Great Builders considering the conditions – Despite a long drawn out build process during and post COVID, the team was able to assist and give regular timely updates. I'm overall very happy with the quality of the build and finishings. The site manager was great and always got back to me very quickly, resolving issues diligently before providing updates. I was at ease during PCI and all the small issues were resolved. Thanks to the team at Select for delivering a great result.

Triplex ticked off! – A massive thank you to the team at Select Living. Whilst we had some hiccups during the build due to various material shortages, Select Living did their best to keep me updated and got the job completed to a level that we were satisfied with. We had a couple of site managers looking after our build who were both busy with multiple developments, but they always got back to me/ returned my calls in a timely manner. Once materials did eventually become available the team were able to achieve lockup pre-Christmas 2022 and PCI 7 month later. After hearing some of the horror stories from other builders over the past 3 years, we were glad we chose to build with Select Living. A special mention to Andrew Heffernan who was amazing through the entire process and was always willing to educate us and give a helping hand.

Quality build during a tricky time – While the build took longer than anticipated due to Covid and then labour/material shortages, the final product is of a high quality. It was not an easy site to work on, with 3 dwellings being built on a tight kite shaped block. The Site Manager looking after the build was very responsive and accommodating to issues that were identified along the way, and at practical completion. There were a few small issues post handover that the builder agreed to rectify in preparation for sale which has been comforting. The provisional sum items all came in higher than the original contract, but not unexpected given the increase in costs for labour and materials over the past 18 months. After reading about what some people have experienced with shonky builders lately, I'm glad I went with these guys.
