Rangehood does not work - Does not even turn on – The range hood does not has not worked once since installation and had never been used by me, I ma yeet to move into the house. Be warned you could end up with an expensive brick, that could cost you more than you expected to have an operational range hood as I now have to pay an electrician to repair the faulty unit -if that is possible!!

Product failed quickly and customer service non existent – It appears that after spending $$$ on a Schweigen built in range hood bought from their own factory outlet they don't want to know your problems after less than 12months. We used a licensed Schweigen recommended installer to preserve and double our warranty (they were great) but that doesn't change their arrogant attitude to customer service. Sharon at customer service tried to charge us for parts $$ until we provided evidence their T&C's have changed since we purchased. They "gifted" us the parts but won't cover installation cost. Schweigen this is a rangehood that should have waterproof internal parts protected from the steam dah, when it fails from water vapour damage you fix it no questions asked, don't hide behind factory second misinformation. I will be paying for the installation because the electrician must be paid but I will be coming after you for ALL ENSUING COSTS. Crap product crap customer service. Lift your game no wonder people move away from Aussie companies.
