars and it work alright. You have to use it for quite a while until skin comes off completely. I think for the price it’s reasonable and i would recommend it. Show details
Terrible gives you Cracked heels!!! – Gives you really bad dry, cracked skin on both toes and heels! Ive used this on two occasions months apart and both times ended up with big cracks in my feet with chunks of dry skin coming off painfully. It’s a waste of money.
This is a toy – I am surprised this was released to market, it is no more than a toy, no power, and stops rotating under the smallest of loads. Scholl need to invest in product development and cease putting to market rubbish like this. As a brand I am now wary.
Works best with new quality batteries – On first use of my unit I was very annoyed that I didn't read the earlier reviews as to its lack of power. But I thought if that's the case it probably needs new batteries as the ones provided are just useless. So I replaced the original ones with a quality brand & have no problems now with speed & effectiveness.
Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi – The Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi may seem pricey but it is definitely worth it. It removes hard skin like no other device whether manual or electrical. A must buy!
Love it – I have been using this for a few years and love it. I am on my feet all working day and wear work boots. This helps maintain my feet between podiatrist visits. For those that say it doesn’t work etc, well you have to constantly maintain your feet to get results so don’t expect miracles if you can’t do that.

Not fit for purpose – this does not work it doesn't do anything it doesn't matter how much pressure you apply it's a complete disaster and just doesn't do what it's suppose to your basivl y throwing your hard earned money away!! simple not fit for purpose
What a load of rubbish – Well what a waste of money, funny thing is I knew it would be before I bought it. Has absolutely no power whatsoever. Put any kind of pressure on it and it just stops. People take note don’t waste your money on these products if they are not mains powered. I’m just so upset at myself for falling for the ad.
You're electric toothbrush has more power to it – Bought this product for $55 dollar at my local shops and found it to be very disappointing. Unfortunately does not have enough power to actually do a good job on your heels. ( I dont have very bad heels ) Your electric toothbrush off its charger for three days would have have more power to it. Even bought the extra strong rolls for it… Read more
.thinking it might be the sandpaper . Nope not a lick of difference. I guess if you if you have really bad heals spend 55 bucks down at Bunning and get yourself a electric sandpaper device . As it will do the job better on your heels then this product.
disappointed – Product comes with batteries must be really bad. I used it once. that was it! wouldn't even give it a star. stops and starts. no power. I wouldn't recommend it. I see i have to give a star to submit. I genuinely wouldn't. I looked for somwhere on the scholl site to complain
So so disappointed – Really needed something for my feet and honestly had it one day.. and it stops every few mins.. and isnt even working well on the hard skin for my heel
Horrible! – I had some light flaky skin before I started using this. Used it twice & now I have the most horrible cracked heels! Same thing happened with my mother. Would not recommend.
Great machine – Great piece of equipment, What I like is the fact that it has a sperical roller which make it easy to get in around toes and your soles which has lots of contours. Well worth the money.
A complete flop – Don’t waste money on this machine. I even tried the extra coarse roller & found no difference. Unfortunately it doesn’t remove a lot of flaky skin. I even tried after having a foot bath but no difference
Exorcism needed – Turns on for no reason. Can’t turn it off. When the ghost isn’t using it it actually works well. Will try holy water to see if this fixes the problem
